I know that in the Canon, Dog ended up siring a great new line of Mabari in Denerim, but I like to believe that he followed them through the Eluvian, and was always just off screen in Skyhold, worn out from playing with Kieran.
I like to think "dog" was with the warden and will meet Zeveran since Zeveran can be convinced to go with you to find Morrigan but he never showed up lol. "You never called me about going off with Morrigan without a goodbye. Honestly what am I to do with you, and you want to go off to find a cure for this calling you wardens have? Sounds like a dangerous journey with just you and our marbari friend here. Though of course if there is a nice reward that shall be given to a old friend then maybe this old friend can i don't know....help out?"
I had the same ending, but I always laugh when I think about Finn and Ariane being left behind without even a proper goodbye from the Warden. She doesn't even get her book back... And both are left alone with the Dog on one of the most dangerous places in the game. But, this aside, I really hope that Fin and Ariane become more than friends and adopt the Dog so I can see them again in Inquisition.
KleineGames I did play but not yet finish. I'm aiming the "no one will die option" in the final battle since my warden is a male and I want my warden to be the father of the child.

In my playthrough (as a Human Noble) I had a one night stand with Morrigan. Then romanced with Leliana. But finally married Queen Anora and became the King of Ferelden. In the meantime also had a foursome with Isabella, Leliana and Zevran. Phew! Grey Warden--- such a tough job!! :)

Never bothered about codex entries. My friends said to me the background story of DA-Origins is pretty awesome if you have patience to read all the codex. I never bothered though.
I was pretty happy to discover that the Warden, Morrigan and Kieran became a happy family. Motherhood changes Morrigan in such a fantastic way and it was great the hear that she and Aedan raised him very lovingly.
The real tragedy here is that you have to romance her to go through the Eluvian with her. I mean, why can't a best buddy who wants to help out with preparing the child for its destiny come along? :[
I always imagined that my female mage played a part in raising Kieran. She romanced Alistair and saw a piece of him in Kieran even though they were no longer together (made Alistair king, chose not to be his mistress). If Alistair is romanced, Kieran is a product of the love Alistair had for the female Warden. He wouldn't have done it if he didn't know it would have a chance of saving the ones he loved. I think that bond was just as important in conceiving Kieran as the awkward sex. And if Alistair did the ultimate sacrifice, that connection is so much stronger.

Actually I was a little bit disapointed with this DLC. First of all it was too short. Also judging by the title "Witch Hunt" I imagined a different story. Wouldn't that be cool if the plot was like this: A group of templars are hunting for the deadly apostate Morrigan who is in search of Eluvian and by beliefs wants to do something bad with it (or whatever else motive for their hunt). Your Warden incognito joins the group of templars with two possible goals: either to help them track her and hunt her down, or deceitly use their help to find Morrigan because you love her. As you would aproach closer and closer to her you could have an option to eleminate templars one by one, silently. In the end you will meet Morrigan, have a reunion with her and help defeat remaining witch hunters. That is of course if you have romanced her in Origins and posess the ring. Would you like that scenario?
+Alexander MacLean While this scenario is great, it misses one crucial point, Morrigan wouldn't be happy to see you really(of course she would be happy if you romanced her, BUT as in the DLC, she doesn't know if she want to trust you or not, she is conflicted by this) so it would have been awesome if you, instead of joining the Templars, went on your own investigations and actually hunted her. Then at the end, you would have the choice to join the templars and attack her(injuring her before she got to the Eluvian because she would have had to survive) or stand by Morrigan and fight with her a last time. If you choose the second option you would have had 3 new options, betray her yourself(aka, the douchbag who just wanted to do it himself/herself), tell her goodbye while going separate ways(aka, the normal way if you don't play as a less kind person but didn't romance her) or you would tell her you want to be wit her, of course you should have to have romanced her, kept the ring and be able to make her see reason and allow you to follow you. Oh and while the DLC is a bit disappointing(when i first saw it i was afraid that YOU were gonna hunt her because she turned bad, this was before Inquisition had been reveled and would force you to fight her) i still feel like it's a good ending for those of us that romanced Morrigan. I also wish they had used Finn and Ariane as more seen characters in DA:I. All i want is that Bioware gives me my Warden back so i can see him with Kieran and Morrigan, being happy ;___; i didn't do all i could in both Origins and Awakening and then in Witch hunt for me to get to hear that she misses him but that he is trying to get rid of the calling ;___;
It's short because this dlc was just to give closure to the people who romanced Morrigan and just to show what happened to her. I know I'm a little too late with this comment though lol.

