Autopsy-turvy!!! That was the name of my radio program at Pathology school! I talked about incorrect cuts of tissue for 12 minutes, in the middle of the night, Thursdays, in 1987.
Christopher Volz, 39, of 86 Lancaster Estates, Mount Joy, was charged with simple assault and intimidation of witnesses after he allegedly assaulted a woman and did not allow her to leave his home Dec. 25.
Autopsy Turvy is a pretty good name too. I checked, there was a band by that name in Potsdam, New York in 2015. They have a demo on BandCamp which is coincidentally called "flawed".
Grinderswitch is a Southern Rock band, which formed in the early 1970's, they recorded 7 albums between 1974 and 1981, and got back together to record one more in 2005. Abracadaver was a metal band in Presque Isle, Maine, they may still exist, there's a demo on BandCamp from 2012. Can't find a reference to anything with the names Blood Barrier or Mine Corpse.
Man, I bought Flaw's first album on my last day of enlistment out of the Marines. I practically listened to the album the whole trip home from San Diego to Tacoma. I hadn't heard anything from them since, till today.
Sparky's Joint they have 2 albums after. Endangered Species released in 2004 and Divided We Fall in 2016. Both are fantastic albums. Also check out the band Five.Bolt.Main. It is a side project Volz did in 2005.
+ Agent Fungus Bottles for Champagne are special. They are thicker to resist the inside pressure, but this one might have been fake? I'm not sure...Lol!
gatekeeper65 only on ships. But they also swing the bottle from 180 away and line it up so that the side of the bottle hits it. Steve was doing it wrong lol.
Have loved this band for years now. Whole, Best I Can and of course PAYBACK! Awesome to see them get some national spotlight. Before the conclusion of this gag, MY LIFE WAS JUST NOT WHOLE!🤘
A friend at work turned me on to these guys. Saw them in Madison a couple years back and they hung out with everyone at the bar before the show. Through the Eyes is a great album. They deserve to be much bigger than they are.
How did Stephen even find Flaw out... this is one of the most underrated unknown bands ever. Flaw, Cold & Stabbing Westward (The Dreaming) .. these are the most underrated bands in U.S.
Oh man, this had me damn near in tears. Hilarious! I remember the first time he brought up Flaw on the show and thinking, "wow, I haven't heard that name i over a decade! They weren't even that well known back when nu metal was the thing." Can't believe he continued to follow up on this. Hilarious bit. Great comments below as well. Great way to start the day when you are stuck working OT at 4 am on a Saturday.
Everybody complaining that the van was so terrible or that he really hurt it by hitting the hood where he did should step out of their palaces for a minute and experience the real world. These guys probably have to pool their money to buy a pizza and I didn't see them complaining, but rather laughing. Besides, it's $15,000 worth of van - they can always sell it and buy something else.
Some of us couldn't stand them being humiliated on national TV and made fun of like that. Colbert was very close to the line between making jokes and making fun of them.
My comment wasn't about the way they were treated, but the condition of the van. I drive a Sprinter van for a living and they just end up looking like that.
@@Uouttooo No, they didn't. You're stupid, man. Who are you? A psychologist? You can see from their body language that they were chill about it. They got a van, many new things, free publicity and others. I didn't see them being humiliated. rather, they looked like the sane guys who simply watched as the crazy funny guy does his thing without hurting them. Get your snowflake ass out more, there are many things to feel upset rather than this problem which is nothing to feel upset about.
Chill out about the van, folks. That is what $15000 Will get you in terms of vans, and as a means of transporting their equipment, it is pretty decent. Plus, since they didn't have to pay for it with their crowd-sourced funds, they may also have gotten a nice passenger van for their money too. And the people freaking out about the cat...a) they looked like pretty cuddly nu-metal musicians to me, unlikely to hurt a cat or keep it looked in the back of a van; b) do you think they got to keep the 'tour mom' too? Calm down, it's a joke.
Agreed. Did people not see a couple of the band members going aww~ behind Colbert? I’m pretty sure they’ll do right by the cat, assuming they even took it in the first place.
Glad to see Flaw back at it! The new album is the one I've been waiting for. Been a fan since Ozzfest. Also seen them open for Life of Agony in Pittsburgh.
Thank you very much Stephen Colbert, I have to say I am very very surprised and pleased. The fact you gave them this exposure and let alone helped in getting them a van or outright bought one for them (not sure what really happened) is amazing to me. People will say what they want about this and Flaw in general but I know for a fact that Mr. Chris Volz is a very talented individual. The band itself has a unique sound, many songs are uplifting, energetic, and they have a great synergy amongst band members. Mr. Colbert sir, you have definitely earned brownie points with me, I won't forget this.

I used to listen to Flaw. Their album Through the Eyes is actually one of the best nü metal offerings out there.

Agreed! Chris Volz vocals are fire on that cd. Ill Nino’s “Revolution Revolution “ is my other favorite Nu metal jawn
Nu metal is one of the best metal genres if you agree here

Flaw Loves America, Woot!
What a crazy segment! Well done Stephen and FLAW!
That ending... I can't breathe.
Hey guys, I got you this van... let me beat the sh*t out of it with this bottle of champagne...
Flaw had a good sense of humor to put up with that.
1operamom well, they did get a van out of it after all
They were probably happy with the recognition
I cracked at "we got you guys a grandma". Him lifting her + the sudden appearance of a cactus... too funny
This feels like a cross between classic Colbert and something Letterman would have done! Fantastic.
Which is why Stephen makes the Late Show feel like Dave never retired. He is very much in the spirit of classic Dave.
I literally donated $10 after one of his segments. Glad they eventually got their van!

I love the sheer randomness of all of this 😂😂😂
You're a good man, Stephen Colbert.
Stephen trying to christen the van hurt my lungs and throat a little.
hard to hold that hit when you're bursting out with laughter. I know.

Hahaha. A noble cause indeed.
"That doesn't spell 'Flaw.' It really looked like 'Flaw,' at first."
It's flawed.🤘🤘
It doesn't contain Flaw so... It's flawless
It's angrily corrected.

They'll never get the hood opened after that Champagne christening.
It’s like a double negative 🤣
this post has too many likes
I died at the christening part, how ironic
Isn't that supposed to be a bad omen when it doesn't break ?

Stephen talking to a cat in a funny voice? I"m in love.
Him ineffectually hitting that champagne bottle on the front of the van was one of the funniest things I have seen in awhile and I have no idea how.
When did that cactus sneak its way in there?
Veteran Nintenerd finally the real question of all of this

The song is called Best I AM and the lyric is "my life has not been whole." Close, but not quite right. 😂
Holy shit, some metal band needs to take some of those names Stephen suggested. Abracadaver is necessary. lol
Autopsy Turvy is pretty good too!
Sockbat Replica, absolutely, but I hope that band is a little like Primus. lol
Or The Melvins or Mike Patton. They'd need to be a metal band with a sillier side to them.
Sockbat Replica most definitely.
I'm really into "Bloodbarrier" :)
A very deserving band. They are amazing
I came here to watch the van christening clip after seeing the opening monologue for August 11th 2020. 😂🤣😂🤣
Same 😂
Me too!😁😂
Ok, this explains a lot. The music video actually makes sense now
