She is so genuine and real I really appreciate her journey through nursing school and her journey through nursing overall her motivation is key and also her saying things happen for a reason and also her asking God what am I supposed to learn from this is amazing hopefully you continue with your journey and wish I had a friend as genuine as her I learned to surround yourself with people who will tell you truths even though you wouldn’t want to hear it
I’m most grateful for my mother seeing 60 on yesterday even though she is very sick. Also I’m very grateful to be on this nursing school journey and for it to be over in April.
I’ve definitely been painted as an Angry Black Woman at work. At first I ignored it but the stares and the certain way they spoke to me made it a reality. The touching of the braids to the we will let her drown with the patient load. They are threatened by young, educated black women who don’t need to be reminded of what to do at work. They will act like they are here to support you but they will throw under the bus several times.
Did you work and go to nursing school? I have doubts like I’m so scared that I may not be smart enough and I don’t have any good study tips! How did you stay motivated and encouraged to finish?
