Very peaceful to live in that area, its nice to have farm animals like chickens, ducks, cows once your house is ready, then plant some vegetables , fruits, herbs and crops that you can use for cooking.
Yes, make a kitchen garden! so you can harvest fresh vegetables. As long as you know how to cultivate under the tropical sun and weather and have enough water! In some places it can be quite a calange to produce anything in the Philippines as there are many bugs!
If lomboy is duhat,before you have it cut,you can have it several branches markoted,and pot it,the excess can be sold,you dont have to wait long next fruiting season,

Cherry fruit is red/dark red, whereas lomboy is dark blue/black color. Lomboy fruit tree takes years to grow. If I were you, try to earth-ball it and replant it somewhere in your lot. You could be enjoying its fruits in the years to come. Also, the dried leaves of lomboy is typically use as tobacco wrapper to create something called "lekin" - it's the indigenous equivalent of cigarette where the tobacco wrapper is paper. In some way, its very eco-friendly way of smoking ;-). But smoking in general is not good for ones health. When I was still a boy, my Lola would ask me to collect dried Lomboy leaves she use as wrapper for her "lekin". 👍👌✌👊

Sayang ang Lomboy. . just cut a few branches to make it short like bonsai but still bears fruits. This fruit is so rich in vitamins & minerals & it is a medicinal tree. . the leaves, the bark & the fruit as well are good for diarrhea.👍👍Bats will not stay with trees that has a house near it because of the people staying the house & the smoke the people will create of burning leaves or garbages.