This is copied and pasted cuz I wrote this recently but here u go Old BioWare>any game company I mean just the rp alone makes the games S tier, I hope in DA4 that the main protagonist is the warden again cuz 1: imo the morrigan romance is the best so yeah 2: It’s undeniable BioWare hasn’t been what they were ME Legendary edition saved em somewhat but it was only a remaster if DA4 fails we may potentially not even get a ME4 and if that fails as well BioWare is finished so I’d say let us use any of the protagonists we want whether it be DAO, DA2, OR DA3 the MC is 100% our choice and the team is made up of everyone from the 3 games that can be there, leave it off with no cliffhangers however leave room for a sequel meaning don’t leave it on a “we’re done with these guys” ending but also not like a “the story isn’t over” ending same goes for ME4 since it’s possible shep will return or they could just let us chose warden or inquisitor
Theory time: One place they could be going to if it exists is the place the elves refer to as "heaven" in the old tales of the dalish. The reason I think so is because the gods were sealed in heaven while the forgoten ones were sealed in the "abyss". The "abyss" meant deep undergroundt in the mortal realm, so it figures that the old gods were sealed deep in the fade or someplace beyond the fade. Another aspect is that this is a child with the soul of a god so perhaps she went there to raise it.
This scene actually sent shivers down my spine. This, and the Architect in Awakening were the most interesting part of the series. They could make an entire game on the Warden just trying to find Morrigan or seeing whats on the other side of the gate.

a few points I have might support this theory or make it a little more probable. If she is pregnant we can asume that she wants protection. In this world Flemeth is chasing her and she seems almost as strong as an archdemon (forgoten one). It would make sense to seek out beings that have more power or equal the power of flemeth, this she can find in the old "gods" sealed in heaven. Also if indeed Flemeth is possesed by Fen'harel the dire wolf, it would make sense for the gods to help her.
To me the answer seems quite obvious, the Eluvians lead to the original elven home "Arlathan" the child is the re-incarnated soul of a (now purified) old god, he is being raised by Morrigan (+ Warden if chosen) they are in the safest place possible, where not even Flemeth, can reach them this way they can groom the child to be a benevolent god, instead of whatever plans Flemeth had for the child, which is why its also most likely Flemeth who tore the veil open, hoping to flush out Morrigan & the child seeing as they are safe & unaware of thees even in "Arlathan" this job of closing the veil will be undertaken by the "Inquisitor" who when then get to play. (short answer: No, I think we will see/hear more about the child in the next Dragon Age game.)
Arlathan is in Thedas and is now a part of the Tevinter Imperium. I highly doubt that they are there. Also, there must be another reason for the veil being torn, as this will always happen. It should be noted that there might not be a god-child in all playthroughs as the Warden has the option of refusing Morrigan's deal and sacrificing himself or Alistair to kill the archdemon. If that's the case, no god-child exists. There will be a role for him, certainly, but it won't be anywhere near that big.
360firedevil NO!!! The Ritual was a CHOICE!!! In BioWare's Canon the Ritual is NOT performed and the Warden sacrifices themselves to kill Urthemiel the Archdemon. If the Ritual was performed the child can only be Male. It is because Urthemiel was Male. The child has the Soul of an Old God that is why it is a boy. There is always a CHOICE to play as a Male or Female in BioWare Games.
started playing Dragon age only from 2015 got into the lore after i finally played Inquisition during lock down and now as i play through the old games once more there are hints and what not...... foretelling about the dread wolf and whats to come damn i feel old....

