      @j.r.h.9265 3 ปีที่แล้ว +7

      Fiji is not actually a mini island in Oceania. The country has a total land area of around 18,000 sq. km - this is way bigger than most in Oceania.
      Outside Australia and New Zealand, I see Fiji as the other potential economic powerhouse in Oceania since they have every advantage against let's say Kiribati, Tuvalu, Marshall Islands, and even the two Samoas.

      Neel why would you miss a shit hole like Fiji? - I was born in the late 80's there and lived all through the 90's. The place looks to have changed but the culture of socialism and welfare for the natives still exist. There are no real opportunities for Indians in Fiji. Our lives are far better in NZ, Australia, UK. Forget Fiji and move on. Btw did your family own Nair's Transport in Fiji? My family were the original founders of that Bussing company.

      Perfect Andrew, the same malls you find almost everywhere, even the names of shops and menus looks the same. If Macau Sidetracked wanted to prove how the World is being colonised by that same stupid way of living, then the video got a point. And Macau Sidetracked if you post something public you have to except other opinions. Posting a video is proposing a dialog, and a real dialog is about hearing the other, even (and maybe specially) if he disagrees with you.

      British Colonialism...they moved Indians from India to Fiji. I think it's something like 40% or more of the Fiji Islands is of Indian ethnicity.

      Abraham Tsfaye Indians came or rather were brought by British starting in 1880's as indentured labourers. They toiled & made the country economical. Rest you can read the history of Fiji Indians... Many have now emigrated to Australia, NZ, US, Canada

      The British bought the Indians becus they cudnt interfear with the indigenous way of life. American forcefully built their homes on our islands whch were burnt by the natives thus claiming that Fiji owed money to U.S goverment.
      So we asked Great Britain to pay the debt and at the same time ceded Fiji to her.
      Then history followed.
