I think Catcher is fun. I’ve done it before and I highly recommend it because I personally think it’s a very different gameplay style just because you have to make split decisions more often where you’re deciding who’s the priority to throw the ball too based off of speed and stuff like that. You get some pop fly situations and a lot of situations where you’re deciding whether or not to throw the ball and it’s always fun being the guy responsible for protecting home.
I went to a couple of the combine ganes back in 2019. They were really good. Guys were swinging for the fences to show off and the outfield play was awesome.

i tried making a catcher this year and it's actually really fun and interactive. you can call pitches late game, throwdowns to 2nd, putouts in clutch situations, etc. i'd recommend if you were thinking about it