As far as DA:1 goes that is all canon Bioware or EA (whoever calls the shots in this story department) acknowledges. Although I admit that would make Witch Hunt non-canon, although it does not matter what is canon, because same as with Mass Effect (although Andromeda might skim a lot on this) or Witcher, it all depends upon the player how the story unfolds, any other tie-in material usually keeps the big details on the down-low and working with the ending decisions only, example being Mass Effect: Conviction, set between second and third games, we only know (as far as I am concerned) that Shepard survived the suicide mission and succeeded on the DLC Arrival, although we are left in dark on what was his stance on the Batarian casualties.
For story and lore purposes, Bio Ware's official Canon is female Dalish Elf Warden that didn't do the Ritual and sacrificed herself against the Archdemon. I'm not sure what the Inquisitor is in their story, but I know Hawke is a male Mage. That being said, BioWare has stated that there is no "official" canon and that it's dependent on the player how the story goes.
Anthony Murano there are two canons, the one for the books, which assumes Wynne Shale are alive, Alistair is king (unknown if married to Anora) Warden is nowhere to be found, and the shitty Inquisition “canon” which kills as many as possible so “new players” would know what was going on, who TF starts with the third game in a series?
well on the recent game informer issues, the canon is that dalish elf (dies), hawke mage. So there you go. Plus remember if they did do it, there are so many people who chose to die. It's likely that the ogb is either a cameo, or morrigan found another way to concieve it either way he wont be in inquisition. he'll be 10, as this is 10 years after the blight and soon after da:2. Read up on it, game informer are doing a monthly thing on it. So no ogb for da3 :(
@VavoTK The warden couldnt be dead. In order for Morrigan to have a child, she'd have had to do the dark ritual with either the Warden or Alistair, which prevents them both from dying.
well they did say the character creation will be like in DAO in DA3. They may include the option to have one of our origins to be the son or daughter of the Warden or the Champion(if possible) If so it would be fun to be the child of the Warden.
no the only requirement is to still be in "romance" in the game files with her at the end of DA:O, the only problem is that there is a bug that makes your relashionship go from Romance to friendship if you talk to her after the dark ritual, what you need to do is keep the golden miror that you buy in Orzamar for this moment after you talk to her give her the mirror and it'll set the relashionship to romance again.
@UncleShoveit BUT... what if you can import your DA:2 save to DA:3 just like you can do it with DA:O save in DA:2... for me, it means that warden (Human Noble, the Cousland, not Amell) is dead (i refused Morrigan's offering and killed the Archdemon myself) and he was in relationship with Leliana and not with Morrigan also both Warden and Hawke were rogues in my games... Maybe the cover Hawke is worn like a mage, but he CAN be a rogue... (sorry for my english, it´s not my default language)
@waygameplay Would be cool if you play the child at the time when Alistair and the Grey Warden begin having the nightmares and have to go the Deep Roads and you'd have to find your pops to have him help you or something seeing that I believe the Archdemon will probably have some sort of factor to play there. Or you know whatever. But yeah that's a possibility I see anyways.

It just sounds weird to me that they drop a bomb like the Warden and Morrigan have a baby (although we knew about it already), if they aren't going to show something more about it in DA3
if u have all the dlc installed then u have to start a new game and it will give u an option to start origins, awakening, witch hunt, etc and then u can choose to import a character.

Just like it's probably suppose to be canon the main character of KOTOR is the soldier class(or whatever the fuck the tank class is) seeing that [SPOILER] the character is Revan and a Jedi so anything but the fighter class would be silly. I hope the child is your companion in the next game, since he's in Inquisition, and you can learn about him and he even has a name.. Its like they're hinting that he may have a bigger role in the next game(Haven't beat Inquisition yet). Would be cool if he was your companion and based on your relationship with him and if you do his loyalty quests and stuff then you can decide if he fulfills whatever his prophecy is meant to be or not… Would be a pretty cool twist

True, but at the same time Leliana didn't exist for some players(since she can die in DA:O) yet they still brought her back as a major character. You never know what will happen.
Oh. D: It would make way more sense for the main char for DA3 to be the warden's and Morrigan's child. Forget Alistair, because that would just fail. It would also have quite a few add-ons to the story if that were so. Also, Morrigan goes on and on about his destiny, it has to add up somewhere. As well as in DA2 the Champion goes missing, the child is far away (in a different country e.g. Orlais) It would make sense if the champion saw this child and raised him up. Be more interesting too.
The deves said it but i dont think they have ruled it out they talked about it being peoples choice in origins so u may see it but they did say the child would be around 12 years old at the time of the 3rd game so u would not be able to play has the child.
Only they would have to alter the cannon a bit, firstly cause that could mean the child would have to be male, and could even possibly only be half human etc... More likely to be a major influence of sorts or a party member
My take is that the mages now free of the templars will play heavily is DA3. The story of how the mages got free had to be told, and Hawke was the catalyst.

