Any chance when you do these, you could post the save file in the description/comment? I enjoy doing disaster save type stuff but I can never find good places to get the saves
I just want to say watching your disaster saves actually helped me alot. I am doing a russian play through and I accidently picked a fight I could not win (Until I was punched in the face with them I did not realise how much tech, tactics and moral could overcome numbers disadvantage... the person I attacked did not have those but their ally did) they were about to go swarming into my country and after clashing with their main army twice my 200k man power was about to be depleted in less than a month. Watching your guides allowed to me see a way to temp boost my war score and settle with only giving them a few provinces rather than letting them run rampant and absoulutely kick the shit out of me.
I know I am three months late but if you are saving a disaster, that is thoughtful of you thinking of the player in decisions but if they were up to the task, then they wouldn’t have sent the file in for help. I hope in the future as I start to watch all your videos that you just make command decisions to set them up well and if they want to turn it back to whatever you changed it to save them then that’s on them. You do a great job and thank you for explaining the moves you do.
I know it’s implied you’re supposed to unite Japan, but it’s more powerful to just play ashikaga and start stacking influence ideas and policies to get high vassal income. Just vassalize a number of countries as daimyos, and take some land directly to maintain a good dev ratio, manpower, and standing army size. I’m wanting to do a campaign where I snake across steppe as ashikaga, somehow get land adjacent to the hre (ie Teutonic order), become kirishitan and get elected hre before 1500. I don’t know if that’s possible, but I think revoking the privilegia would save on several wars in Europe. You could do a world conquest this way with no rebel concerns, no liberty desire, little coring.
Bro I played Japan with 1 EU4 DLC and I regret it ming literally had more morale than me JAPAN idk how they never got declared on but it must be because they aren’t nerfed as much in vanilla eu4
Little useful tip with rebel spawns. If you hover over the rebel spawn percentage in the rebel screen it will highlight the province they are going to spawn in on the map.
You know, I honestly feel like bankrupting and just letting Korea take what they want would have been better because you can always retake cores once your economy is actually in working shape.

Bro I could send you just all of my saves
@@jpanda79 lmao you got any good ones?
cool video, i wish japan was real
same
One day.
Emishu pagan lords wouldn't allow that, though.
Only if fixing Japan's debts were this easy in reality.
UwU
All they need to do is invade both Korea and China, taking all their stuff.
You would like Japan to invade Korea and extract war reparations?
Imagine Greece
Greece be like:
Never realized chewyshoot was a patron of you. He makes good playthroughs
Honestly im prefer for another disaster save content, because it give me more lesson than an ordinary run
Everything started when japanese found some cool looking new wepons from random porteguese ships...

Japan going from sick man of asia to Sicko mode.

Sounds possible but before 1500 will probably hard
Is the Catholic incident possible before 1500 without RNG Jesus fucking you up?
I love disaster save vids! Thanks a lot !
This looks very much like my first Japan run
Mr quarbit i really enjoy ur content and appreciate the vids u make, u deserve more subs
That thing about separatists spawning is amazing info
He's not in bad debt he's just doing Abenomics
I love these disaster saves
why did they take away the ability to see your total debt??? Been trying to figure this out
mistakes happen, a bit unfortunate that the most interesting part of the video was lost tho. How do you like playing japan?

Can you so the next video when he undoubtedly screws it up again? Speaking for myself cause I suck at eu4.
How can you screw it this much up
I don't ask questions, I just fix the saves

Shouldve just gone for bankruptcy right after attacking korea, used that money to build buildings and the mana points to dev up
imagine winning as oda only to lose as japan
Going for humiliate instead of taking land against Korea was a weird choice if you ask me
had a big problem with admin deficit so coring land was a very low priority
the only good eu4 TH-camr
