Dishes, develop a working plan, beginning with a sink full of water just as you begin cooking. As you empty a bowl, wash it while you saute or sear, or boil parts of dinner. If you do the clean up as you go along. Life stays simple. Our Oily House shows you how to make laundry soap and dish soap. She keeps life very simple.💚💚💚

I've been working on taking care of myself which I'm terrible at. I always take care of everyone else. Time to learn to fill my own cup. I don't have a dishwasher either. My sink is rarely empty
What I do is cut greens with scissors but leave the roots and one or two leaves. Water and usually the plant will regrow. Four years ago my neighbor planted Kale. Could not pull out the roots end of season. Those roots provided us Kale for three years.

I tried out my raw honey as a mask the other day and was surprised how soft my skin got. I had been bummed that I had run out of my favorite store bought mask. But the honey solved it : D I´d like to try egg white hair mask soon. whip up 3 egg whites and put in damp hair for 10 minutes then rinse with shampoo. The wild flowers sound great! Ha it´s becomes so visible that children up to year seven are about copying the adults around them in their actions. That´s how they make sense and learn form their environment right. And since you both are so action based around him he gets lots of inspiration : )

my monthly hair mask for years isssss , egg yolk aloe vera and olive oil mixed together, add a little bit of water to make it more runny for easy apply. (do not put coconut oil in your hair) another great tip is sleeping with a bonnet, has does wonders for my hair which is very similar to yours. hope this reaches you!

I’m so glad you’re gaining some independent with the new shower set up! I will say though… it is normal as a mom to have to ask for help in order to shower 🤣 with 3 kids, I still have to plan them out when my husband is around. So, you’re not alone!
Oh my goodness, what a gorgeous shower set-up! When you first had it supported by the stones, I was a little confused, but as with everything you do, it made perfect sense once complete :) Can’t believe how much Max is talking - he’s going to have his own little segments before we know it 🚜

I use brown sugar with my regular face cleanser as a scrub and I'm sure it would work as a body scrub, too. I start with about a teaspoon of sugar, and add a smaller than usual amount of the cleanser (I have been using Aquanil for years) so the sugar doesn't completely dissolve. It works great. I like the coffee grounds idea. It would probably work great where you are but I'm not sure about letting it go down the shower drain in my plumbing situation.

Sealing off the bottom of your containers to the ground would make them warmer in the cold & last longer (the floor sections are notoriously rusty)

it's water from our well - we have a water tank under the wall tent :) - Dana