I have 2 theories, its either Flemeth or Morrigans child that is the elder one. If you think about it the ritual was the reason Morrigan was sent the warden, and later on in witch hunt she tells you "the ritual is but a means to an end, a herald for what is to come" and she thought Flemeth had other intentions. Meaning she finds out what the child was really meant to be used for. The child does grow faster than normal, in the cutscene "Morrigan was scene with child" which is just shortly after the ending. Maybe Flemeths intent was to posses the child because he has a mix of morrigan, the warden, and an Arch demons powers.
the expression"with child" is an old saying for "pregnant" but but I definitely agree flemeth and or old god baby will play a huge part in Inquisition.
@DevilJinKazama God I hope in DA3 we do get to see a story build up from DA1 and 2. As in all the decisions you made in both games will greatly effect your gameplay in DA3. And I do think there will be a DA3 BioWare has a habit of attempting to make trilogies : ) so yeah for DA3!!!
I agree with a comment I read elsewhere - that DA2 felt like three acts of a four-act story; there should have been more buildup between the defeat of the Qunari in Act 2 and the apocalypse in Act 3.

My Wardens still alive, I like to believe that his dog is travelling with your Warden while he finds a way to end the calling/curse.

well for the Wardens that took this route , my Warden did the ritual but did not romance her, but yeah they should mention this in the third one

Actually I was a little bit disapointed with this DLC. First of all it was too short. Also judging by the title "Witch Hunt" I imagined a different story. Wouldn't that be cool if the plot was like this: A group of templars are hunting for the deadly apostate Morrigan who is in search of Eluvian and by beliefs wants to do something bad with it (or whatever else motive for their hunt). Your Warden incognito joins the group of templars with two possible goals: either to help them track her and hunt her down, or deceitly use their help to find Morrigan because you love her. As you would aproach closer and closer to her you could have an option to eleminate templars one by one, silently. In the end you will meet Morrigan, have a reunion with her and help defeat remaining witch hunters. That is of course if you have romanced her in Origins and posess the ring. Would you like that scenario?
+Alexander MacLean While this scenario is great, it misses one crucial point, Morrigan wouldn't be happy to see you really(of course she would be happy if you romanced her, BUT as in the DLC, she doesn't know if she want to trust you or not, she is conflicted by this) so it would have been awesome if you, instead of joining the Templars, went on your own investigations and actually hunted her. Then at the end, you would have the choice to join the templars and attack her(injuring her before she got to the Eluvian because she would have had to survive) or stand by Morrigan and fight with her a last time. If you choose the second option you would have had 3 new options, betray her yourself(aka, the douchbag who just wanted to do it himself/herself), tell her goodbye while going separate ways(aka, the normal way if you don't play as a less kind person but didn't romance her) or you would tell her you want to be wit her, of course you should have to have romanced her, kept the ring and be able to make her see reason and allow you to follow you.
Oh and while the DLC is a bit disappointing(when i first saw it i was afraid that YOU were gonna hunt her because she turned bad, this was before Inquisition had been reveled and would force you to fight her) i still feel like it's a good ending for those of us that romanced Morrigan. I also wish they had used Finn and Ariane as more seen characters in DA:I. All i want is that Bioware gives me my Warden back so i can see him with Kieran and Morrigan, being happy ;___; i didn't do all i could in both Origins and Awakening and then in Witch hunt for me to get to hear that she misses him but that he is trying to get rid of the calling ;___;

This is copied and pasted cuz I wrote this recently but here u go Old BioWare>any game company I mean just the rp alone makes the games S tier, I hope in DA4 that the main protagonist is the warden again cuz 1: imo the morrigan romance is the best so yeah 2: It’s undeniable BioWare hasn’t been what they were ME Legendary edition saved em somewhat but it was only a remaster if DA4 fails we may potentially not even get a ME4 and if that fails as well BioWare is finished so I’d say let us use any of the protagonists we want whether it be DAO, DA2, OR DA3 the MC is 100% our choice and the team is made up of everyone from the 3 games that can be there, leave it off with no cliffhangers however leave room for a sequel meaning don’t leave it on a “we’re done with these guys” ending but also not like a “the story isn’t over” ending same goes for ME4 since it’s possible shep will return or they could just let us chose warden or inquisitor
This should've ended with your Warden holding his child. It would've made the ending a whole lot better and more satisfying than it actually is.
I was glad I chose to let my Cousland warden go through Eluvian with Morrigan, DAI had very satisfying arc for my warden.
this is how my playthrough ended, i thought it was a beautiful ending to the whole dragon age origins saga.

Theory time: One place they could be going to if it exists is the place the elves refer to as "heaven" in the old tales of the dalish. The reason I think so is because the gods were sealed in heaven while the forgoten ones were sealed in the "abyss". The "abyss" meant deep undergroundt in the mortal realm, so it figures that the old gods were sealed deep in the fade or someplace beyond the fade. Another aspect is that this is a child with the soul of a god so perhaps she went there to raise it.
Just when you think you're going to get answers, BOOM! More questions. I love Dragon Age it's always a speculation of what happens next.

