If you want the face to have the same movement, you need to add a lattice modifier to each Grease Pencil object like I did in 22:34 If you want the face to be Parented to the mochi, parent it the same way I parented the highlight to the mochi in 11:22
Do you struggle with a particular part of the rendering process? I normally leave the settings at default (1920x1080 and 24fps) and just change the format to PNG.
