Hi! I actually live in Montréal Canada and I wanted to say that the missionaries here are some of the best ever, and the mission president and his wife are lovely people. It's an amazing place and there is so much love for the missionaries, so your boyfriend will love it here! My boyfriend is on a mission right now and it's hard, but I know you will both be blessed as you make this sacrifice!

I had a boyfriend leave on a mission when I was 17, and I was at his house after he got set apart. Thankfully, his stake president gave him permission to hug me one last time after that, but that experience is one of my most emotional memories even years later when we are no longer together. Now, I am planning to leave my current boyfriend in the fall and I'm not sure I'm ready to do that again. It was truly surreal and life-altering.

I'm leaving in two months. Bismarck North Dakota and I am stoked about my mission area!! I feel confident in everything besides leaving my gf of two years behind.. she's going on a mission leaving 7 months after me so ill be home before her barely. were both waiting for each other also. I'm scared of missing her too much and not being able to function, granted the first little bit at least should be really difficult though right? I still worry we wont make it. Idk I'm probably just being sensitive but I feel so vulnerable. Any ideas would be great, love the channel!

Good luck to you! I just moved from the North Dakota area... you’ll love it! It’s beautiful in the summer, winter is a little tough but you’ll get used to it lol! If you ever head to Williston, enjoy it! The people are amazing there.

It’s totally not!! You’re super young and at a prime age! Please go and don’t feel like age should be a reason you back out of some of the best moments of your life. It’s so weird because I left at 20 years and I thought I felt so old 😅 it’s like God was listening because a friend of mine came up to me and said that they had someone in their district at 26! Someone in my ward left in her 30s! I just saw a video on fb of two sister missionaries - 22 years. For me, it didn’t feel right to go at 19. But once I turned 20 it was like BAM. It felt weird because a lot of the girls I know were already coming back from THIER mission.