This scene actually sent shivers down my spine. This, and the Architect in Awakening were the most interesting part of the series. They could make an entire game on the Warden just trying to find Morrigan or seeing whats on the other side of the gate.

a few points I have might support this theory or make it a little more probable. If she is pregnant we can asume that she wants protection. In this world Flemeth is chasing her and she seems almost as strong as an archdemon (forgoten one). It would make sense to seek out beings that have more power or equal the power of flemeth, this she can find in the old "gods" sealed in heaven. Also if indeed Flemeth is possesed by Fen'harel the dire wolf, it would make sense for the gods to help her.
Best ending, love Morrigan 😍 but it would have been nice to see the Warden in DA:I though

To me the answer seems quite obvious, the Eluvians lead to the original elven home "Arlathan" the child is the re-incarnated soul of a (now purified) old god, he is being raised by Morrigan (+ Warden if chosen) they are in the safest place possible, where not even Flemeth, can reach them this way they can groom the child to be a benevolent god, instead of whatever plans Flemeth had for the child, which is why its also most likely Flemeth who tore the veil open, hoping to flush out Morrigan & the child seeing as they are safe & unaware of thees even in "Arlathan" this job of closing the veil will be undertaken by the "Inquisitor" who when then get to play. (short answer: No, I think we will see/hear more about the child in the next Dragon Age game.)
Arlathan is in Thedas and is now a part of the Tevinter Imperium. I highly doubt that they are there. Also, there must be another reason for the veil being torn, as this will always happen. It should be noted that there might not be a god-child in all playthroughs as the Warden has the option of refusing Morrigan's deal and sacrificing himself or Alistair to kill the archdemon. If that's the case, no god-child exists. There will be a role for him, certainly, but it won't be anywhere near that big.

360firedevil NO!!! The Ritual was a CHOICE!!! In BioWare's Canon the Ritual is NOT performed and the Warden sacrifices themselves to kill Urthemiel the Archdemon. If the Ritual was performed the child can only be Male. It is because Urthemiel was Male. The child has the Soul of an Old God that is why it is a boy. There is always a CHOICE to play as a Male or Female in BioWare Games.

started playing Dragon age only from 2015 got into the lore after i finally played Inquisition during lock down and now as i play through the old games once more there are hints and what not...... foretelling about the dread wolf and whats to come damn i feel old....

well male canon warden endgame romance is with morrigan thru the portal. Female canon is with king allistair

As far as DA:1 goes that is all canon Bioware or EA (whoever calls the shots in this story department) acknowledges. Although I admit that would make Witch Hunt non-canon, although it does not matter what is canon, because same as with Mass Effect (although Andromeda might skim a lot on this) or Witcher, it all depends upon the player how the story unfolds, any other tie-in material usually keeps the big details on the down-low and working with the ending decisions only, example being Mass Effect: Conviction, set between second and third games, we only know (as far as I am concerned) that Shepard survived the suicide mission and succeeded on the DLC Arrival, although we are left in dark on what was his stance on the Batarian casualties.
For story and lore purposes, Bio Ware's official Canon is female Dalish Elf Warden that didn't do the Ritual and sacrificed herself against the Archdemon. I'm not sure what the Inquisitor is in their story, but I know Hawke is a male Mage. That being said, BioWare has stated that there is no "official" canon and that it's dependent on the player how the story goes.

Anthony Murano there are two canons, the one for the books, which assumes Wynne Shale are alive, Alistair is king (unknown if married to Anora) Warden is nowhere to be found, and the shitty Inquisition “canon” which kills as many as possible so “new players” would know what was going on, who TF starts with the third game in a series?

well on the recent game informer issues, the canon is that dalish elf (dies), hawke mage. So there you go. Plus remember if they did do it, there are so many people who chose to die. It's likely that the ogb is either a cameo, or morrigan found another way to concieve it either way he wont be in inquisition. he'll be 10, as this is 10 years after the blight and soon after da:2. Read up on it, game informer are doing a monthly thing on it. So no ogb for da3 :(

I did this DLC twice and the second time I swore I would choose the "Kill her" ending...but her facial emotions made me cry!
@VavoTK The warden couldnt be dead. In order for Morrigan to have a child, she'd have had to do the dark ritual with either the Warden or Alistair, which prevents them both from dying.

well they did say the character creation will be like in DAO in DA3. They may include the option to have one of our origins to be the son or daughter of the Warden or the Champion(if possible) If so it would be fun to be the child of the Warden.
no the only requirement is to still be in "romance" in the game files with her at the end of DA:O, the only problem is that there is a bug that makes your relashionship go from Romance to friendship if you talk to her after the dark ritual, what you need to do is keep the golden miror that you buy in Orzamar for this moment after you talk to her give her the mirror and it'll set the relashionship to romance again.

