Trekcore updated their article with more pictures and as well more of the release order up to the 7th package. They'll be releasing in the following order: Titan-A, Stargazer, Farragut, XL Enterprise-F, standard Enterprise-F, Eleos XII, and then the Shrike. Ehrm, mm is correct. If that model was 180 cm, it would be as big as I am tall.
I was so happy when this was announced. I'm hoping that the line continues past 20 and they do go back to previous ships from eaglemoss, I've been wanting XL size Neg'Var for forever.
- Very disappointing that they, so far have not done a better job at refining the details, at least on the models that they've shown. Granted Fanhome literally has the same tools/machines that EM had.
- Hopefully what they are selling or revealed is just stock from EM and probably from Master Replicas, as it'd be nice if they could refine the models and as you pointed out the balancing of models on their stands/holders.
- I definitely will not get what they are offering, mostly because I don't like the revealed ships. I am interested in the Texas-class though but that's in the potential future.
I think unboxing videos would be GREAT.
The mm sizing is right, a ship being 200cm would be 6.5 feet.
I'm still purchasing hero ships from the OG collection... I now need an XL glass display cabinet.
Hope they'll delve into the older stuff too. Some of those XL hero ships are very expensive to pick up especially the TMP Enterprise

You got the measurements wrong it’s supposed to be millimetres if it was in centimetres they would be around 6ft long 😅

Licensing and manufacturing are not the same thing. The Eagle Moss models are actually produced by Hong Kong based Holinail Group from their Dongguan factory. So, very likely Fanhome just went back to them, easier than finding a new manufacturer and attempt to create a new production pipeline, working relationship, and negotiate pricing. Probably easier for CBS too since it is already a trusted manufacturer so they don't need to vet them for quality and other corporate things.
Unbox videos Please would enjoy this very much. As a console player I am a little frusturated with STO currently, but still love Star Trek so yes would love to see more model ships!!
It would be so nice if all fed ships also came with Motion Picture Necelle skins...

As someone who loves model ship like yourself, id love the new ships coming in. Im subing because it is slightly cheaper. Ya its still wxpensive in some cases but master replica had their ships siniar prices with the larger ships so its nothing new. Im just saving up to buy myself some goodies
The problem with the subscription is that I don't want a regular sized model and an XL of the same ship. They should offer an XL only subscription.
From what I can tell, certain model seem to only be available in XL sizes. I haven't seen anything about a standard size Enterprise-F, Voyager-A, or Protostar. The Constitution III seems to be the only one, and even then, the XL got the Enterprise-G name while the standard is Titan-A.
Edit: Nevermind, Trek Core says standard Enterprise-F will be the 5th in the collection and the XL will the fourth. So you're right, it is weird that you're force to buy both with the sub.
I really hope they eventually sell these internationally, It was enough of a pain to get some of the Eaglemoss models and they actually offered them in my country.
Like with the Eaglemoss collection, I hope we get other items on the site to purchase, like books, other dedication plaques etc oh and the older models would be advantageous as price gouging for some of them is way too extreme.

I've subbed for these, don't really care about the Shrike or the free gift USS Eaves, I'll prob sell those but hero ships are what I'm after (and no price gouging). I can see the flaws myself, including a missing delta on the Titan-A pennant. 11 of the 12 ships are gonna be keepers.
So if you had shown me this video 2 days ago, I would've been over the moon to finally get a model of the Sagan-class because I need it.
However, I've been seeing some people working on a model kit for the Sagan that is twice the size as Fanhome's model, has a full lighting kit, and has decals so I can potentially customize the name and registry to my ship in STO?
I might have to go for that one instead. But I still have a few months, so if all else fails, I'll still have the Fanhome Stargazer to look forward to. Either way, I'm getting a Sagan 😁😁
They need to go back to standard scale and rarely make special issues that is one thing that hurt eaglemoss
I had just started my EagleMoss collection when they just shut down. Now I will be able to get back to my collecting.
I understand they need to be more expensive, eaglemoss went bankrupt after all, but it's kind of a ridiculous jump. Big part of the appeal of eaglemoss stuff was they were very affordable for the quality, now it seems like that's kind of reversed
They're only about $10 more than the Eaglemoss counterparts. The part where it hurts is that they're not doing any models in the original 5.5 inch scale. The standard models all start in Eaglemoss' mid-range scale.

I think if you collected Eaglemoss models in the past, I think you got a good idea what you will be getting, unfortunately.
I really hope that Fanhome will have improved model detailing and QC.

Aren't these at least 3x more expesive than the original Eaglemoss ships at the same size? I know I bought some at $20 and some even less. I am not paying like $65 for something the same size and quality as what I used to get for $12-$20.
No, they're larger. They gave list of sized for the first several models on their side, which I went over in this video.
