Such idiocy of the officials to allow Shunt to get away with self-righting Chompalot. The latter clearly couldn't self-right on its own, therefore should've been counted out by Refbot. By that logic, the judges should've overruled Behemoth's immobilisation and given it the win. Misguided attack my dick; it was blatant unfair assistance.
@@joeandrews7329 Yeah, _after_ the point in which it should’ve been counted out and not righted by a House Robot when Chompalot wasn’t in a CPZ. Your point?
My god Behemoth were screwed in this episode. Not only did Shunt right Chompalot, but then Shunt constantly attacked Behemoth even though they weren't in the CPZ'd. I know it's just meant to be a bit of fun, but when the House Robots/Producers are deciding who wins it just ruins the show for me.
F^%&%ing Shunt should be permanently banned from the arena. First it puts Chompalot back on its feet then it hammers Behemoth. Behemoth weren't defeated by Chompalot, they were backstabbed by Shunt. I have nothing against Chompalot, I just hate it when a battle is decided by the house robots. Points to Chompalot for pitting Behemoth so the house thugs couldn't wreck it any further.
Chompalot did really well, their clash with Behemoth is questionable but it's clear that the producers wanted more of a fight out of them, but saying that even when Behemoth did get out of the corner Shunt was still attacking them, well if it's anything to go by they did do a rematch for Roaming Robots in 2005 and not spoiling what's happens for anyone who hasn't seen it but that is a pretty good fight.
It doesn't matter if the producers weren't satisfied. Behemoth landed Chompalot in an immobile predicament, and the latter should've been counted out and not righted by either Refbot or any of the House Robots, as that is blatant unfair assistance that the officials were foolish to allow here. I wish roboteering wasn't treated like it was professional wrestling when it's not. It's actual competition, therefore it should be treated as such and not rigged at the potential expense of competitors who deserve to win.
Ryan O'Donovan I'm not saying I agreed with what the producers did, but we can see that they wanted it to carry on longer and I do agree with you that they shouldn't have interfered with the fight. But unfortunately that was their mindset at the time, not seeing it as a competition.
Ryan O'Donovan yeah the ass holes did it because they saw Storm 2 as another box on wheels that didn't use its weapon (which they did use in most of their fights) but that machine made some of the most entertaining moments of Series 7.
@@smithyblue And regarding Storm 2, the producers had it out for them the most, yet showed that their own logic of only wanting robots they considered entertaining wasn't even consistent. Storm 2 had done what the producers wanted by having a lifting arm (which they _did_ make use of and not just use its existence as a pass) - why couldn't the officials just leave them alone after that? And with its ramming power alone, it took that kind of attack to the next level. For fuck's sake, it got an opponent out of the arena that way without even lifting it! How was that not entertaining enough by the producers' standards?
I guess the producers wanted Chompalot to be flipped back over so they could get more fottage for the episode. Didn't look like the self righter wanted to cooperate. Chompalot had a good fight with Pussycat.
@Trapster2 because there would be some bs about how it was sexist to put women against only women. and how they could compete against men just as well. The usual drivel about destroying something that would help get more women into the industry but is somehow hurtful to women.
Man, so many robots died simply because of the safety link falling out. I really think that was something that needed some kind of revision, maybe an internal remote kill switch? Or pause the match and plug it back in? Idk, I feel like it made for some disappointing turnouts... don't know what a possible solution would look like, though.

What the hell was that oversized junkpile Psycho doing out of its corner? It kept getting in the way of the real competitors, and all for what? To screw around with the result of fights? And Shunt illegally righting Chompalot. And then attacking Behemoth - that should have resulted in immediate disqualification for Chompalot and permanent banning of Shunt, if there were any rules to this. I stopped watching at that point, don't care who wins, as far as I'm concerned the whole thing is invalid, ruined by the house robots.
i got a feeling the driver of bulldozer in the second round didn't know how to control it. most of the time that robot just spinned around and went backwards. even backing up into the refbot.
Throughout most of the pussycat/cat 3 fight pussycat kept heading towards cat 3 and then turning away and backing towards it just before their spinning blade hit it. Pussycat could have ended the fight much sooner and could have absolutely demolished cat 3 if they had just kept hitting it with their front instead of their back.
