sir link is not working
First of all thank you for giving us more clarification on deflection of beams .
But I have a question ,when x=o, how C2=0??, please check it at x=0, C2 is not equal to zero.
youre right!
so.. I was not wrong.
Since the beam is symmetric therefore the slope at either side of the beam extremities should be equal.
I guess the problem here is that, for taking the slope at left hand side reaction just the first part of slope equation should be considered..
Thought that too 😅
Sir where u come from.. I have never seen a single teacher as like you in my whole life from schooling to engineering.. It is clearly visible that how you teach the students in very much intrested way and your skills is awesome that make u different from others.. Thank u very much to teach complex and confusing topic of engineering in a easy and interested way..
Many times i am trying to understand this but never understand becz of feeling boring and a lot of confusions.. But today i have totally understand macaulay method and feeling proud and happy..
U haven't understand anything
At both ends the slope magnitude should be same because of symmetry but you are getting different value sir.
I too have the same doubt
you are right. but sir didn't neglect the Macaulay's function when found the maximum slope in point A(x=0). that's why values are change
SLOPE AT A AND B SHOULD BE WL^2/16EI.
NOT SLOPE AT A IS 3WL^2/16EI AND SLOPE AT B IS WL^2/16EI.

Bro he has made a mistake in plus minus
1/EI (WL^2/16- WL^2/16)=-WL^2/16EI
You are right. He shouldn't have included (x-l/2)^2 term when x
How C2 becomes zero... y u r neglecting remaining parts as zero when u r applying BC
@@HS-fw6ij Corrct broo
@@HS-fw6ijappreciated your answer, but by the time this guy who asked the question at first place might had completed his engineering😂
@@myself-shada6594😂😂
sir,Slope at A and B should be equal in magnitude(by symmmetry)?? plz rply.
Slope at end are always Equal but change in sign then how slope at A become = -3WL²/16EI ???
In general Slope at ends are always WL²/16EI in simple supported beam at load in the center
When you put X=0, Y=0 at that time you neglect the second step of the equation but when you put X=L, Y=0 at that time you did not neglect why sir?
because second step for second section only and first section is valid for 1st section only
Sir your videos are extremely helpful...
But I want to give my humble suggestion please edit videos before uploading..i am playing with 1.5x speed and it feels normal...make it little faster so duration will be less.....no offense and lots of thanks for making things easier
Thanku Zafar sir... I like your explanation.... It helps me alot

C2 is not =0 , C2=-w/48 *L^3
are mulle man ja
u missed (1/EI) in deflection
Yeah...in Max deflection...
Nice Sir!
good video...........helpful for us........
but i'm having problem at slope 'a'
Well explained sir!!!
Thank You Sir a lot
if length becomes 2L and one end is load is W on length L and other load is on 2L
so how to solve this problem sir.
very helpful video thanks sir..!!
Thank You, Sir! You really help me a lot
kitni back lgi teri ?
What is the difference between double integration and mackolay's method
Thank you so much professor.
beautifully explained,
Thank u sir.... 👌👌👌bahut hi badiya smjaya .😊😊😊
cantilever, beam overhanging cantilever beam for calculating slope,deflection... problem s plz upload ......
sir in the right hand side of the equation we integrate each term with respect to what?
Good explanation, easy to understand
Sir,Would u tell me How the value of C1 comes to 0?
28:48 Wtf is going on. This is an engineering subject.
Then get lost u bloodyfool person.. It is for our better understanding to help students their concepts strong step by step.. If we missed any petty value.. So that will become a big problem for us to finding the mistake in whole solution.. Becz this method wants practice and concentration to every steps clearly... If you are a genious then do your own studies and no need to watching videos here...

Fantastic
At slope equation while putting x=0 for max slope. You forgot to multiply(-) sign.
thankyou sir
I have found that where he has commited the mistake. in order to calculating the slope at A SHOULD not consider the full equation only should have to consider upto C1 in the slope equation then only slope will be equal to A AND B. please kindly verify this one.
Thank you

Same doubt
But if we consider upto C1,we will be getting same values of slope but the sign is opposite.. please clear my doubt..
@@perfectmaster9 yes the signs will not be the same meaning that we should not consider the first section till C1
@@naveedladha4211 Thanks..
In this problem the given beam is symmetric. when the bean is symmetric means slope at A will be equal to slope at B. BUT here in this problem the answer for slope at A is not equal to slope at B. HOW IT IS CORRECT??
COULD YOU PLEASE CLEAR MY DOUBT?

Venkatesh janakiraman slope at a and b are same as the load is symmetric...he has done a mistake in calculations...!!
Yes you're right the slope should be same for both A and B but at A slope will be positive and and at B slope is negative
Good video
Why it is (x-L/2 )² in the eqn 1 here L is a const then why r u squaring it ...??
Thanks sir ....
Sir in which case section is take in right hand side direction
Helpful sir

Hello sir...While ur teaching 3 page it must be w/2 but why u wrote only w..
The method that has bee used to find the deflection of slopes, is wrong as the brackets behave as unit step function according to macaulay, but you have just neglected the brackets while calculating slope and deflection, whereas while applying boundary condtn used it
sir while finding c1 you have neglected the second part of deflection equation while in finding c2 you concluded it.. please explain this
yes sir.... c2 is not zero....
mISTAKE WHEN CALCULATION MAXIMUM SLOPE
SIGN MISTAKE
When every thing is symmetry then why slope at A and B is different
more problem should be taken on different type of beam..................
Is this problems use ful for gate
Why are you not considering the support reaction at B, while taking moment about the section X-X ??
Only we take one side ie, left side or right side
At 25:40 finding the slope eqn at A he clearly forgot to multiply by
-1/EI
Correct me If I am wrong pls
Phir kya hua ..agar itna smja h to Ye to aap bhi lga skte ho.....🙏🙏🙏
error in calculation at 17:58 if we move C1L to the other side it becomes negative changing the equation

look at all those ADS
how slopes at A and at B can be differente since the beam is loaded symmetrically?
Sir, can give me all lecture note please....?
sir how we can downlaod notes of these chapters
Wrong answer for slope at A.
Why do you always take direct steps?
?
Sir why are you taken c2 =0 ?
36 min may ek qustion sahi hai 😂😂
Can anybody tell me the significance of '-ve' sign?
-ve = negative
that's your question?
it means negative sign
C1=wl3/36
Grateful to you for bringing an error to our notice and helping us by giving us an opportunity to alter it to a correct one soon.
Sir second section ko consider kyu nahi karege
When I put only right ear bud your voice was not audible
Explain derivations sir
How -1/EI disappeared....explain plz...
I was looking for it too...
Sir please please please please don't speak from just on side of the mike. It becomes impossible to listen to you after 30 mins as only one ear starts paining.
c2 is not zero here !!!
Kind attention C2 is not zero when you apply BC : x=0 , y=0
It's C2 = (WL^3)/48
It is zero
Value of C2 is not 0
Y c2 = 0 ????
wrong at 13:40
Too much "hence" and "therefore". Please revise your script and also don't give wrong information about such technical subject. It may cause damage. I found lot of things worng in this video. Correct it in time

Blunder Mistake.
Teaching wrong concepts should be removed ,it makes confusion for students
16:10 it's (8)^3 but you multiplied, 6*8 instead of, 6*(8) ^3 ...