BUT... what if you can import your DA:2 save to DA:3 just like you can do it with DA:O save in DA:2... for me, it means that warden (Human Noble, the Cousland, not Amell) is dead (i refused Morrigan's offering and killed the Archdemon myself) and he was in relationship with Leliana and not with Morrigan
also both Warden and Hawke were rogues in my games... Maybe the cover Hawke is worn like a mage, but he CAN be a rogue...

@waygameplay Would be cool if you play the child at the time when Alistair and the Grey Warden begin having the nightmares and have to go the Deep Roads and you'd have to find your pops to have him help you or something seeing that I believe the Archdemon will probably have some sort of factor to play there. Or you know whatever. But yeah that's a possibility I see anyways.

if u have all the dlc installed then u have to start a new game and it will give u an option to start origins, awakening, witch hunt, etc and then u can choose to import a character.

i know Bro i see this "Monthly Game Informer Thing" but you may be right he'll probably appear as a Cameo in a Conversation Or Like David (From Mass Effect 2 Overload DLC) appears in Mass Effect 3 if you saved Him in Mass Effect 2 Or like Alistair Appears in DA II Depending on your choices (or don't appear at all) but you're probably right if he appears will be just a cameo -_-
I hope the child is your companion in the next game, since he's in Inquisition, and you can learn about him and he even has a name.. Its like they're hinting that he may have a bigger role in the next game(Haven't beat Inquisition yet). Would be cool if he was your companion and based on your relationship with him and if you do his loyalty quests and stuff then you can decide if he fulfills whatever his prophecy is meant to be or not… Would be a pretty cool twist

Well, i feel that a character such as kieran is can only be someone you see in the game ( an important NPC like flemeth) but not a companion, becouse i bet he will be fucking strong

True, but at the same time Leliana didn't exist for some players(since she can die in DA:O) yet they still brought her back as a major character. You never know what will happen.
SO much for the portal only sustaining one person....
Oh. D: It would make way more sense for the main char for DA3 to be the warden's and Morrigan's child. Forget Alistair, because that would just fail. It would also have quite a few add-ons to the story if that were so. Also, Morrigan goes on and on about his destiny, it has to add up somewhere. As well as in DA2 the Champion goes missing, the child is far away (in a different country e.g. Orlais) It would make sense if the champion saw this child and raised him up. Be more interesting too.
PS they also state the DA3 world map will be much larger than in DAO.

The deves said it but i dont think they have ruled it out they talked about it being peoples choice in origins so u may see it but they did say the child would be around 12 years old at the time of the 3rd game so u would not be able to play has the child.

Only they would have to alter the cannon a bit, firstly cause that could mean the child would have to be male, and could even possibly only be half human etc... More likely to be a major influence of sorts or a party member

My take is that the mages now free of the templars will play heavily is DA3. The story of how the mages got free had to be told, and Hawke was the catalyst.

I have 2 theories, its either Flemeth or Morrigans child that is the elder one. If you think about it the ritual was the reason Morrigan was sent the warden, and later on in witch hunt she tells you "the ritual is but a means to an end, a herald for what is to come" and she thought Flemeth had other intentions. Meaning she finds out what the child was really meant to be used for. The child does grow faster than normal, in the cutscene "Morrigan was scene with child" which is just shortly after the ending. Maybe Flemeths intent was to posses the child because he has a mix of morrigan, the warden, and an Arch demons powers.
the expression"with child" is an old saying for "pregnant" but but I definitely agree flemeth and or old god baby will play a huge part in Inquisition.
Morrigan went through the portal to the Mass Effect universe, shapeshifted into a Quarian and became Admiral Xen of the migrant fleet!
@DevilJinKazama God I hope in DA3 we do get to see a story build up from DA1 and 2. As in all the decisions you made in both games will greatly effect your gameplay in DA3. And I do think there will be a DA3 BioWare has a habit of attempting to make trilogies : ) so yeah for DA3!!!
I agree with a comment I read elsewhere - that DA2 felt like three acts of a four-act story; there should have been more buildup between the defeat of the Qunari in Act 2 and the apocalypse in Act 3.
