There have been plenty of democratic "far-right" (i.e., nationalist) parties, and they did not abolish parliaments - say, in Isr**l or Poland or Switzerland or indeed Italy with Lega Nord in the ruling coalition. In fact, many of the well-established democracies were established by parties with "racist" attitudes, such as Australia or the US.
This is as ridiculous as saying the Labour Party is socialist, ergo it would act the same as the Bolsheviks in 1917 Russia.

And even after that being said, there's still plenty of communists and fascists trying to shape governments under a democratic approach, they view democracy as a way to implement both ideologies (Far right Id. and Far-Left Id., that is) without the need of a totalitarian state.
