Meet the Miniaturist: Uppark DollsHouse Tour!

Here's a special treat!
My latest Meet the Miniaturist features a special virtual tour of the Uppark DollsHouse currently on view at The Huguenot Museum in Rochester, UK.
Dr. Tessa Murdoch, Acting Chair of the museum board, gave a terrific talk about this extraordinary 18th century dollshouse in rare original state. Uppark is one of the oldest surviving dolls houses in the world and has been part of the same family (The Lethieulliers) for centuries. It's recently undergone an extensive conservation effort returning glory to the structure and its contents.
Learn about the history of the dollshouse, take a look inside some of the rooms and see some of the miniatures contained inside while hearing wonderful stories about the occupants and original owners.
