Salah has 156 goals and 69 assists in 256 career EPL matches. That’s off the charts for 99.99% of all players who have ever played in the league. Pundits and fans do not appear to realize the reason why players like Salah and De Bruyne generate so many goals. Both players are extremely aggressive and actually take risks in the final third. More and more players, including attacking players, are increasingly fixated on keeping possession and playing safe instead of taking risks to generate goals. Both Salah and De Bruyne are fixated on generating goals because that is their responsibility, full stop. They can frustrate fans because they’ll lose possession more than other attacking players but their goals generated numbers are off the charts for exactly the same reason. Salah and De Bruyne are not twinkle toed dancers with very little end product like Silva and Grealish. They are both uncompromisingly direct and generate so many goals precisely because they are willing to lose the ball in pursuit of creating goals.
Bernardo Silva is incredible mate. Don't put him in the same bracket as Grealish. Bernardo Silva is like MacAllister an all round footballer.

Silva is very talented at keeping possession. But he’s very predictable if you actually watch him every game, which I do. He has one move, which is to dip his shoulder and cut back onto his left foot again and again. Silva has 39 goals and 40 assists in 227 EPL appearances for City. He averages a G/A contribution almost every 3 games, which is nowhere near elite. Yes, he’s good at keeping possession and helping set the tempo for City. But players like him and Grealish are a huge reason why Haaland rarely receives the ball because they refuse to play first time service to him in stride. Both players constantly cut back inside and pass backwards and sideways far too much.

Has Paul Ince ever watched Salah?? Salah is one of the best players in the Premier league right now alongside Haaland and De Bruyne. I would argue, he's currently one of the best players in the world.

Salah aint world class. I agree with ince. In terms of goalscoring then yes he has world class goalscoring ability, but in terms of being a world class football player, he is rly good but not world class, van dijk world class, allison world class, trent world class, robertson world class, but not salah, when he is off form, he is rly bad, when he is in form he is good but he plays in moments too much

Salah plays well for a few months, then drops off for a few months, and then plays well again, and so on so forth. A lot of pundits and fans don’t realize players like Salah and De Bruyne generate tons of goals precisely because they are willing to take risks and lose possession in pursuit of goals. Football today is so focused on possession that players like Salah, De Bruyne, and Haaland are now all being questioned. When the reality is goals are the name of the game and all three of them are off the charts.

He's scored more goals in england with a less glamourous team than neymar in spain and france with a dominant team. So, I would'nt say he is not world class. People tend to forget, the pace in england, and the little space he gets in the final quarter of the pitch makes it very much more diffcult to dribble like messi/neymar/mbappe.
