    It is a lot easier, quicker and neater if you put all the food on half the tinfoil then pull the other half over the top so the two halves meet one one side. You then roll the edges as you would if it were on top. To open you simply slit the packet down the middle and you have a easy neat serving bowl.

      It kind of depends on how hot your coals are but we usually let them go at the edge of the fire for about 15 minutes.

    I would first put parchment paper on the foil....not a real good idea to have food directly on aluminum foil....the parchment can take up to a 400 degree heat.

      I have been told this a couple of times so I guess I should look into it. we have never used parchment in over 50 years of camping with my parents but maybe the foil has changed over the years, Thanks for the tip.
