I was really most excited for the Comedian as well. The Clown I liked a lot more then I originally thought when finally getting it in hand. I've never seen such good reuse and all pull off looking so different from one another. The more I looked the more I found the same like all having the same hair sculpt when looking under the Comedian's hat.
And it's also amazing that the Marvel Legends team used Dafoe's likeness for their upcoming (not 1st appearance/non-comic accurate) William _'Sabretooth'_ Dafoe figure.
I have The Comedian, and actually, if you look closely on his camera, you can see the words “Three Jokers” on his camera. I thought that was a neat fact.
All three are phenomenal jokers. I especially appreciate how you can swap the heads between the three pretty easy, so any ACBA can get the right look for the scene.
Ooh I'd love to see the Clown head on the Comedian body. The Clown and the Comedian definitely have me interested, but I almost wish they fused the two together. I like the more iconic design of the Clown which also seems to allow more range of movement, but I wish he had an all purple look. The Comedian looks so damn creepy but I also feel like that look for Joker is almost a little too plain for me, I know he had it at the start of The Killing Joke but that I think was the only time he wore it, I know that's a weird issue to have but it's a nitpick. Honestly I just wish that Icons version had a hatless grinning head, that to me would be a perfect classis Joker figure. These look great, but I feel the Clown's head sculpt is thrown off by the lack of curlier hair which I feel would've added a bit extra wildness to it along with comic accuracy.
Trench coat Joker is my favorite of the 3. He's sinister looking! I like the textures of the coat. The grey pants and gloves offset the purple well. I wouldn't expect much as far as articulation goes with this figure so that's fine. Another weapon would have been nice, but it is what it is.
Yeah, and not that not great/unpainted long barreled revolver...but like a regular sized painted one. Damn shame WB won't allow guns anymore, and it'll soon spread fully to Disney properties too...like Han Solo with his infamous space knife accessory!
I got a Tommy gun for him on ebay. Had to do some paint work on it and unfortunately only found in 1/12 scale, but it still works and absolutely completes the look.
When I first read the comic, I always assumed that the three different Jokers were from three different periods in Batman's time the criminal was the one from the 30s and 40s The original stories the comedian was from The killing joke time frame the clown was the death in the family time frame. But sadly that's not the case but in my head Cannon that's what I'm going with three different Jokers from three different distinct periods in Batman's life converging together.
I am now incredibly selective with what McFarlane DC figures I get. Most of the time I just plain don't like the engineering of the articulation. Like, I'd kinda like the Comedian Joker if it had better engineering. There's only so much that can be done with that outfit, but I'd like to have seen the coat done like Marvel Legends do the robes on movie Doctor Strange figures, torso as a single buck that tapers inward and rounds out at the bottom, with lower part of the coat as a rubber overlay that comes up and over the less-detailed sculpt of the bottom of the single-buck torso. There was even the perfect place to make that cut to implement that kinda articulation: at the waist where the sash is tied.
its very easy to cut that and get more if you are ok with customizing . That cut on ML's works because they are 6 inch figures and the jackets are mostly open so its sounding more like its the scale that gets in the way . I myself def prefer 7 inch figures over 6 but there def are more and sometimes better from the 6 range . I hope you find something that you like and works w/ other figures
Just managed to find the Comedian at Gamestop retail and boy, oh boy… I’m impressed by the headsculpt and the printing. Sure I wish this figure included the handgun to reflect the “Killing Joke” storyline, but the crowbar still works well imo. He’s definitely unsettling and that’s great!
I can't help but laugh at three things he says. Those being, "BRING ME THE CLOWN!", "Joker's not taking any crap from you today." and lastly "You DARE.. walk into my hideout?"
For mcfarlane figures it really depends on what torsos joint they use. Most of the time it's a ball joint but sometimes with figures like the joker with a rubber torsos cover it's a ratchet like hinge system
Love these I got the clown and comedian ( mainly because he's basically the killing joke joker) Thes mcfarlane blow the marvel legends out of the water with paint and having a much cleaner ab hing
Hey Robo, when you accidentally popped the arm off the criminal, it gave me an idea of what the problem might be for his other arm: maybe the "butterfly joint" cover is installed backwards and not symmetrical, therefore causing the arm to not go all the way down and just needs to be flipped around. I tried to rewind to see if that was the case on the other side, but it wasn't shown. Might be worth looking into if it bugs you.
Robo, I like them all. The story is a must read for a Joker fan. I had to get the Batgirl. The Batman also looks good. I need to see him in person. McFarlane always kills it with sculpts. The lack of detail in paint apps is where he could improve; the buckle and other parts would add flourish. There was so much reuse .I still think the Arkham Joker is his best Joker. 🥊Review;)
I’m currently collection these action figures. I have The Comedian. Question. Is there just the three figures that are in this video in this collection? Is this the full Three jokers collection or should I be on the look out for other figures to complete the set?
All I have to say is that you def should read the 1st issue of 3 jokers . It's shocking and a great way to start the series although when you get to the end it seems like they dropped the ball towards the finish but it's def still a great story .
I saw that the crowbar from the Red Hood and Clown Joker are thinner and thicker from one another but not sure on which one of those two crowbar sizes they gave the Comedian.
