Starting at 1:35 is probably my favorite theme of the entire trilogy: wistful, romantic, epic but bittersweet for the heavy price Elizabeth and Will have to pay at the end of their saga. Such a beautiful and well-earned ending. "Keep a weather eye on the horizon."
i agree with you but someone really needs to do a mash up with (1:56) from(one day) and (0-1:30) from the chronicles of Narnia battle theme please even if it's only on piano. 😓
2:40 to 3:44 -- That violin... I am absolutely amazed at how beautiful and full of emotion it is. That beach scene at the end of Pirates of the Carribean: At World's End is so emotional and sad, but I want to commend Hans Zimmer for this track and every other track he has made. If I ever meet him, I will give him a genuine hug and thank him. :) Enjoy
There is something about Hans Zimmer's music that somehow lets me feel the most I can possibly feel. I cannot even properly explain to myself how much his music moves me, let alone to others via a small blurb in the comment box that few people will ever read, but nevertheless, I find it necessary to at least offer an attempt at a recognition of the way I feel.
10 years later and this song still sends chills throughout my body. Anyone else given the sense of hope from this song? The sense that "one day" you'll find everything in life that you've been looking for?
I was just thinking the same thing, this music awakens something primal in you, something thats been asleep since very long, but now its time to come out of slumber !!!!

Will was killed by Davy Jones. his father had to cut his heart out because the Dutchman needs a captian and it was the only way to save him. everything has a price. one day ashore, ten years at sea.

God, I remember hearing this for the first time in the theater. SO.MANY.FEELS. This song gets to me still to this day. That scene is just heartbreaking.
While this movie may not have been the best, I believe that the soundtrack is the best of the series. And I admire the inspiration drawn from certain Western soundtracks.
When this theme came on at the opening of Dead Men Tell No Tales, it hit me right in the feels. Avoiding spoilers, but.... Very touching scene with young Henry when the 2:40 fanfare came in.
Kyle Richards That was a touching scene. Unlike Davey, You can tell that Will still has his heart in the right place. Still knows how to love, despite his curse. The music fit it perfectly. "Stay away from Jack..."
2:37 Will Turner: You stay away from Jack! Leave the sea forever. You have to stop acting like a... Henry: A pirate? I won't stop. I want you to come home. (the Dutchman starts sinking back into the sea) Will Turner: Henry. I'm sorry. best song of the series, in my humble opinion. It has it all, the lift at the start, with all that we've come to associate with this great soundtrack, and the haunting violin at the end, that bit does something magical to the heart. Truly a beautiful piece by one of the great masters of our time...

Well, you can but you will not be defined as a pirate but as a highjacker or something, unless you go to Somalia, then yes,you will be a pirate but dont forget that the US Navy is there to kill those pirates so good luck
The beginning was breath-taking! I really love Hans style in composing. The melody that starts at 2:40 is just pure legend. A true love theme and I still hear it til this day. I really really hope that Hans compose the same music when making the 5th movie especially if Will returns. If he did that, I want the melody to sound more epic/emotional T_T I want to feel that "comeback" feeling.
Ugh the amount of goosebumps this piece of music gives me every single time!!! It’s so breathtakingly beautiful and haunting. Idk how else to explain it. It’s a true masterpiece
When I listen this melody I always cry. I don't know why. Maybe maestro can touch my heart. Maybe love story between Will and Elizabeth is amazingly beautiful. A masterpiece❤️
This is so beautiful 😭😭😭😍😍 at 3:12 I was alredy crying oceans. Everybody loved twilight and harry potter, but my fav Childhood movie will always be pirates of caribbean lol.
There is no word that is powerful enough to describe this.. Pirates of the Caribbean are part of my life.. As well as songs.. Makes me cry when i think about it all❤
this is exactly the reason why I loved Will and Elizabeth so much because it was their theme music! this will forever be my fav music of Hans Zimmer ever. I have watched this particular part of the movie like 20 times just because of this music
The thought that i could have never watch the movie and could have never heard the masterpiece of the maestro scares me. This is absolutely beautiful and brilliant.
"Now, bring me that horizon" " So tell me, what's become of my ship" "Drink up me hearties yo ho" "It's a pirate's life for me" "I have a rendezvous beyond my beloved horizon"
God that part at 2:20 being in the theatre nearly a decade ago just MOVED by the entire scene, score, cinematography, Keira & Orlando... breathtaking. One of the best scenes in film and a chunk of that is thanks to the score.
Came here for the 2056th time. Masterpiece by hans zimmer. One of top 5 soundtracks of all time in my book. With this love theme. “marry me”. Took the movies to another height.
Hans Zimmer est pour moi le plus grand compositeur au monde ! :) Cette musique est magnifique, elle est écrite est jouée à la perfection, chaque intonation rend la mélodie encore plus belle. Très belle composition :)
I like to listen this song here in this video. It is very hard to watch the video with the actual scene because it just depresses me seeing Elizabeth standing alone as Will walks away for 10 years. Just imagine being Elizabeth. Poetically tragic.
Jevilz The fifth was awful. The things they did wrong was the political message bs and they made the enemy too powerful so you couldn’t even have a fight scene and Jack was even himself.
2:41 - 4:02 is literally one of the most beautiful things I've ever heard.
So good
This theme is as majestic as "Remember Who You Are" from The Lion King. And both of these compositions were created by Hans Zimmer.
Need an hour of it!! 🤧
yep, such a good music
Agreed 😌
No actor, director or writer has ever reduced me to tears. That, my friends, takes a composer.
not really
Mate it takes a Hans Zimmer not any composer..
it takes a notorious pirate such as i.... who am I..... Im captain jack sparrow
+jessie_fun I don't any "composer" since Hans Zimmer did it all. Even Hamlet and the Simpsons, Skyrim, and WWII.
Jack Blanc Dont forget the Halo series 😉

