As long as tracks aren’t to tight it’ll get you where u wanna go. It’s surprisingly how well they work on a side by side jeep or truck.. that’s awesome that you got a set and can make more progress.
Definitely need something a little better with the lights, think I'm gonna put a light bar up top. Definitely got cold this week but it's not to bad in the cab
Good Morning! A friend has tracks on his SXS. I was surprised that they don't float on top better than they do, but they give you a LOT more traction! Get some synthetic winch rope, and a come along though. Even with a winch in the front. you can get stuck bad! you kind on need to go backwards.... We did get stuck....lots of digging! It really wasn't a lot of fun.....
I made a hitch deal slides in the receiver about 3 ft long I come a long my sled so track is off ground put a bungee on the steering 2 keep skis straight. U break down way back let sled down and ride back don't go far without it
@@lobopropredatorcontrol easy 2 make a piece 2x2 just let tailgate down.measure out from the receiver so it clears come up 5 ft or so because the come along uses some brace the bracket at the 90 hook the come along hook in the rear bumper of sled crank it up till track is off the snow bungee the steering straight don't even no it's back there. Did find out this last spring you don't want them to get to loose either, lost a rear track turning to sharp on dried ground
No sir to loose to tight is a bad day for sure!
@rallysport4207 was shocked when I looked where I just was and the track was sitting there lol. Was loading it up on the trailer
What a rich life to live, I’m happy for you.
Had to sale my Tacoma to buy it and sometimes wonder if I shouldn't have kept the little pickup 🤔 😅
@@lobopropredatorcontrol oh man, tough decision, I’ve been there before. A man ALWAYS needs a pickup!
Great video, good to see videos from home!
I want to head back up to the cabin
I won't be back till the last week of April
@@ToddCliftUSMC just in time for bear season
YES SIR!@@lobopropredatorcontrol
You have a lot more snow than I have up here. The General with tracks handles it well. Have a good day Brother!
It's sure melting fast down here now
Man that machine is awesome. Went through that drift like it wasn’t even there. Looks like trapping season just got better for ya. 👍👍
I had it last winter and have been impressed overall but the fuel mileage sure goes down with the tracks
Awesome machine I can see where that would be a very handy tool you can get back into places that other people can't when the snow gets deep😊
It's been working pretty well the last two winters, I did blow the clutch on it this past summer though
Ol Willie is a natural on camera lol. I think he's riding in the middle where the heater vents all hit him 😂
I bet he bites your boot when you come back up
That's is a good way to stay warm on the trap line
I'm hoping to put a hard top on it, the soft top is still pretty drafty
They are worth every last penny , I have them on my ranger running in 3 feet of fresh powder !
I'm very impressed, this is my second season with them and it's unreal how well they float. Did have to get a new clutch though
Headlights need wipers lol. Hope you’re staying warm that’s a lot of snow.

The tracks are Awesome , have a set for our Gator , just not much snow over here this year.
It's melting fast here now
Very cool footage!
Thank you very much!

So far I haven't got stuck but I can imagine it's a job digging one out, if the snow is that deep ill take my snowmobile
Wow , what a nice rig.
It works pretty well, the family all fits too witch is great
Looks like fun to me, brother.! Dogs love it LMAO
I actually have to chase that pup to get him loaded up in it, started giving him a treat every time and he is getting better

I've been thinking about buying skies to ski back when I break down. Never thought about carrying a sled

Very impressive machine, I think I should have one. 😅
I really like a snowmobile too but I can haul more gear with this and take the dogs along. Thing is a little thirsty though
Ya bro side by side and tracks are deadly
I've been impressed
Hey man cool video. Any chance you know the overall width of the machine with the tracks on? That would be super helpful to me. Thanks in advance.
Hell yesszzss those work well for ya !
Need to figure out the lighting and build a box for the back, it really throws snow but other than that it's been working great
Someday ill get me a snow machine. What's your preference? A side by side with tracks or a snow mobile? Or do they serve for different purposes?
It's a capable mobile.
For sure, I've been impressed

20 in. Light bar will make a big difference
Gonna be getting something real soon, seems I'm out at night more than day. Would you mount it right above the windshield or clear on top?

You need one of them little Chinese diesel heaters
Never heard of them, they work good?
@@lobopropredatorcontrol From my understanding they are pretty darn good and don't use to much fuel either
Too dang cold to do that at night!
Seems I'm always out in the dark
