- Fluke dosing ewes. 2nd Fluke dose of the season. I talk a bit about the dosing.
I wont be 100% accurate with all my info and you should always speak to your vet for advice!
Every farm is different in terms of the fluke burden.
I try to not be very specific but it’s just my understanding of the different fluke drench ingredients and effects.

@@TheSheepGame joking apart, can sheep get Corvid? I know there have been cases in dogs and cat. My papered wethers Love contact and scratches from me but run from others. So if I had Corvid could I pass it to them?

Good vid!👍🏻 nice to see how other farmers do things. Rycoben is about as good as water down here in the west country. Vets told us not to use it because of resistance.
daniel lobb Cheers mate!! I think a lot of places down south probably don’t need a third fluke dose. But yes there is massive resistance to white wormers. Only really useful for nemitodirus in lambs.

Yes George. This isn’t really too bad and the snow here only usually lasts a few days before rain comes. The breed out here are a hard hill breed.

I’ve kept all my mule ewe lambs from last year to sell as gimmers in September. Thinking about selling a lot of blackies with lambs at foot to reduce them and increase the number of mule ewes.
