Me too! I’ve missed it so much! I checked the channel so many times during the last month in the hope that there would be a new video on Becky’s house❤
Becky's house reno has been my favorite series on the channel for a while now, it's gonna be a sad day when she finally finishes everything........ I hope she changes her mind on style choices indefinitely and continues to make 70's house videos FOREVER
I like the way you’ve remodeled your house section by section. Showing young homeowners that they don’t need to go in debt spending thousands of dollars trying to remodel their house all at one time. Starting a project and then finishing it before you move onto the next one. I loved the green.
I missed this series! more of that 70s house please 😁😁😁 doesn’t need to be whole makeover/renovation videos - I think we just wanna hang out in your house 🥹
I loooooooove these stairs 😭 I’m so glad you went with something more “bold” like this. They’re perfect. Now all I can think about is seeing plants in some funky pots on that ledge, for life of course, but also to cover up some of that beige tile 😅
OHHHH MYYYY!!! Becky this is the most dreamiest, groovy, stylish 70s staircase I've ever seen... the final revel left me speechless. SOOOO stylish yet soooo cozy which literally is mcm for me
Becky!!! Truly full sent this space, and it is so freaking good. Took a typically slept on/neglected design area and gave it so much personality. The dopamine I got from watching this transformation is next level. Also, loving this cool/winter toned personal style journey for you
I did not want this video to end! That's how much I love any content related to your home Becky, Austin and Danny! Your 70s style is IMPECCABLE Becky!!
If you're not already, I'd recommend following Jenna Phipps. She and her man are in the process of renovating a mid-century modern home in BC, Canada, and it's been my absolute favorite thing in the world.
31:47 I love how Becky choose a stain color that matches Danny’s fur 🥹 The stairs turned out so good 👏 I just think some plants in that ledge would look so cute 🪴
The stairway looks great and is such a vibe! Love that Danny is now comfortable with it and has a new nap space too. When he’s happy all is right with the world. Well done, Becky (and Austin)! 😊
I literally have never loved something more - such a good color combination!! And the lights are so smart and amazing aesthetically. Girl, you blew this out of the water AND you're looking as stunning as ever while doing it. You and your vision have never been better 💚
What a fantastic transformation! I love how you stayed true to the 70’s vibe while addressing the practical need for carpet for Danny. The lush carpet and rich stained wood paneling look amazing, and the stair lighting is such a great touch! Can’t wait to see how the rest of the renovation comes together. Thanks for sharing this inspiring makeover!
OOOOOHHHHH!!! Grass green plush carpet and wood paneling is one of my favorite combos - so '70s! You did a fabulous job. Keep that mid-century groove alive :)
I stumbled on to your channel and yes I lived with this green carpet when I was a kid. My parents were up on all the latest home decor back in the 70’s, 80’s. And even crazier, I’ve been watching a 70’s sitcom that I use to watch when I was a kid called “Bewitched”. Her home is all green carpet & green decor. You have to pull it up on TH-cam. Your channel has put a smile on my face. Thanks so much. Wanda 62yrs old, Orange County California. 😊
Yay Becky is back in the house. Thai series makes me smile because I grew up in the sixties and seventies. I love your style. I’ve been wanting to try that spray foam perfecf timing
WOW! Mind blown by how freaking AMAZING this turned out to be. The green carpet definitely fits the rest of your home perfectly. That retro vibes. I love it. Well done Becky. Oh and by the way... the dark hair looks so great on you.
as a woman who was actually a teen becoming an adult in the 70's the colour green thats more in keeping with that era is an avocado green or a green mixed with yellow - its a hard choice because, I got very tired of the colour as it was everywhere we went - in fact my mum didn't have any of it in her house except in an appliance or two....I still loath it but for some reason the new updated versions of this colour is really fresh and don't seem as depressing...nice job!!! (just one question - why not paint the railing in black to match the bars on the upper railing?)
I am so impressed! I've been watching you guys for many years and you're always so inspiring. My grandmother's basement stairs were wallpapered on the ceiling and shag carpet, so this video made me so happy.
This was so much fun to watch. Becky your design triggered memories of several family homes I visited when I was growing up in the 60's and 70's. The coloring of the wood paneling, the texture of the carpeting (color also). the glimpse of the black wrought iron banister, and the light contrast created with the stair lighting, all reminded me of the homes of two of my sweet aunts. Also, last but not least, the mood created reminded me of a spot at Graceland (yes, That house in Memphis); specifically the passage between the kitchen and the family den just behind the kitchen. Thank you so much for this glimpse of the past. So glad you are living well with Austin and Danny.
I tried the whole video to get excited about the green.. its definitely giving 70s. Though its not my preferred choice, seeing how absolutely excited both you AND DANNY were about the carpet is what matters. The lights were the coolest addition, i really hope you start a new trend with it!
