Agreed. I don't get the aesthetic of a very tall Joker, I think it's far more menacing for him to present an unimposing physique. If you see him coming, you've defeated the point. Batman should be taller, and I like him as taller than most of the Bat family also. He's still a perfectly acceptable human scale, lots of room for bigger guys, lots of room for smaller guys. And I LOVE that he finally has muscular thighs! No chicken legs for this martial artist!
I personally prefer DC Comics superheroes as they looked during my childhood and my teenage years, basically the late Silver Age and most of the Bronze Age. If those characters from those two eras would be made and released by McFarlane Toys I would be happy.

The comparison to Mcfarlane's 1st figure shows how far he's come and I love how smooth the torso joint is on the new one. That's one of the most important things to me these days - a smooth looking sculpt and in particular the torso joint as it's right in the middle of the figure/central point of focus (HELLO Mafex!!) -Was really hoping to do some head swapping as I know you probably were too but oh well. Still going to be GREAT to customise this guy by painting the briefs, giving him a new pouch belt (probably from Flashpoint Bats) & maybe a cloth cape. Great sculpt/figure. Thanks mate!!
At 8:35 I was totally imagining the Joker moving his head like that himself. (Then touching his ear the way you made him, listening for someone's inevitable "WTF??" comment.)
I really like this Batman figure. However it looks more like Frank Miller's version than Jason Fabok's take. By no means Fabok's Batman is slim or unassumed, but this figure has that hulking frame and "ox neck" typical from Miller's Batman. It's a great figure. Just not very accurate.
great review , I've seen a good few people complaining that Red hood scale is off to the other figures but if he's a reuse of the og hoods legs then shouldn't that be in scale anyway or was that figure shorter then the others too ?
Recently when I was stocking I saw the McFarlane box for the Three Jokers line and I was gutted when the new Batman from this video was the only new one everything else I believe were either repaints or repacks

Man McF is throwing a lot of temptation, not sure even Adam and Eve were tempted this hard. If Adam saw that Clown Joker before the apple, we would be living in a sin free world. Unless of course God told them to lay off the tree of the knowledge of good and McFarlane.
when the heck is Mcfarlane gonna CHANGE the wretched ankles and wrists- they feel more like puzzles than Points of articulation lol...seriously too many STUNNING sculpts are being compromised with those ankles and hideous ball jointed wrists ugh...
I have already PO this Batman because the belt section reminds me of Michael Keaton's Batman from Batman Returns & the overall Batman design reminds me of Kevin Conroy's Batman: The Animated Series😍🖤🦇💛👍, but if I do plan to pick up other Figures next I would definitely get the Batgirl & The Comedian Joker because I would like to complete The Killing Joke collection, I also love the Animated Movie a lot💚👍😊

Let's hope he sticks to making figures from older comics tho, I don't think the Superman's new replacement Soyman would sell very well. Batman's head looks so inhuman 😂. And the overall proportion still looks very weird compared to his looks in that specific comics. I guess only the DC essential that can nail the Jason Fabok's design.

I feel like the Clown Joker needed to have a narrower head and longer chin. That's how he was depicted for most of that characters era.
