Len R is it okay if I post the Grafton Street clip from your film to the Facebook group "Photos and memories of Portsmouth UK". My mum used to live there and I wondered if she may remember you or anyone else in the clip. Her name is Christine Neale (nee Garrett) and she would have been around 8 then. Regards, Terry Neale
Hi Terry , sorry for the delay I've only just looked into this video after a few months. No problem you can upload it to the Facebook group. Garret does ring a bell, but I can't remember what part of the street they might have lived in. I lived at No. 40 and as you can see from the name below the video my surname is Router (Leonard Router). i hope your mum can revive some memories seeing the film. All gone now though and replaced by flats.
What a precious film of Portsmouth in 1953 (one year before I was born in Fratton). Excellent work!
What a great film....👍

Hi Terry again - you are quite at liberty to post the whole film as it's a Photos & Memories of Portsmouth UK Facebook group. Best wishes - Len