Hey Becky! I watched the personal style video yesterday, and I just wanted to say, I also LOVE autumn and 70s colors like that green! I wanted to give you a tip as a woman who has been interested in color seasons for a while. You can apply not the colors but the basics of winter to your lovely wardrobe. Winter is all about contrast, think about a shiny snowy landscape with bold winter berries. So maybe you can apply more of a contrast and play with bolder or darker colors of autumn whenever you like. You can wear high contrast colors. Or a bold lip in autumn colors. Maybe a smokey eye, some glitter... It's so cool that you can handle such contrast if you wish. Your style is so lovely anyway, such an inspiration. No need to change 💐
Underestimated how much I would love the final product. ALSO you look absolutely radiant this entire video. The colour of that burgundy/plum hoodie suits you SO well.
I love everything about this makeover. Love the color of the carper, love the color of the stain. Love love the addition of the lights on the stairs. A++
70s is my favourite decade too....fashion, hair, afros, disco, funk, soul, rock. I often think I was born in the wrong decade or I had a past life where I lived and loved it up in the '70s
Ive been watching the sorry girls videos for years and sometimes your videos just make me sooo excited because you make something that is so perfect and amazing that I could only dream of doing myself and I thank you for that. These stairs look incredible, I love them I wish I owned a house with them, good job!
Wow, didn't expect to like this one so much! No wonder Danny loves it too! Becky, you look so gorgeous! I hope you _feel_ healthy and gorgeous. Happy Holidays to you, your family, and your work fam! ❤
I would never do this at my house but Becky never ceases to amaze me with her style and how beautiful everything always comes out!! You are so talented and so true to yourself and it's such a pleasure to watch, it's definitely an extension of becky and the perfect addition to this beautiful home
Spectacular! So happy to see you again! Btw, you look more beautiful than ever, meaning you always were! My favourite DIY’er, especially because I love 70s decor, architecture and design ❤
Really enjoy seeing your style evolution over the years and how you've truly embraced what makes you happy. No offense to anyone who loves beige, but I love homes with actual color in them. They feel so much more unique and interesting. Can't wait for the next installment!
Becky!! 2 questions 1. How does your skin look so amazing what are you doing for it? 2. Please tell us where you got that calendar in your stairwell I love it so much and would love one like it as well! Congrats on the new staircase it’s incredible! So so good, you really popped off with those lights. 🎉✨
Such a fantastic makeover. The complexity alone is something of a marvel ! The lights in the wall are the perfect finishing touch. Congratulations and the green carpeting was so worth it. You have exquisite taste :)
Becky!! Mwaahh!! It's incredible ❤ . My childhood basement from the 70's with an updated vibe. And those lights are such a cool addition. Love it darlin!!
You would’ve loved our house before we moved into it like 20+ years ago! Its was so 70’s and green carpet on every floor including the kitchen! It’s not my style but I love that you love it!!!😊
Beckyyyyy I LOVE the new stairs!! 😍😍😍 The colour combo is awesome because the wall stain's redness cancels out some the "neon-ness" of the carpet and the green makes the red look more neutral and grounded. And the lights? THE LIGHTS!? Dead. Done. Demolished. 😵 This space is so, so beautiful and I'd take pictures there all day, every day! Also, love that Danny has found a new favourite snooze spot, so cute! Great job, girl!! 💖
Woah! I was like yeah that’s cool but then seeing the before and after-STUNNING! So vibey/fresh/clean?! I love what I would call bold minimalist- the green is doing the talking/the wood paneling is singing/and the lights are a humming Great vision! Great execution! Great job!
Happy to see that 70s house series back!
happy to be back!! 💚
Me too! I’ve missed it so much! I checked the channel so many times during the last month in the hope that there would be a new video on Becky’s house❤
I want green carpet now in my hallway. xxxxx love your stairway and your boyfriend is cute. I am 68 btw xxxxx❤
This... and I also just love green carpet coming back 😂
Becky's house reno has been my favorite series on the channel for a while now, it's gonna be a sad day when she finally finishes everything........ I hope she changes her mind on style choices indefinitely and continues to make 70's house videos FOREVER
As a dog mom, Danny sleeping on the stairs really melted my heart. I know you just love the stairs 10x more because your pooch does too ❤❤
Aww, I totally agree! Seeing Danny all cozy on the stairs just adds that extra level of love to the space.
Love the darker hair on you, looks really natural and fitting, perfect match!
I was thinking You look younger, thought you got work done 😂. But it's your hair colour. Wow Perfect like your staircase. ❤❤🎉
Brings out the beauty of her eyes -- Becky has gorgeous eyes.
...totally agree that Becky's eye color 'pops' against the dark hair color
I agree. I kept thinking Becky looks so pretty and glowy in this video. And the stairs are amazing. The lighting feature is so cool too!
