    Im so tired of people saying build the pc yourself. Dude some folks out there have jobs and are willing to spend money and not going through any effort. For the same reason some people go out to restaurants for dinner rather than cooking at home.

      more important, what happens when you do everything perfect, fire it up and nothing happens.

      I think everyone that can experience building a pc themselves should do it themselves. It is hard to understand many of the things at the start but it’s a long and interesting ride that becomes many peoples hobbies. I used to not really enjoy learning about these topics however after delving into the world with a little bit of time and an open mind, it really made the experience very rewarding, specially after building a pc myself

      thats true but its something that needs to be said you can make in informed decision. LTT showed that one of their computers being built is about $1000 more than a DIY computer. while another company with the same specs was $2000 more expensive. that extra money could go towards monitors, keyboards, lighting, desk, chair. to just back in your pocket.
      it also depends on your budget. noty everyone has 4-5 grand just laying around and have to save up for a computer. so knowing different prices makes since. everything has its pros and cons. don't want to spend a lot but also don't want to have to worry about wether or not components will work together? get a console.
      up for challenge? build a PC. cons: it may not turn on, on the first try. you may make mistakes. you might buy the wrong parts. you wont have a warranty on the entire computer and a lot of fixes you will have to do yourself. but its yours. you can make and customize it to however you want. you know what parts you have inside and out, and you can upgrade however you want. my friend built my first PC. i tried building my next and that was 10 years ago. I've upgraded the motherboard, GPU(multiple times), CPU at least twice. and now I'm building my next computer. full persona 3, black and silver, 4 ssds, 1 m.2 drive, etc. making a custom keyboard and mouse.
      lazy and have money to burn? have someone build one for you.
      you're right you ld go to a restaurant, but to the farmer who takes the time to grow each piece and raise the animals to finally have that dinner they made with their own two hands? sure it takes longer and mistakes may happen but nothing is more fulfilling.
      again why there are farmers and people who go to walmart. its not for everyone. so you can be upset and tired that people say its cheaper to build it yourself. its true. but its also up to you to decide what to spend your money one. building a PC is so easy nowadays compared to 20 years ago. its basically plug and play.

      @@katkall2 then you didnt do everything perfect. there's always a reason. didn't start? is it plugged in? did you flash the bios in the mother board? did you connect the right wires into the mother board in the correct place? there's ways to check to see if your products are doa before you plug them into anything.

    I built my last PC, and I'm gonna try to never have to build another PC again. That Voyager 2 elite looks, to my limited knowledge, to have everything I want part wise, but the storage situation is making me hesitant. 4tb is not a lot when games currently come at 100gb+ and are only getting larger. I would absolutely plan on adding a 3rd SSD if that's possible. Not being able to upgrade my storage would be a deal breaker, but this is my first time hearing about that. Linus tech tips didn't mention that in his review. I wonder if that's the case in some of their builds, but not all.

      You need to have the right mind for building ccomputers. 100 things can go wrong and you need to be able to avoid or solve most of them instinctively. I started building computers when I was 6 years old. I wouldn't say I'm doing it often, but very little has been added to the process the last 30 years. It's just different hardware specs and different sockets.

    • @JohnSmith-xk5ou
      @JohnSmith-xk5ou 7 วันที่ผ่านมา

      @@AtotehZ Well said. I just don't have the right mind. I ended up getting a beast of a pc from Build Redux. It's great, but when I alt tab from a game or close a game through in game settings, I lose video. I unplug the display port, plug it back in, and it works again. You talk about troubleshooting when 100 things can go wrong. Just this minor problem is too much for me to figure out on me own. I'm taking it in to a shop tomorrow so a real man can fix it. I'm so glad I didn't try to build my pc this time round.

    I bought the Voyager II Elite or whatever the standard most expensive was. With the exchange rate, I also paid a hefty price. The savings for me is time on all the research which was prone for errors, my mail being stolen which happens actually often, and the chance of damaging or installing incorrectly. Now, the PC has to last 10 years to even be worth the cost, but I am still on the last one I built myself in 2015, so here is hoping to longevity.

    Ibuypower actually sometimes uses OEM boards that mean you have to bug a new mobo to upgrade.
    Some pc builders use subpar rams and storage drives to save costs. I've diagnosed and replaced ram for 7 people with shitty what brand even is this sticks.
    Some of them do the same with the graphics card and get them from incredibly questionable sources.
    I value transparency for pc parts. While I self build, i certainly see more value in starforge then orgin, Ibuy, cyber and the likes.
