I don't know what those things are on the workbenches, but I love this room and wall! Clean look and organized. No "stuff" on display on bookshelves. I got on of the Husky for my sewing table; love them
YES!!! That's exactly what we thought when we saw every other TH-camr's background. So much unnecessary clutter. LOVE our Huskys! Great choice for your sewing table. Thanks so much for watching! Love your TH-cam handle :-)
0:54 and already my envy is off the scale! Don't take it as a personal envy, just the absolute dream of grandiose space, a view, and room to set up whatever makes your heart content. I am sure you worked hard to get there, so all the best and I absolutley want updates at least every month! 💝 PS I count on it!!!
Genius! Thank God for Great Husbands with amazing advise! Very Sweet of your brother too to help out. It came out beautiful! Love the White Husky's Tool Drawers. God Bless!
Best craft room on TH-cam in my opinion especially because I love the work benchs, I went with the blue ones because the white was on back order for months. Awesome room!❤
That's no shed - that's like a penthouse suite at Four Seasons! Great idea to use workbenches, I never thought of that. I may steal my boyfriend's Husky LOL
I have used a tool box for many years now. I love it. When I bought mine, there wasn’t any other colors to choose from. So I spray painted it turquoise. It is still holding up. I love the extension table option. I wish that was available back when I got mine.
Your craft room typically requires a lot of storage space for all the supplies and materials. Here are some ideas for organizing a craft room: Shelving: Install shelving units on the walls to store supplies, tools, and materials. You can also use floating shelves for smaller items. Cabinets: Add cabinets to the craft room for additional storage. Choose cabinets with doors to keep supplies out of sight. Drawers: Install drawers under the work surface or in a cabinet for additional storage space. You can use drawer organizers to keep supplies organized. Bins and baskets: Use bins and baskets to store smaller items like buttons, ribbons, and glitter. Label each bin or basket so you can easily find what you need. Pegboards: Install pegboards on the walls to store tools and supplies. Use hooks, bins, and baskets to hang items from the pegboard. Carts: Use rolling carts to store supplies and tools. You can easily move the carts around the room as needed. Storage furniture: Consider purchasing storage furniture specifically designed for a craft room. This can include armoires, desks with built-in storage, and storage ottomans. It's important to choose storage solutions that fit your needs and the items you have to store. Take stock of your supplies and tools and choose storage solutions that can accommodate them.
Honey let me tell you I absolutely love your craft room. It laid out so well and who would have thought to use tool chest. Oh my goodness I'm super jealous.
Thank you so much! It was all Fresh's idea to start. He's clever like that. It's turned out to be a very cool place to work. I love how organized it is and I'm able to keep it that way. 🙂
Absolutely love your new room! I used Seville Classics from Sam’s for my studio. They have to be put together but I did that myself and love having closed off areas when I’m done. My studio is also my living room and dining room so it offers me flexibility and I hate seeing everything out. You have made me wish I had some Husky systems but there is always room for more in the garage! Thanks for sharing. You’re have the smartest craft room ever. Enjoy! 🎉
Best make over that I've ever seen. Had the same idea for the tool work benches from Home Depot. Just love the way you think. The lighting looks to be great as well.😃
I have been planning to get a Husky workbench for my space for a couple of years now!! It’s nice to see them in action. I’m also glad to see they sometimes go on sale! 😅 Just a few more months, I hope, until my space is ready! 🎉
I don’t have a separate room for my craft space but I do share the garage with my handy father. I may or may not have taken over one side of it where his beautiful Husky workbenches are. 😂 one manually goes up and down, I use this for my desk/craft bench/self nail salon. I’m am rapidly out growing the stolen space but my father is so graceful and hasn’t said anything to me about it. I’m his baby girl and he loves to see me in my element making cool stuff. The husky benches are perfect for crafting and you shouldn’t ever need another bench in your life lol ❤
Lots of great ideas! I too have my craft room in our above the garage bonus room. We have to use it as a guest bedroom too though, but I’m trying to figure out a way to work around the bed being in my way. I would love to just remove it and add an island in that space instead. I found your video most inspiring! Thanks for the nice detailed video ❤oh! Pegboard system in drawers!….that’s genius 🙌🏻💕
How fantastic never would have even thought of using the huskys for a craft room. The only thing is they seem to get a little stuck prior to pulling them out, is that an issue for you? tfs
They look great, they're on wheels, they come pre-assembled, and they store a LOT! The drawers do have a little stickiness when opening them, but you get used to it. It's probably the soft-close spring that's pretty tight.
