Indeed. As an evil super villain of course he loves to lie, but he also loves telling harsh truths to his opponents, as well, since his sadism can indulge in the anguish of harsh truths as well.
For a cheesy episode, the Mutant's actor didn't need to go this hard, but he did. He nailed everything about a campy comic villain. Dude gives me Green Goblin vibes
What? The green goblin was way cooler and scarier than this guy.
He plays the Haunted Mask as well.

The Masked Mutant is one of my favorite Goosebumps villains.
i hated this guys portrayal though of the mutant he laughed way too much i think he overacted. The character seemed too much of a disney villain

0:41 as a published science fiction writer myself, me and the mutant have the exact same problem when it comes to writing a good story. Coming up with original characters is always tough.
My creative writer instructor once told me in college that to be a good writer you have to read and write, read and write.

4:24 is this theme supposed to tell us that Skipper has triumphant over evil or does this theme mean he's becoming evil. Cause the laugh at the end kind of makes you question his nature now. What is Skippers life plan now?
The MAsk Mutant may be camp as fuck, but he's still as cool as fuck and a typically villain that needs to exist too

Then the dad flies in through the window wearing a super suit and lands next to his wife. Then he places his brief case on the kitchen table and kisses her.
Dad: Well Skipper I guess it's time for me to finally start training you. Nice job beating the mutant by the way. Sorry I was so against it earlier. I just didn't want you to start crime fighting too early.
Skipper: Thanks dad. But I think I can manage now.
Then Skipper and his dad embrace each other with a hug. Then his mom joins in only now she's wearing a blue unitard with a black mask and a red cape.

@@Daavhimself From what I recall, the book ending has Skipper cutting some cake for himself and his sister Mitzi and accidentally cutting his hand on the knife. Skipper bleeds ink instead of blood (meaning he is still a comic book character), and he asks Mitzi to give him the new comic book that just arrived, implying that his comic book adventures aren't over yet. All in all I would say it was a neutral ending at worst, because Skipper doesn't seem too fazed by his new condition.
