    I would turn the ball hitch over so it can't bind up. It looks like it works fine like it is except for almost rubbing on some sharp left turns. Cool build.

    I like the jack knife preventer.

    The only thing I would do different is, I would put the trailing mower offset to the right instead of the left. That way the trailing mower would cut up the discharge from the lead mower. Resulting in a cleaner look for the yard.
    If you really wanted to go wild, build another one and pull 2 at a time for a 170 inch cut.

      I didn’t get it on the video, but it has been used both ways and it depends. I usually double cut the yard to checker board the yard anyways but yes your right

    That works slicker than a goosed cat lol good job
    I need something similar to do fence lines where we run electric to keep our cattle etc in on the farm

      Thanks when I have some extra time I have a few other pull behind mower ideas and was going to do different sizes as well and something I'm working on right now just to see if I can do it is a 38'' inch zero turn remote controlled!

      I built that one from a spare 60 inch exmark i had for parts and the deck to the front casters i un touched thats factory and then added the back wheels tried casters and was not good fixed wheels seemed to work best and then mounted engine to deck inline with belt as best as i could so the deck can still go up and down with original foot and hand controls sometimes i pull it with golf cart it can be off set or right behind machine hope that video was some what helpful thanks for the comment!

    what machine did you scavenge to base this build?

    what did you build that out of

    • @jakesautofabrication

      I had a worn out 05 60” exmark zero turn it had a blown up motor hydraulics were shot so I basically repurposed some of the chassis the 60 inch steel deck casters and welded a bunch of scrap steel that I had laying around pull the motor off a club cadet it ended up being a Kohler use the wiring ignition turned out to what you see there.

    Do u have a video of building one???

      I saw on the channel. I had some here and their part builds, but when I was thinking is putting it up on the Hoist and doing a video on all the changes and modifications may be from a stock one tour where this one’s at if you guys think that would make a good video

    thats a zero turn deck but what happend

    • @jakesautofabrication
      @jakesautofabrication  3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      It was a 05 60” exmark zero turn the add a blown motor. The hydraulics were shot. Most of it was rusted and seized up, so I repurposed it for a 16 inch pool behind that got a donor motor off of a club cadet and used all the wiring ignition to make it I’ll come together

    AOK, just way too many parts

    • @jakesautofabrication
      @jakesautofabrication  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      yeah there is a few but the only thing added to the what would be the middle to the front of a zero turn that got used to build this is the engine gas tank a dash to a riding mower for the switches to start and turn the deck on rear tires and hitch to tow behind anything but yeah thats 5 things added to a half a zero turn the rest of the deal is all original thoughts were to put a big aluminum hood over it but it worked so well and did the job havent got to that stage yet lol

    I like that hitch system you made. I'll probably do that on the one I'm building. Maybe I'll post the build @watchthis7165

      Nice the only thing I needed to make it work better was is to make it hinge up and down as well. Hopefully that’s helpful for when making yours.
