- Saturday, May 11, 2024, was one of my best hunts ever. This was my 4th time hunting the permission I call the "Big White House". Several records were broken that day, including most Indians in a day, oldest coin for denomination, and a never before dug variety!
No excuses needed… never apologize or be afraid to show your excitement…. That was a great find! I like these small sub channels because you are more realistic to what the rest of us are like when we hunt.
Thanks for sharing!
Thanks for nice comment!
Among the best finds I've seen of youtube metal detectorists, congratulations!
Thanks! I appreciate that!
Awesome finds, especially the spill. I have found a lot of the same coins, but one at a time, never all in one hole. I would have nutted up if I found that.
Great job.
Nice! I've had my share of coin spills but never old coins like that. Definitely spilled many, many decades ago. 😊
Great haul! Congrats on your finds. Very nice.
I have been metal detecting for about 12 years, haven’t found V nickel and 1900 Indian head cent. Congratulations on a surprise of a hunt with that old coin spill
I have never found any old coins except for Wheaties. Congratulations.
Awesome finds! 😎
Congratulation! 🙂
I had a similar situation a couple of weeks ago where I found 4 buffalo nickels 1 Indian head cent and my first V nickel from 1890 and man was I geeking out 😅
Oh by the way thanks for letting us know about the different types of nickel varieties. I had no idea.
Thanks for sharing and happy hunting! 👍🏽😎
Great hunt. I found two V nickels and a barber dime in the same hole. The signal made I look long I thought I was digging trash I went nuts lol. New subscriber and glad I found you.
Thanks! That spill set the bar pretty high. Lol. The last two hunts at that yard were special to me. I'm happy with the occasional wheat cent. Hopefully I'll have more surprises next Saturday!
Congrats on your finds. Way to go!
Thanks! Hopefully I'll find more soon!
Man I always get excited over coin spills! I've been digging for about 4 years now. I get excited when I see Rosie dimes lol
What a hunt. Wicked coin spill. I would be jumping around and acting like a kid. You are on some good land for these old coins.. Happy Hunting. Peace
New sub here. Enjoyed your hunt very much. I have only been metal detecting for a year, my oldest coin is a 1906 Indian Head Penny. Was shocked when I got home and was cleaning my coins and an Indian popped out.😊👍
Spectacular day. Great bunch of bucket lister for sure. Thanks for the video
Great finds. Definitely a great day detecting. Congrats!👍
Nice hunt. Thanks for sharing. Great assortment of finds. Super 7 coin spill.
Nice hunt. I subbed your channel also
some great finds! congrats. enjoying your fvideos
Heck of a spill - congrats
Great Hunt, I would have been going nuts finding that many in the same hole. Good hunting.
Yeah. Nothing like that ever happened to me before. You never know what you're going to find metal detecting!
Last year was my first full year was last year of detecting at 55 years old😂. My first old coin? 1891 V. On a $100 detector lol. 1861 half dime! Such a fun hobby
Great video, I enjoyed your find
Thanks for watching! I try to capture the moment.
New subscriber awesome coin finds congratulations Chris
Awesome spill!
Nice spill, I,m thinking that yard has not been detected much or really good. Because I don,t think a good detectorist would of missed that spill. Kept hoping for you to find a Barber Quarter or dime with it. But alot of people have never found a 5 variety spill, 100plus yrs. Old. Looking forwards to more videos. Researching old maps is always a good idea, and hit that yard again.😊
Thanks! I'll be back there again this Saturday! That yard is pretty trashy. It's taking me a long time to cover that half acre or so. I think a lot of hunters are discouraged after a few minutes of it. It's slow going around there, but the patience is worth it!
Which eqinox are you using? 900?
It's the Manticore.
The worst thing you can do is rub the dirt off a coin. You can potentially ruin the numismatic value by hundreds off dollars if not more. Immerse the coin in water and GENTLY agitate the coin with a very soft brush such as an old barber's shaving brush.
Can u please let m3 know model number of metal detector? Thank you
I use a Minelab Manticore
Watching you rub dirt over those coins makes me cringe, bud. Scratch City! 🤔
I presume you're referring to copper and nickel. They'll never be worth much just from the environmental damage from the ground. If you cringe from me rubbing them, you will faint if you saw my more extreme methods at home for the super crusty ones.
