@@LouiePawsonI can almost guarantee the issues will be resolved by the weekend, so atleast everyone will be able to play over the weekend. I actually work in aviation, for a corporate business jet company. We need more pilots! I highly suggest doing it if it is something that interests you and you want to travel. Can be very rewarding!
It’s a very expensive thing to do for most people. Most commercial pilots are ex military because for 99% of the world the only way to get a commercial license is to spend around $30k on a PPL and then work as basically an indentured servant for a few years to build your hours. It’s easier said then done is my point and the pilot shortage has nothing to do with interest it’s expense.

Use pitch for speed and power for altitude. If you want to fly higher increase power but keep the same pitch. Want to decrease do the opposite. Want to stay the same altitude but slow down, lower power slightly and pitch up slightly.
Well.. he would have known this if he didn't go skipping the lessons.. This is an issue known to jet people in these sims.. they don't know the basics when it comes to props, or really any aircraft.
I have a great idea for you! Since the new sim has a walk around feature that allows you to walk away from the plane it would be so cool for you to fly to the Grand Canyon and then do a sim of the real hike you did. Video attached. This would allow everyone to see how well the Grand Canyon was modeled in the sim. I’m especially excited for career mode but I do think my idea would be better in free fly. Thanks so much for entertaining me and acknowledging some of my ideas 💡
You and I think a lot alike! Episode 2 is going to be climbing Mount Everest on foot lmao. It's insane!! Definitely going to do the Grand Canyon and some other hikes and mountains as well 😍
I’ve been feeling so unmotivated to play any game but flight sim has brought a love for gaming I’ve lost over the last few months back man what a game!!
Haha LOL using the Space Shuttle Landing Facility "aeroport" as a starting point is hilarious Trev! At least there you can never complain about the runway beeing too short when learning how to land :D
Please read this Trev. There's this one game called: "Away (the survival series)". It's a very realistic story AND open world game where you play as a sugar glider, the game also has high graphics and takes place on an island. Everything about the nature is just so beautifull and there is lore hidden throughout the whole game that you can discover. I'm very sure that you will absolutely love playing this game and that it wil be very entertaining to watch. The story takes about two hours to complete when not actively searching for the hidden lore. You have to survive against big predators like vultures, wolves, spiders, and big cats. The game is also narrated like it's a documentary that you are playing. I really hope to see a video of this game soon. I love your videos, deffinitely do not stop this series soon either❤
I first discovered you through FS2020. Been a big fan ever since. The way you really bring us along for the ride and just have fun while informing us a little on the side is really cool and just makes it feel like we're all friends here. Thanks Trev
I wish my private pilot checkride was this easy 😂. Really cool to see this career mode. Hopefully this clears up some of those unknowns of this industry and inspires more people to pursue this career.
"Hey TmarTn2! Loving the start of your Microsoft Flight Simulator 24 career series! The visuals are stunning, and your commentary makes it so engaging. Can't wait to see how your skills develop as you tackle more challenging routes. Keep up the awesome content!"

I think I can speak for everyone when I say we have been waiting for this game, for you to do this series, since it was announced! So stoked to watch the future episodes
20:56 The Beluga flies literally right over my flat a few times a week, such a cool plane. There’s a place not far from me where you can go and watch them land and take off
It's funny you talk about the ATC and 'talking' that go on as you're flying, and missing ATC comments. I've always had a 'No Talking' rule at takeoff, and again at landing in real life. But - GREAT JOB on the sim with the noisy passengers, lol. I can't wait to get into the new Flight Sim!
Well done Trevor. You seem pretty pleased at your choice of Home Airfield, being near the ocean etc, but I guess you didn't take into consideration your proximity to the Bermuda Triangle. Congratulations on passing your PPL. Looking forward to following your career.
You should try learning the systems of a plane like this, once you learn a 172 at a good level it’s much easier to fly everything else realistically it just takes time
My grandad is teaching me to fly atm irl and a good thing to remember is that in a GA plane aim for 70-75 kts just above the threshold and then 60-65 kts on touchdown
Make sure to watch your RPM’s! You were redlining it most of the time. Also, try using a notch of flaps when landings. Helps you to slow down and create more lift at those slower speeds. Also, when they say exit runway when available it just means take the next taxiway you can safely exit on in the direction you intend on going
Hey Trev, im not far into the video so maybe you notice this later but, on your garmin display, there is a white bar on your airspeed bar, this is the "VFE" (Flap extension speed) below that you can drop your flaps and greatly decrease your airspeed for a smoother approach :) (Your ideal landing speed is 65-70 knots with full flaps
Trev, things got weird because you picked a runway with no parallel taxiway, and I bet the AI was having a problem figuring out your routing. I'd try KORL, Orlando Exec.
I been absolutely loving this game only thing I dont like is in career mode when your getting a certificate they just throw you into a new plane without any kind of training on how to operate it. Have to go to free flight to learn the plane then back to career mode.
