Just bought some of these new Morimoto after looking at different options for a while including the Alpharex. Labor Day sale saved $100 🎉 Yes it’s a splurge even so but the look is dramatic and a huge upgrade on my 2010 SR5. Thanks for sharing.

Great video, can the Rear Backup (WHITE) lights be replaced with the Diode Dynamic's Toyota 4Runner Backup Module (USDM), they are blinding bright . . .🤞
Are the tail/brake lights amber/yellow? Really like the blinker lights.

This is definitely the best way to go. I tried installing LED bulbs in the headlights and they don't get along well with the halogen housing. It was a waste of time and money. The resulting beam pattern, putting it politely, is far less than optimal. These headlights and tail lights are amazing, fit exceptionally well and definitely improve the looks and, more importantly, the gas mileage of the 4Runner.

I got the Alpharex, but still kept my original incase. Neve know how long those aftermarket last, I don't want to pay another $600 for it.
The V2s look a bit too gaudy for me. I like my gen 1s, simple and clean. To each his own though.

I love my alpharex but hate those annoying ass fans. It’s enough to make me want to switch.
Do you have the same issue? With no music I can hear the fans loud at the driver side
On the headlights or tails? I can't hear them with the vehicle on.

I play devils advocate. Not a fan of these gen II. But its cool morimoto is making new 4runner product's.

Maybe in the future but not right now. These are for pre-order so maybe they will run a sale but who knows.
The new Morimoto are very cool looking but not a fan of brake and turn integrated into one.
Crazy how bad the brake lights are on the alpha Rex
They don't seem that bad to me. Not as large but sufficient.
So much brighter than the Alpharex. I have to admit in the daytime the Alpharex truly lacks output
Shoot. I like the Morimoto's looks best, but the running light feels very orange compared to OEM and Alpha. The reverse lights also appear disappointingly weak.
There's no reason, when designing tails for an offroad likely model, not to basically have your companies off road pods in there as the reverse lights.
If we're away from civilization, I need to see when I'm driving in the pitch black.
Still a bigger fan of alpharex’s design and customer support. Morimoto’s new ones look like f-150 front headlights lol

All jokes aside though, the headlights are either white or amber. If you look up Raptor tail lights, they look similar.

Still look like Ford Explorer tail lights
When they're activated they scream Ford Explorer. The Gen 1 Morimotos are still the best on the market. The rest all look like they came from Ali-Express.
