big thanks man, was able to get it back up and running after installing a second nvme ssd and then running through your steps. however my og ssd is still not showing up, and what are the chances of this same issue happening again on this new drive

Hi, I have a Lenovo legion laptop that powers on, you can hear windows boot up but there's no video. Can I get some info on how to contact you guys?

I purchased an omen desktop with a WD ssd and I have the same issue can you help ? When I boot the installation it doesn't see the drive but I can see it with other tool in disk manager

My Omen just had the exact same issue and I just couldn't fix it, so I ordered a new SSD drive and see how it goes

UPDATE: Yup, it was the octane drive. Installed the new one, reinstalled windows and problem solved

I don’t see the UEFI options am I supposed to press something to see them? They’re not on that menu

On mine the nvidia doesn't work anymore ive tried a bunch of different ways but still nothing im still getting error 43 in windows 😢😢

I have an omen 17 practically brand new, I cloned everything to a bigger SSD and have them both installed on the motherboard, I cant change the boot to the new SSD, it always selects the old one, and when I uninstall the old one it doesn't boot up anymore

Newer laptops might have something called "intel optane" this is a RAID configuration. If you cloned this, it wouldn't boot properly. Check the bios to see if it is in "Raid" mode or shows something called VMD. Worst case is you would have to reinstall the os again on the new drive but put it in AHCI mode

@@lapfix right now I'm trying to copy the EFI over manually using the boot command prompt since I'm switching from a 512 to a 4k drive and cloning programs other then Casper 11 cant, to see if it'll show up on the boot menu. I'll look into that next if this cloned partition doesn't work

@lapfix I'm not super technologically literate so you may have to dumb down VMD and AHCI,
Also the new bios has no RAID or VMD settings.
