it is showing a issue E: Unable to locate package andriod-tools-adb after I type get install command
I can't install the apk, its giving me this message : Failure [INSTALL_FAILED_NO_MATCHING_ABIS: Failed to extract native libraries, res=-113] I'm honestly really confused and would appreciate some help.
Always check the spelling also try a different apk some apk are just not compatible . Maybe u missed a step .

Help please I installed the apk it said succes and I was unpacking the file and it says “turn on chrome os developer mode to install apps from sources other than the play store
I have a video how to turn on developer mode but it will require factory reset .

So the real challenge is that Google is now using APK bundles. Can you please give a tutorial on how to install those types of APK files please? For e.g., I have Minecraft PE but MS is sneaky and does not want to make it available on Android on ChromeOS (completely Google's fault for allowing developers to fragment the Google Play Store, IMO).

Hi..thanks for the video and it was really helpful but i need to ask, when i tried to install a file in linux, inside of the terminal, it says i need to run this as root. How do i know what is the password as i don't recall setting one when i enabled linux within the chromebook?
I think that's asking you for chromebook password but its been a while since I created this video not sure if things changed .

Try this video once u enable developer options there is a section enable adb that might fix it . Not positive though I never had issue where it’s grayed out for me

Seems like something is wrong with the file u downloaded . Try to find different apk file of spotify . Make sure it ends with .apk and drag it to Linux folder . Some websites even though they say apk download the file u download isn’t apk

Hi!, I did everything from the beginning until I get try to install an .apk , I keep getting "command not found", I'm sure I'm typing everything right , do you have any idea how to fix it and install an Apk?
Usually whenever u get that msg means you didn’t spell something right . Check the spacing . Also check for example if u saved file as Firefox.apk don’t enter command firefox.apk it will get u that error

Hey Bro, after enabling ADB and rebooting, a window appears to confirm activation, but it quickly disappears, even if you have time to click, this option will not turn on. How to fix it?
Not sure about that . I would assume it could be school or company Chromebook and it’s preventing it .

How to fix?
the apk u trying to download has a verification check and it failed it. Try a different apk.
Does this have the potential to work in chorme os flex?
I haven’t tried flex yet but if there is option to turn on Linux I would say that yea it’s possible for it to work same way . Just enable Linux if there is option in settings and install some easy apps like vlc player and libre office and see how it works

You can play Sims Free edition that's on google play store. Other than that you can only play Sims 4 with xbox cloud gaming which requires subscription and controller. Chromebooks can't handle Sims 4 graphically unless you do cloud gaming which would be mostly internet based.
