Always loved Panic Attack, always looked good and had a really good driver who proved that winning a fight doesn't always depend on the quality of your robot. This was by far the best version of all the five that were built
Panic attack was our great fav. Used to watch this in the late nineties and de years zero every sundaymorning with my son. Great times

This was always one of my favourites!
Panic Attack after series 3 just became inefficient in design. It won the championship in Series 2 because of its reliability and maneuverability rather than weaponry. Since then Kim had confined his modifications to Panic Attack within some minor adjustments and did not show significant improvement on weaponry or maneuverability whatsoever (matter of fact it became even worse), resulting in it being terribly outdated by its counterparts in the later series, solely relying on Kim Davis' experience and excellent driving skills to maintain a relatively good position.

@@DeathlessHaze Well robots today fight more civically than they were back in the old RW era, in which you can see Hypno Disc literally turning robots into junkyard scraps. I guess Carbide would probably stop attacking after immobilizing PA.
@@leoli6116 Hmm...That's actually a fair point Leo. Imagine if Hypnodisk, Aftershock, Carbide, Nuts 2, and PP3D were on the same team, lol nobody would beat them XD

Series 5 was Panic Attack’s last half decent tournament. 2 heat exits and some heavy beating in the specials would follow.
This was the beginning of the end for Panic Attack really. They won series 2 and went out on what were in my opinion questionable judges decisions in the semis of series 3 and 4. But in this semi final they were the clear losers against Pussycat and after failing to reach the semi final second round this series it was all downhill from there.
John James Lincoln agree with everything except the series 3 semi. I’ve just rewatched it and I thought Firestorm deserved to win. Panic Attack’s control was atrocious in that fight driving into the CPZ’s multiple times. Agree with series 4, I was stunned when Stinger got the win and so were the crowd as they booed it. Chances are though Chaos 2 would have beaten PA a lot easier than it did Stinger. And then yeah Pussycat were easy winners in S5 and it was all downhill from there
Gee, I wonder what happened against Pussycat. It didn't look very well controlled.
There was a loose screw grinding against the aerial causing intermittent faults with the robot as a result it was not 100%

The UK robots suck panic attack didn't even get a hit on frenzy in BattleBots

Panic Attack was suffering from radio interference in that battle.
