I'm very scared that my machines and fabric will be ruined with the extreme weather we have in New Jersey. I cannot create any permanent walls so I'd love to know what you use for the heating and cooling and do you have any issues with moisture? Again thanks for the tour!
Hi Lisa. I'm just in the shower process of setting up a craft room in our spare bedroom. I definitely like the island. Not sure how big I should make it... My sister, Pam Mould, told me to check out your channel. My husband and I live in Union. I have never heard of sublimation so I'll investigate that. Thanks for the tour.
Love this! I have a garage workshop for my wood working but would love to section it off and do crafts on one side. Any advice for spiders and mice or any other insects that like to hang out in garages?
It is 26ft by 16ft. The closet in the back behind the barn doors is 6ft x 16ft and included in the overall sq footage. I feel lucky to have been able to convert one of our garage bays.
I am getting ready to redo my single car garage to make a quilting studio. The walls are already finished so I will only be able to add insulation to the attic and the garage door. Any suggestions?

This is one bay of a three bay garage. We built a wall to block off the other two bays. I love it!

We put in a mini spilt for heat and air. It has worked out great!

I made sure that we had lots of caulking and weather stripping and so far I have not had any issues.

Are you adding a heat source? Make sure to add a vapor barrier under your flooring if you are laying flooring over cement.
