Ron's delivery of "I wanna punch you in the face so bad right now" right after Jean Ralphio leaves will always be an underrated moment of comedy genius

Jean Ralphio is one of the best characters in sitcom history. It was Kramer adjacent imo. Their entrances are scene stealing and over the top and usually hysterically funny. Brilliant writing and acting/improv. Ben Schwartz is underrated.
Meta comment for this video's editor: The transition from 1:06-1:18 was flawless. For a minute I didn't notice those were completely different episodes. And the edit still made me laugh.
One of my favorite underrated jokes of this show is how certain characters just pop up out of nowhere. Jean-Ralphio did it all the time but Chris did it a few times too.

One of my favorite details about this show is how deep the characters are and how they therefore have such different dynamics with each other. Donna and Jean-Ralphio are one such example; knowing what we know about Donna on the surface-superficial, obsessed with appearance, etc-she seems like the perfect match for Jean-Ralphio. But we know so much more about her, so it makes perfect sense that she would hate him.

I can't understand why I love Jean Ralphio so much. He really is THE WORST. Yet I can't stop smiling every time he crashes into a scene....
Because you have empathy for all the characters that have to deal with him, but find it hilarious.
Because he is a comic relief. You don’t have to deal with him while the characters do.
Good acting
it's easier to like villain characters when you've never met anyone like that person in real life. I have never met anyone even close to JRS myself.
Exactly, I hate to love him... But I do. Taji ka - STAN!!