Great review per usual but I’m still out don’t care for 7 inch, I neither have the time or will to cut them down to six inch I am getting the Lobo he’s an alien I can fudge him in to my lines.
Maybe they used the same sculpt because they basically are the same character?! In order to confuse Batman, in terms of story, of course. I didn't read it yet, as you, BUT I think that's a plausible reason)
the only thing I don't like about the comedian (killing Joke Real Joker) is the color of the pants. the gray looks unpainted. wish it was the purple of criminal Joker
I thought so too until getting it in hand and it doesn't look as bad as I thought it would. There were cameras that size in the 70s and 80s so it's not too exaggerated but it is a big camera no doubt.
Kinda lame that the Comedian Joker also came with a Crowbar instead of a gun. Crowbar was the Clown who killed Jason Todd. Comedian is Killing Joke who shot Barbara. Feels like thats how it should have gone.
Kind of wish the comedian came with a tommy gun but I know about the stupid gun rule with Warner bros or something. Am I the only one who thinks of the "heres to crime" scene form the killing joke with the comedian joker?
*spats Chiaroscuro was daVinci’s understudy and big in the shadow work, lending his name to the style. Lightly surprised at least first one wasn’t more Jack Napier than comic Joker. Is that the same hair in all three? Or just the two, then third has hair modded into hat? Kinda wondering now if Todd will remake Watchmen, and use that trenchcoat for Rorschach? Nice figures, just not for me.
Looking at their faces just made me realise Willem Dafoe
would be a great Joker.
He is spider mans joker lmao
@@tylerjohn2098 The green n purple foe
I've been thinking the same thing bruh
George McFly would also make a good Joker. Crispin Glover!
Willem Dafoe is a really great actor, one of my favorites
I was really most excited for the Comedian as well. The Clown I liked a lot more then I originally thought when finally getting it in hand. I've never seen such good reuse and all pull off looking so different from one another. The more I looked the more I found the same like all having the same hair sculpt when looking under the Comedian's hat.
I didn't even think to look under the hat!
Amazing thing is they managed to nail all three Jokers’ likenesses to Willem Dafoe even without consent to use his likeness
..thats right!!!
And it's also amazing that the Marvel Legends team used Dafoe's likeness for their upcoming (not 1st appearance/non-comic accurate) William _'Sabretooth'_ Dafoe figure.
It was probably just beneath the exact likeness of him to get away with it? That’s my guess, cause you’re right!
...they def nailed William Dafoe's face perfect!
I did not know that they all shared most of the same parts, it's so well hidden by the paint and the overlays!
Exactly, I really was a bit shocked when I realized what was going on!
That Joker fish looks like it was played with for 20 years.
Ooh I'd love to see the Clown head on the Comedian body.
The Clown and the Comedian definitely have me interested, but I almost wish they fused the two together. Dang Robo....you were really feelin the Winnie the Pooh laugh, weren't you? 🤣🤣🤣 Sik

I couldn't believe it when I found the GS exclusive in store 2 weeks ago! Love these

A repaint of the first 2 heads would make 2 excellent Willem Dafoe head sculpts!
I am now incredibly selective with what McFarlane DC figures I get. Most of the time I just plain don't like the engineering of the articulation. I kinda want all 3 just to have the alternate heads to mix and match
Entertaining and Awesome 3 Jokers Definitely picking these up Excellent , funny review
I think the criminal is my favourite!
Thanks!
I can't help but laugh at three things he says. Those being, "BRING ME THE CLOWN!", "Joker's not taking any crap from you today." and lastly "You DARE.. walk into my hideout?"
Spats. Those shoe covers are called spats I believe
Yes. I believe the Joker even mentions them in the animated series episode The Man Who Killed Batman.
As a huge joker fan these are incredible! Just finished the three yesterday
For mcfarlane figures it really depends on what torsos joint they use. Most of the time it's a ball joint but sometimes with figures like the joker with a rubber torsos cover it's a ratchet like hinge system
Best plastic leather I’ve seen! Love all three head sculpts too
Those eyes on The Comedian are horrifying!
The Criminal is my favorite in both the comic and among the Joker figures
"Joker's not taking any crap from you today." -Fwoosh
The Comedian is my favorite design out of all of these and he would preferably be my joker
Love these I got the clown and comedian ( mainly because he's basically the killing joke joker) Thes mcfarlane blow the marvel legends out of the water with paint and having a much cleaner ab hing
Yeah. I only have Bizarro for now, but he blows my Marvel Legends away.
Another amazing video by fwoosh
All three are great.

I was caught off guard by that intro for a sec
🤔...Hummm...welp, I'd say that these are the most loveliest Comic Book🃏Joker figures of all time...🤘🏼💯✔️
Really annoyed at WB's no gun policy for these figures. Was happy to find my Batman TAS Gordon pistol works well with Comedian/Killing Joke Joker.
Robo, I like them all. The story is a must read for a Joker fan. I had to get the Batgirl. The Batman also looks good. I need to see him in person. McFarlane always kills it with sculpts. I got the pink and green one
I’m currently collection these action figures. I have The Comedian. Question. Is there just the three figures that are in this video in this collection? Is this the full Three jokers collection or should I be on the look out for other figures to complete the set?
