- The #Porsche911Turbo has been known as the supercar killer for years and for 2021, #Porsche is introducing a completely new version of the #911Turbo. With nearly 580 HP from its 3.8L twin-turbo F6, it makes the new #911, nearly as powerful as the old #911TurboS from the 991.2 generation. If you have $200,000 to spend on a supercar you can drive everyday, this should be at the top of your list.

Nope. Would rather spend half the money on a safer, less ostentatious, and faster Tesla Model S Plaid. Plus the Tesla would pollute less and be safer in several ways (and attract less police attention). But I get I'm in the minority for your audience.

My friend owned one but had to sell it to pay for his daughters education, always regretted it, nother education but losing his car.

The non S Turbo is for me the sweet spot for incredible performance and daily drivability at a “reasonable” price. Which is why mine is coming in May.😎

Yes less hp...not sure if that is just the overboost mode or not though. Typically the non s turbo can make the same hp once tuned

Rwd 911s are actually as good as any fwd car in terms of traction in the snow due to engine placement.
But this 911 is awd so I imagine it's pretty decent with traction in the snow.
I always loved how Porsche decided to keep the exact same look for the 911 throughout the years, only giving it small modifications to keep it modern.

Good review. Some attributes that you had failed to mention with the 992tt is that they can handle extreme driving conditions (ie track driving, repeated launch controls, etc.) without breaking a sweat, they are very reliable even when driven hard unlike McLarens as well as Lambos AND they have a relatively low depreciation rate, as long as you don’t go nuts with the options (which makes the effective cost of ownership relatively low).
I don't think you're going to find a better 911 review. Nice job!

@@iluvcakes19 i just got back from a trip where i drove a model 3 performance for the week and I own a tuned SHO which does 0-60 in around 4.5-4.6. I got used to the tesla so now it feels like my car has a turbo out in comparison 😂

@@cliffordzellner5917 Ferrari and lambo offer incredible driving experiences...yes more enjoyable than the Porsche. And I am a 911 turbo owner. For the best overall car the Porsche wins though. Performance, cost, and reliability.
@@TigR5hark I love my 911 turbo. The only thing that is holding me back from getting a 458 or 488 next is the excessive maintenance.
For the seats, I believe the American-spec car does come with a slightly different seat covering with full power.

I just bought a carrera s 992 and I immediately want a 992 Turbo. This test car however has been horribly optioned and imo you honestly only need about 8-10k in options on top of the base price. This may be the most affordable everyday supercar period.

I wish reviewers would stop saying the back seat is not usable on 911. The purpose is for young children and storage. It is very usable for those purposes. Just compare that space to a 2 seater without it. I’ve fit 2 fairly large luggage and 2 carry one and a garment bag in a 911. EXTREMELY usable compared to any competitive sports car except maybe a Nissan GTR

Really nitpicking the manual seats. If I spec'd a 911 turbo I wouldn't want a heavy sunroof ruining the center of gravity.

I actually like the analog tachometer. I'm not convinced that digital gauges have the instantaneous response despite the low latency.
my grandma can get the same acceleration numbers. that's the problem. these cars are so amazing and effortless, and compensate for bad drivers. the star is the car, and not the driver. get a 911 T or R, or even a GT350, if you want to feel like you're driving the car, and not the other way around
I think people misunderstood the mission of the turbo/turbo s. You can always turn off traction control if you want to feel like a hero :-) Traction control off and on the track it is a completely different car and will surely kill you if that is your wish. The best comparison of the turbo/turbo s is John Wick.. it is completely normal, unassuming just goes about it’s business does not bother anyone but if you want to go full nuts or nuclear, it’s just a button away and your right foot dictates how brave you want to be. Like I said it will kill you easily it just hides it’s arsenal pretty well. In full attack mode very few will extract 7/10 of what car can do on track let alone on public roads.
That center gauge and left side ignition is tradition. Dont lose the tradition for the sake of "progression"

Because you need a us license plate in order to drive. Play you can tel it’s not a us spec, because it doesn’t have reflector lights
The 911 turbo actually comes as standard with full power seats and a full leather stitched interior but if you don’t want the race Tex seats you are going to have to remove the full power seats that is why and the turbo stitching on the headrest is standard too but you can option it out
Messed up it comes with sport full 14 way adjustable seats but if you prefer the sport plus shape but don’t want to spend any money for the 18 way you can get the free 4 way for free

Why are all your cars glove boxes wet?
Absolutely amazing the feat of engineering Porsche has done to bring this level of performance to the market. I'm waiting for them to crack the 2.0 sec. mark from 0 to 60mph! If any manufacturer can do it, it would be Porsche!! They may have to goto a hybrid version using some electric motors with the twin turbo flat six. Let's hope Porsche never goes to 100% electric for this model as it would absolutely destroy the feel of the car.

It's for lightness and so they can be mounted lower in the car.
@@smora6054 well you get what you pay for, if you want a blend super car that will shame some cooler super cars in terms of speed, handling, ride comfort, practicality and a cheaper price, you get a 911.

I know it would slow it down a little, but wish they would offer it with an optional manual transmission.
