I don’t know that for a fact, but I assume so. It’s possible that the oil level would all be below that sensor, but I don’t actually know. I figured I’d be better off just draining it rather than soaking the engine bay with oil.
@@Ricky_RochaI would think it most likely would be. I know there is some differences between gen 2 and gen 3 coyotes, but I think it’s mostly internal.
Hey man, did you find a way to tap into your headlights for the “dimmer” colors? I am having a nightmare trying to get that situated. I have the same prosport gauges but a 2023 mustang gt
So for mine, you could have them either be white or blue depending what wire you connected for normal power, and vice versa connecting them to the headlight circuit. I didn’t do this because I don’t care for the blue backlight on the gauges. It is too hard and obnoxious on my eyes, and I wanted them to stay the crisp white color all the time. If you did want to make them turn blue when your headlights come on, you would need to take and run that wire and tap into your headlight circuit. You could run it all the way to the back of the headlight and tap into the harness there, or there may be a wire to tap into inside the car as well. Perhaps one of the wires that comes off your actual headlight switch? I didn’t look into this enough, so I am not sure what the wire color would be, but those would be my two suggestions to look at.
@@akgearhead alright thanks for the info! How are you liking how the pod fits? I’m a little disappointed with how bad mine fits but there really aren’t many options out there :P
@@heavionix2918 I’m happy with how it fits for the most part. I do wish it was more patterned after how the factory one clips in though. I had to mess around with it a bit to get it to actually fit fairly decent
So it’s obviously recommended to do this when you are doing and oil change because oil will drip out if you just remove the the stock sensor right?

@@akgearhead thanks for the reply brother. Would a 2021 sensor be located in the same area? Any clue?

Where did you get your T fitting and adapter from?
Local hydraulic store.
Where exactly can I find that t adapter?
Should be able to find it online. I got mine from a local hose and hydraulic shop
@@akgearhead thanks for the reply, didn’t see someone else asked you already.
