    This is amazing! Many food deserts are in African American neighborhoods. Many senior and disabled people there don’t have vehicles to drive to grocery stores. Thank you 🙏🏾

    This is a great idea, they should add home deliveries to nearby seniors who can't get out.

    People with low income need a card to swipe in order to get this service, from experience I have know people to get free food at Salvation Army, free stuff at the free store and they have incomes of $40k+….too many cheaters taking taking away from those in need and it has to stop🇨🇦

      40k is nothing compared to the housing prices in Toronto and Vancouver.

    How did healthy food became expensive?

      When big business aided by corrupt government started creating unhealthy, processed addictive ‘food’ that makes people sicker but fuels their health and insurance industry. Bigger question is why are there food deserts.

    I had no idea this was even a problem. Why are all the grocery stores out of business??

    It's really sad that the greatest country in the world have starving people I live in this country I'm a United States of America citizen I was born here raised here and I'm doing the same with my kids luckily in the state that I live EBT AKA food stamps provides enough food for myself and my children every month with having a child that has disabilities I don't get the luxury of working because I have to give him care all the time why are people in our country still starving it's not okay and it needs to change

    If we can do this for inner cities, why isn't it being done for Indian reservations?

    Go back a few years...these areas had grocery stores.. they burned them down.. and now the rest of us are supposed to feel sorry for them...this is insanity..

    • @someguy2135
      @someguy2135 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      So you are saying that everyone who suffers from the effects of food deserts participated in the arson of those grocery stores? It would be insanity to claim that.

      @@someguy2135 it's like the 7 degrees to Kevin Bacon.. I know reality is scary to people like you.. but it is reality. what's insane is denying reality..

      @@NORTHBROOK1978 I don't doubt that you think that you countered my point, but you did not.
      You implied that the people in food deserts should suffer because someone burned down the grocery stores in that area. You did not explain why that should be the case.

    • @NORTHBROOK1978
      @NORTHBROOK1978 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@someguy2135 these areas are created by choices.. choosing not to work.. choosing to have children they can't take care of to get a check from the government. Choosing to destroy their own hoods. They do that to keep rent down. No one's fault but their own. They systematically destroy areas and choose to do so. It's reality..

    • @someguy2135
      @someguy2135 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@NORTHBROOK1978 Cause or effect? These people live there because they can not afford to live elsewhere. Many of them were born there, and will die there. I have lived long enough to see the descent from wide spread middle class prosperity to the rampant poverty and homelessness caused by policies of the Reagan administration. Slash taxes on the rich so they can be even richer, and the schools lose funding and become less and less able to teach properly to help students rise from poverty into the middle class.
      This isn't the only reason the middle class has all but disappeared, but it is one of them.