I need you to show us your full collection!!!!!

Great vid robo. I was wondering during if you were gonna do an action force overview with their full release
If they ever did a 3 joker movie William Defoe Christopher Walker and Joaquin
Nice Cape, for the Superman
First we got 3 Jokers now we got 3 Spider-Man
I really hope McFarlane makes Spiderman figures!!!
And I'm probably going to need three credit cards pretty soon.
I love this story and definitely need all three but if I can only pick one up it’s definitely the killing joke one
Really dig the looks of these Joker-s just not the scale.
The target in my town had batgirl and red hood .
Does the jacket come off of the clown joker
I really want The Comedian he looks so damn good
Hi Robo, do you prefer a minimalistic packaging like this line or a more dynamic design box?
I really don't have a preference, unless it makes it more difficult to open. It all goes in the trash afterwards.
You really should read the 3 jokers it's fantastic. And the reason the criminal does laugh is because it physically hurts him!
The lower legs are also a different color than the knees and thighs... Nicceeee
Into the Jokerverse
Couldn't quite catch it here, but I think someone said the crowbars are slightly different.
I saw that the crowbar from the Red Hood and Clown Joker are thinner and thicker from one another but not sure on which one of those two crowbar sizes they gave the Comedian.
I think the clown figure is my favourite
Awesome review! Are there fakes on eBay? I’m thinking of buying one but I’m afraid to get ripped off
I have all of the Three Joker figures ordered except for The Comedian. I already have him.
Slightly large is an understatement
Cant wait for batman and whoever else there is been a sub scince the begining remember the green screen
Great review per usual but I’m still out don’t care for 7 inch, I neither have the time or will to cut them down to six inch I am getting the Lobo he’s an alien I can fudge him in to my lines.
Surprised that Robo hasn't picked up the MK Joker.
awe these are nice... still need the clown....
Maybe they used the same sculpt because they basically are the same character?! In order to confuse Batman, in terms of story, of course. I didn't read it yet, as you, BUT I think that's a plausible reason)
That third one is a literal nightmare.
This is really cool
Wait until you get the MK11 Joker to add
Imagine if Fwoosh Did a Review of Gomez That Would Be CRAAAAZZZZY
Get Beast Kingdom DC, Robo! I have WW and AquaMomoa. Getting 89 Bats n Joker.
Robo you're looking for the word spats that's what the white thing over the shoes is
👻I'm wondering if the heads are swappable. Pretty sure they are... Then again don't wanna risk breakage. 🤔
The Winnie the Pooh laugh
I hope they reuse the coat from the comedian to make Rorschach
The Criminal was the best one in the comic
Great review robo🔥🔪
Joker is 6'5, and Batman is 6'2, so Joker being a tad taller than Batman and even Superman, whose 6'3 works!
Woooo!
where is that superman from
Read the comics, it's really good. You will not regret it
You should definitely swap heads between those three.
Can you do the red hood and Nightwing 2 pack next
Mmm mmm good.
The shoes are called spats.
If Batman is so smart, then why didn't he know there were three Jokers?!
the only thing I don't like about the comedian (killing Joke Real Joker) is the color of the pants. the gray looks unpainted. wish it was the purple of criminal Joker
Nothing screams Robo like not reading the source material
Spats are what they’re called
But if you spat out the word spats, how many more times would you need to read spats, before spats wasn't a word anymore?
Spats
Willem Dafoe! I see Willem Dafoe’s faces!
The plural jokers is joke’ie ( joke I )😂😂😂😂.. I’m gonna call them that when referring to all 3
Jokers's !!!😏 I've never been told my etiquette Is smooth like butter but in my mind this makes sense to me. Also me....."🙃"
@@EddieNova 😂😂😂😂😂 glad U agree
The criminal Joker kinda looks like William DaFoe
Hi Robo
I found the criminal and the clown.at GameStop .
The weirdly large accessories really throws these off for me. When Robo put that camera over the Comedian's neck, it looked absolutely ridiculous.
I thought so too until getting it in hand and it doesn't look as bad as I thought it would. There were cameras that size in the 70s and 80s so it's not too exaggerated but it is a big camera no doubt.
I would have liked a baseball bat or mallet as a weapon or even a knife instead of two jokers with a crowbar. That way you could switch em up a bit.
Kinda lame that the Comedian Joker also came with a Crowbar instead of a gun. Crowbar was the Clown who killed Jason Todd. Comedian is Killing Joke who shot Barbara. Feels like thats how it should have gone.
Boohoo! I was waiting for a head swap
Tommy Lee Jones joker oh yeah.😂
Kind of wish the comedian came with a tommy gun but I know about the stupid gun rule with Warner bros or something. Am I the only one who thinks of the "heres to crime" scene form the killing joke with the comedian joker?
Too bad mostly all the good Batman figures don’t scale well with them.
But fwoosh....there 7 inch
*spats
Chiaroscuro was daVinci’s understudy and big in the shadow work, lending his name to the style.
