Mission: Impossible: Dead Reckoning Part One is a fun and finely tuned summer blockbuster hit that warrants a visit to your local theater to see all that it has to offer. The seventh installment in the Mission: Impossible franchise has an enormous scale and the entertainment value to accompany it. Mission: Impossible: Dead Reckoning Part One manages to rise above the doom and gloom of Mission Impossible: Fallout creating a film that packs an explosive, self-reflective, and surprisingly funny time for moviegoers. Tom Cruise and company once again leave us not only wanting more but compels us to eagerly count down the days until its sequel slated for 2024.

One of my favorites was Fallout
Christopher McQuarrie wrote the script of "The usual Suspects" and invented the mother of all plot twists with it. He is more than capable for 10 more M:I's

Just watched the movie. Pretty enjoyable but Fallout definitely beats it by a mile. A lot of the extended dialogue sequences just brings the momentum down a notch.
*Entertainment.* That's what people want from a theatrical release.

just saw it, a great 9/10. The biggest takeaway from the movie is that it suffers from 'part 1 syndrome' where lots of answers and "plot holes" have to be answered in the 2nd movie. Like a lot of the characters' backgrounds aren't layed out and the macguffin hasn't been fully explained. But to make up for this it has great action set pieces and thrilling scenes accompanied by the best score of the franchise.
If it will be answered in the sequel then it's not a plothole.

MI 7 has serious pacing issues --- the first 30 minutes were tedious and boring. Villain Esai Morales, who is a magnificent actor, doesn't have any memorable lines, which is a shame. The plot had too many threads, similar to a restaurant with 150 items on the menu. The movie would have been MUCH better if an hour was edited out. The Tom Cruise movie "Oblivion" is 100 times better.
Love the part where Com Truise said "It's reckoning time!" and reckoned all over the place

I’m so happy to hear that this is one of the funniest ‘Mission’ movies. My only nitpick with the otherwise stellar ‘Fallout’ was that it was too relentlessly po-faced and grim.
Ghost Protocol’s crowd-pleasing mix of full-throttle action with light-hearted character moments was the apex of the series. Thrilled that McQuarrie and Cruise are embracing some heart and humour again.
This was the movie where Cruise as a producer was fighting to keep the production alive at the height of the pandemic right?

Actually James bond is a spy movie, so most they do is infiltrate, modern audience expect it to become an action thriller. If you watch the first few installment with Sean connery, you will get the idea.

Holy moly.... watching the same clips from the movie in this video over and over again, while listening to one of the most unnecessarily tedious comments, made this so hard to watch. IGN needs to do better.
Just saw it to day, it flew by so fast. This is one of the best movies I've seen in a very, very, very long time. It was exciting, serious, fun, silly it had absolutely everything. The results of the famous motorcycle jump was a laugh out loud spectacle.

Watched it last night in Milton Keynes, abslutley brilliant movie. Greatly script, acting, fantastic action scenes and car chase, also the movies has brilliant funny scenes. Its a must watch movie.

Saw it last night with the mrs, and we both give our predictions before the film, and we both said 5 stars, and after the film finished, we have our verdict, and yes we were both right. 5/5. Loved it.
