Without a point system I would see Den winning, cause I just fell in love with his music, but Hiss always checks every mark, especially audio and video. But still happy that we got so many amazing tracks from BBU!
Not to mention Den forgot the battle point in most of his videos, worse was that he didn't do it for either of the final rounds, practically ensuring his own loss. It's an important part. He did a great job either way, putting out banger after banger even when sick!
I think that's the other reason why he's in the competition, to show what he's got

I felt as though Den should've won the first round closely but given that he went into round 2 down 9-6 I think he knew at best he was probably gonna tie Hiss since he always hits all the criteria. With that in mind I can totally see Den going with an "I'm gonna make a dope track" route. I still preferred Den's round to Hiss' in the second round as well but I kind of foresee a Hiss victory. Hiss' round was great but I wish the counters were better because they barely resemble the people he imitated.
All I know is that I still listen to all of Den's tracks pretty much every day on spotify and I can't say the same for any of Hiss' rounds throughout the competition. Whether it's a taste thing or just the overall replayability of their styles of music I'm not really sure.
Am I disappointed? Sure. I always root for Den because he's a fellow Canadian and I love his music. Do I respect if Hiss wins? Even if I disagree with the results I do. I think C&S's judging system is good in a way but lacks the nuance to clarify the levels between beatboxers in the various categories. I hope they don't reuse it in the future.

@@dartheory4423 Either remove battle points so the participants can make a better music track without worrying about counter and all that stuff. Or just change the concept from making a music video, to battle track
@@eagleoga The answer is simple, actually: remove extra points. They are basically a justification for bias and they are the reason Den unfortunately has no chance to win.
@@dartheory4423 Having a binary system of 0 or 1 is limiting because both beatboxers can be good at something but one might be a 9/10 where another could be a 7/10 but because the options are 0 or 1 point both beatboxers would get 1 point. You can't judge such close battles with that kind of system.

Idk if den can win bc he's already down 3 points which in my opinion idc how good the round was idc what beatboxer it is, it so hard near impossible to win.
For me hiss round wasn't bad but it was like a copy paste copy paste throw in previous round which to me didnt have anything to do with den then the 76543322 thing didnt make since to me.
For den I really liked it I felt like the video could've been better but it wasn't 4k but still was a good video for 1080p both should get a point for video and everything else den should get a point except battle but hiss shouldn't get one either bc he reason didnt battle den.
Finally I feel like this final is on extra points and user voting
but den is gonna lose as you can see in the reaction of chezame they didnt like it that much.
i feel bad for Den bec i think both round where better then hiss. Just my Opinion.
@@DTRIX05 I figured they wouldn't like it they didnt like none of it, what ppl need to know was den was sick my the routine y the video audio and reverb weren't good. Den just posted a video on his TH-cam channel and u can hear he still isnt over being sick

Den can make whole tracks from bass pitching alone. If that's not winner material I don't know what is. I really don't like the judging system of BBU. Hiss made an awesome piece too.
