This was very interesting to watch. My family is from Fiji, I was born and raised in America. Its funny when people ask Fijian Indians how they know hindi. Russel Peters literally has a joke where he says the only difference from his ancestors and ours is that his didnt get on the boat lol Fijian Indians have kept their culture alive and each generation has spoke to younger generations in hindi, tamil, telegu, or punjabi. Most of us speak fijian hindi which sounds a little more like urdu. Most of our ancestors are from UP, punjab or south india. Theres a lot of history and beauty in Fiji. Paramvir...those people who were brought to these islands from India practically did not have the options of going back because for 5 years they had to stay on this island working as labor and then if they decided to go back they had to bear the cost and find the way back home on their own. If they happen to stay back, they were being helped...
I used to speak Hindi happily. My mother tongues are Telugu and Kannada. Some of my friends from northern parts of India started making fun of Telugu and Kannada and they did it several times. According to them, only Hindi should be spoken in the country and all other languages should be prohibited to promote patriotism. Does it mean, if I speak Telugu or Kannada, I’m not a patriot??? Then onwards, I stopped speaking Hindi, though I love this language and even listen to old Hindi songs a lot. Every customer care service executive speaks Hindi. What happens to my South Indian people who can speak only their mother tongue? They’ll not get jobs. This is our south people’s pain.

Jai Shri krishna,
I am indian but i live in europ i want my lifepartner from fiji so that i know about this country i like it so much

What a soldier has said. I have left the fragrance of some Gajra behind, I have left my little bird chirping, Take me to your chest, O Mother India, I have left longing for my mother's arms. Love you Passenger Paramvir ❤️

Feels so happy ☺️ that they don't leave their culture and HINDUISM... ( during pressure by Christian)😊😊❤❤🎉🎉🎉
No pressure from Christians…they just practiced their religion.
We love the indian culture but have an islander way of life.

I am proud kannadiga. I speak hindi fluently. I respect all Indian language. Please note, hindi is not national language.
We all have our own regional languages and Hindi is not a national language But it should be.
Fiji Hindi is their national language. He wasn't talking about India!
Only Sanskrit is rashtra bhasa of Bharat❤❤
Not cheap Hindi.
@@akkistarofficialGo ahead and do that, see what happens.
@@PradhanmantriBruhh i dont see any issue with others regional language but we can have one language that is easy to understand on a common ground.
Hindi with other regional language could co exist.
And about Sanskrit as a National language, It's a very beautiful language and it can become national language but its implementation will take hundreds of years as it's a very tough language to understand.
He is No1 TH-camr in Telugu

@harsha2441 na bhai majak me log jyadatar bolte hai. Mere bhi kannada friend hai kai Sare lekin mai bhi majak udata hu unka kisi kanadda word ka funny lagta hai to vo bhi mere bhojpuri jo ki native language hai mera uska mjak udate hai.
Itni choti baato ko dil pe ni lena chahiye aisa koi ni sochta North me ki hindi hi bs bolna hai.
Hindi Jyadatar log bolte hai isliye hindi ham log prefer karte hai agar kahi bhr jate hai other state me to taki communication me dikkat na ho. Baki northindia me bhi bahot sari language boli jati hai jaise, haryanvi, punjabi, chattishgarhi, bengali, bhojpuri, and lots on.
