Hi Justin I take it you are working in the Pro version of Sketchup? The reason for asking is that I use Make 2017, I am retired and use it more as a quick sketching tool for drawing up the odd toolbox and woodturning idea. I have been wanting to make a woodturning bowl design that I had in my mind but could not get it to work. The problem was I wanted to use the "Follow Me" Tool but I cannot get it to work, hence my question. I have tried following your example as in Modeling a Segmented Bowl in SketchUp Part 1 - SketchUp Quick Models video but cannot get it to work. Thanks Roger
can i ask how to select group which is behind another group ? / without selecting from outliner ofc / best example is curtain group behind glass or window group .

Hi Roger - I need more information on what exactly isn't working
can i ask how to select group which is behind another group ? / without selecting from outliner ofc / best example is curtain group behind glass or window group .
Right click and hide the group in front of it? Turn on X-Ray mode and select one of the edges?
2:46 what hotkeys do you click to copy in sketchup 2021 in WEB i can't copy
Select object, Activate move tool (M), tap control key to enter copy mode, click...
Great
Thanks!
Good.
👍
A lot of these techniques apply to HVAC work.
Interesting - I can definitely see how this would work well with duct and piping size transitions - thanks Dave!
