Who is Elizabeth Branert? That’s the name showing for Caroline Moorhead in the video.

yes. That was my (Mitch) mistake. I forgot to change the screen title from the interview before. I regret it. The correct name is Caroline Moorhead. Regrettably its hard to replace once recorded.

This is a major foul-up . Raises questions about your competence as a host.

I'm just curious about what the author means about "Mussolini architecture". The post office in my town (Miilton, Pa) and the town hall in Predappio Italy (I've been there) could have been designed by the same person. It's just Art Deco.

My grandfather, who lived in central Italy, was part of the resistance, and he and the family that came after him absolutely had no love of Mussolini or
Facism. My family was never taken in.. even if he did make the trains run on time

thank you for this interview, mitch. while i appreciated it, i disagree with the guest's conclusion. i too was born and raised in italy, and my experience of my compatriots is that many are perennially waiting for the "strong man" who will fix everything. this makes them very ready to fall for propaganda and to follow authority's lead. not a good set-up. of course, italy has also given birth to great resistance fighters and thinkers, but if we consider the tendencies of the masses, there's little encouragement. Paolini said it best th-cam.com/video/nJ35Q8X6xDk/w-d-xo.html