I wish too... But we re in 21 th century.. Sadly.. I wish if i could make time mashine and go back to past when pirates lived, kings, sultans, i would be a world famous adventurer.. But now in this time.. These are only dreams .. :-(

Well, you can but you will not be defined as a pirate but as a highjacker or something, unless you go to Somalia, then yes,you will be a pirate but dont forget that the US Navy is there to kill those pirates so good luck

I love Harry Potter and LOTR and music from these movies but ths soundtrack is something beyond. I can’t explain this feeling.
Jack: Mr.Gibbs...You may throw my hat if you like..
Mr.Gibbs: Aye cap!......hurraaaayy!!...
Jack: Now go and get it...
Great comment
The beginning was breath-taking! I really love Hans style in composing. The melody that starts at 2:40 is just pure legend. A true love theme and I still hear it til this day. I really really hope that Hans compose the same music when making the 5th movie especially if Will returns. If he did that, I want the melody to sound more epic/emotional T_T I want to feel that "comeback" feeling.
If watch this movie until the end after the credits, you can see will's return!
Will returns in the fifth movie, they play this song when he is with Elizabeth and his son.
This movie has completed 14 years today. Still, its wonderful to listen & always will be!👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
I think it's still wonderful to play

It always will be :))
Az sum bg
*checks this song off the list*
On to more songs that I want to hear in my final hours
This is one of the most underrated music of all time. Truly a masterpiece, 2:40 gets me every time
This is so beautiful 😭😭😭😍😍 at 3:12 I was alredy crying oceans. Everybody loved twilight and harry potter, but my fav Childhood movie will always be pirates of caribbean lol.
+Taylor Swift FanPage Wait ... TWILIGHT ??
ew😑
nobody ever loved twilight....
LOL Who would ever like Twilight?
+Water Spray Nobody!
There is no word that is powerful enough to describe this.. Pirates of the Caribbean are part of my life.. As well as songs.. Makes me cry when i think about it all❤
Pirates of caribean so good. Trilogy is masterpiece.
Amazing soundtrack..
this is exactly the reason why I loved Will and Elizabeth so much because it was their theme music! this will forever be my fav music of Hans Zimmer ever. I have watched this particular part of the movie like 20 times just because of this music
The thought that i could have never watch the movie and could have never heard the masterpiece of the maestro scares me. This is absolutely beautiful and brilliant.

"Now, bring me that horizon"
" So tell me, what's become of my ship"
"Drink up me hearties yo ho"
"It's a pirate's life for me"
"I have a rendezvous beyond my beloved horizon"
Best lines ❤️
“So tell me, what’s become of my ship” i got so excited when i saw him coming down the steps. That is how you set up a sequel!
the last lines of every movie
God that part at 2:20 being in the theatre nearly a decade ago just MOVED by the entire scene, score, cinematography, Keira & Orlando... breathtaking. One of the best scenes in film and a chunk of that is thanks to the score.
Hans Zimmer is a musical genius, I never get bored with pirates of the caribbean, especially the soundtracks.
we bow down to you Hans zimmer
Christina Chinowsky U r a very lovely gentle creature for bowing,
and I thank u for bowing on behalf of my lord Hans Simmer.
Entirely agreed.
Entirely agreed
+Christina Chinowsky i would like to know you closer to the
The only soundtrack that has brought me to tears. All the POTC movies have great tracks, but At Worlds End has the best by far.
Will and Elizabeth's theme. Brings back so many good memories :)
I like to listen this song here in this video. It is very hard to watch the video with the actual scene because it just depresses me seeing Elizabeth standing alone as Will walks away for 10 years. Just imagine being Elizabeth. Poetically tragic.
True love is immortal, unending; those who get it, understand. Those who cannot see, never will.
The best movies with the best soundtrack.
Dead Men tell no tales was great not as great as the previous movies but still.
Jevilz better than the 4th one though
If Just for The First and Last scenes alone!
ya another word for bad, Johnny Depp forgot how to jack sparrow.
Jevilz The fifth was awful. The things they did wrong was the political message bs and they made the enemy too powerful so you couldn’t even have a fight scene and Jack was even himself.
I'm sorry but I would never trust your opinions on movies
This is my first time listening to this, and my first time attempting to cry, too.
omg loll
Depends.
"For sure, you have to be lost to find a place that can't be found, elseways everyone would know where it was"
it's one of those songs that gets more epic every time i watch it
The song that blasts in my head once the JD vs AH case verdict was delivered:
fak me!!! ive been searching this over 2 years.. exactly the part at 2:40.
+XPureBloodManiaX Ot the Kraken theme! :) not same track but still xD
+Drunken Pirate Did you also heard it in a AMV ?
wolfuns
no but in the full soundtrack video
Kristian Tsiknarovits
if your name was kristina... why not
Drunken Pirate Lmaoo XDDD
I've came back on this track because our Captain won the trial! Let's celebrate with Rum mateys!
Why......is.....all.....the rum......GONE
It's gone....because i drank it all. Not my fault it's delicious
He replaced it with a jar of dirt.
Hans Zimmer drank it and then he composed this.
Kane Johnson yd yrutiroopdjfjkl
Why is the rum always gone?
