Command & Conquer: Generals is a real-time strategy video game and the seventh installment in the Command & Conquer series.
It was released for Microsoft Windows and Mac OS operating systems in 2003 and 2004. While the Windows version of Generals was developed by EA Pacific and published by EA Games, the Mac OS X version was developed and published by Aspyr Media. The Mac OS X version was re-released by Aspyr for the Mac App Store on March 12, 2015.
In the game, the player can choose from three different factions: the United States, China and the Global Liberation Army (GLA). Generals utilizes SAGE (Strategy Action Game Engine), an extended version of the Command & Conquer: Renegade's 3D engine. An expansion pack, entitled Command & Conquer: Generals - Zero Hour, was additionally released for PC in 2003, and for Mac OS in 2005.
Both Generals and Zero Hour were met with highly positive reviews. A sequel, Command & Conquer: Generals 2, was in development, until it was repurposed to a free-to-play game known as simply Command & Conquer. The new game was part of the Generals franchise and was cancelled on October 29, 2013 by EA after negative feedback during the closed alpha test.

My main gripe with the challenge mode is that you start with little supplies.... But I guess that is part of the challenge so to speak

He had two nukes in the same spot. Have you tried taking out his power plants and supply depots first?

All power plants need to be eliminated to stop it.

@@zoom3000 To stop the second Nuke? I figured it was because he built two in the same spot. My idea of taking out all the power plants is that it takes out some of his base defenses, as well as slowing down his training of units and stops whatever nuke is there from being made or launching

Is there a way I can get this? It's been a while since I've last played this game. And I also wanna try out the Rise of the Reds mod sometime.

this was the ugliest Command and Conquer ....slowmotion game.. yuk ...

I think that's cause of all of China's heavy tanks. Oddly still quicker than his other matches. You know, the ones that last over an hour

I refer to the game its self..the way the tanks shoot ..move ..game mechanics..feel slowmo

no m8..have a look at..Red Alert...Red Alert 2 ..the game feels alright even at medium speedgame.. here units feel like theu r running on the moon :)))

@@83glacius That's cause he turns the game speed up for Red Alert. I don't think Generals had a game speed setting. The switch will make you nauseous. Have you seen Red Alert when it's on the default speed?

Here's some trick: Use battlemaster tank to act as meat shields, Nuke Cannon to bombard ECM tank and defenses. Then, Overlord tank will mob up the rest.