Of course with such a large room, you don't need to go vertical; but shelves, boards, etc. can make a room very "warm". This is the only thing I have to say about a perfect layout.
Am I the only one that was having audio issues? At different spots that sounded like you were talking into a pillow. I love the husky drawers! I've already decided that's exactly what I'm doing in my next craft room.
What kind of glitter do you use ? The ones in glass jars? I recently became an empty nester. And decided to turn one of my big 21x23 ‘ bedroom into my craft room. I love the tool bench idea. I purchased a big 41” pink one. Excellent idea!!!
Hi, I saw this video and love your room. You are so lucky. Can you advise where you got your Balck chair by your Husky Table? Can you advise how High does it go? Hope to hear from you.
Thank you. The chair is from Amazon (amzn.to/3Dg8qw8 - affiliate link). It's the Primy Drafting Chair Tall Office Chair with Flip-up Armrests. It can go as low as 20 inches and high as 28 inches. Hope this helps.
Great video! A great alternative to the craft stores are the hardware store I think we sleep on those kind of stores since they are catered to men however they have many great things for crafters and diyers
Thank you. 😊 We hired movers and luckily they were young and strong. They actually flipped them upside down and pushed them up the stairs pretty easily. Better them than me. 😂🤣
I love the workbench idea…. Silly question… you mentioned 2nd floor… how hard was it getting all of them up there? Are they one piece or have to build? My craft area is on 2nd floor - older home with long fairly narrow stairway and basically 90 degree turn at top to get into the room. Loooove your space - also love the idea of the thread spool storage!
Thanks! It's really working out well for us. We had movers get them upstairs. They don't come apart - they are one piece. The movers flipped them over and pushed them up the carpeted stairs on the wood tops and then flipped them once they got them upstairs. It took 3 young guys to make it happen.
@@craftwithfelicia oh well I’m out lol..I have old wood stairs and no 3 young men to help lol. Nor would that many people fit on or at the top of the staircase at once lol.

So true on putting them together. With these, I was up and ready to go. Love them!
EXACTLY what I thought! Plus Ikea stuff falls apart after about a year.
I too have Husky two darwer table. I do not have an Ikea store and I am one to have to visualize before I buy. I use my tabel for sewing.

OMG. This must have cost a fortune. 6 tool chests at $500 a piece!
We priced out several options including IKEA and DreamBox. This was actually the better choice for us.
Nice room! Thanks for sharing the room dimensions - so many videos don't. Loved the in-drawer pegboard for hidden sewing thread spools - so tidy!!!! I just wish the music was quieter - had to mute audio. tfs!
Thanks for watching and for the feedback. 🙂
I LOVE the music! Get into the 90s girl!
I thought the music was just right. Have you checked your surround sound settings? Sometimes they over-emphasize music.
Those huskies are like 350 a piece so this isn't very economically friendly
We priced out Ikea furniture for this room and it was WAY more expensive than the Huskies. These work for us. To each his own.
400 each for back wall and 650 each middle. $3,000 total not including tax. I wish
We priced IKEA and we were shocked it cost way more - $4800 for a setup that wasn’t as functional as this.
Would have liked to watch but music was too loud and distracting.
Thanks for the feedback.
I know this video is old but…. Can I borrow your brother 😅