Exactly as Becky and Austin are a Vibe , and often funny with their commentaries added 😮❤❤❤❤
I missed this series too!
I loooooooove these stairs 😭 I’m so glad you went with something more “bold” like this. They’re perfect. Now all I can think about is seeing plants in some funky pots on that ledge, for life of course, but also to cover up some of that beige tile 😅
I feel like the truly retro thing to do would have been to carpet that shelf. LOL
Yes! Beige tile, be gone!!
@ that would actually look so sick! A little bit more color and retro vibe without clutter of more decor or plants!
I’m obsessed with how bold and beautiful the stairs turned out too! The rich colors and textures really pop.
Never thought a staircase would get me this excited 😂 The lights were genius - good job Becky!! 😍
That outlet location is the sign that you are doing the right thing with those lights! Amazing🥰🥰🥰
Right?? How lucky is that
The wood paneling! The citrus carpet! The lights! The Danny napping spot! All sooooooo GOOD. Love it! What a stairway to heaven. 💚🤎💚🤎
OHHHH MYYYY!!! Becky this is the most dreamiest, groovy, stylish 70s staircase I've ever seen... the final revel left me speechless. SOOOO stylish yet soooo cozy which literally is mcm for me
By far my favourite series on the channel is Becky’s house! This stair project is the absolute best to date. Well done, Becky!!
I totally agree! Becky’s house is by far my favorite series too
Becky!!! Truly full sent this space, and it is so freaking good. Took a typically slept on/neglected design area and gave it so much personality. The dopamine I got from watching this transformation is next level. Also, loving this cool/winter toned personal style journey for you
I'm getting old. All these new phrases. Full sent, slept on, next level. 😮

Wait a few months, new slang will be in then.
THESE STAIRS ARE PERFECTION (and being Danny approved is the most important!)
@@BebeDaull Thank you so much for the recommendation. Will definitely check them out!!
Love how Danny claimed the stairs as a nap spot! Also, Austin and Becky work so we'll together on home improvements.
loving the gallery wall above the stairs! adds so much color and character 🫶🏻
31:47 I love how Becky choose a stain color that matches Danny’s fur 🥹 The stairs turned out so good 👏 I just think some plants in that ledge would look so cute 🪴
I had that same thought!
With her leg stained she probably looks like Danny too 😊❤
DANNYYYYYYYY 🤩🤩🤩
The carpet is not my style, but it is SO YOU and looks great in the space. The lights are a total chef's kiss.
The stairway looks great and is such a vibe! Love that Danny is now comfortable with it and has a new nap space too. When he’s happy all is right with the world. Well done, Becky (and Austin)! 😊
You nailed the70's "Avocado green" my mom has our original 1970's fridge in her basement (still works) and it is a match for that carpet!
Danny sleeping on the new carpet is the biggest compliment and seal of approval omg 🥺💚
The stair's green colour reminds me of Kelsey's favourite colour.
It turned out exactly how I envisioned! Love your adventurous style! I know it’s not for everyone but that’s what makes it unique!
I love it! Grew up in 60/70's and you nailed it!! The lighting for the steps was amazing!!
I love how you stay true to yourself and your own vision. It looks amazing!
Having a flashback from the 1970s when I was a young bride! Great color combo with the walls and carpet color.😊
Becky, you knocked it out of the park! Absolutely stunning! Wish I could give multiple thumbs up.
I don’t know why. But stairs are some of my favorite renovations to watch. 😊
It’s been like seven years and my Danny obsession continues unabated.
I love the makeover, the stairs look gorgeous!
Love it! The lights really elevate it and make all of the other choices look more purposeful
The carpet looks like moss! And it's so wholesome to see Danny enjoying those stairs so much
OOOOOHHHHH!!! Grass green plush carpet and wood paneling is one of my favorite combos - so '70s! You did a fabulous job. Keep that mid-century groove alive :)
wow Becky, you absolutely outdid yourself with this one. the stairs look amazing!

Yay! Another person who likes the green carpet!
Becky being so chilled about mistakes and spills is such a vibe. Love it.
Those stairs are absolute perfection - chef's kiss!
Yay Becky is back in the house. Thai series makes me smile because I grew up in the sixties and seventies. I love your style. I’ve been wanting to try that spray foam perfecf timing

I actually think that the wooden railing is just perfection
Love this!!! Best part…Danny’s new favorite napping spot 🐾🥰
The stairs and this whole area looks so nice and cozy now! Also Becky you look amazing in this video, the hair, the make up, everything!
I am so impressed! I've been watching you guys for many years and you're always so inspiring.
My grandmother's basement stairs were wallpapered on the ceiling and shag carpet, so this video made me so happy.
Becky, I can see you with a few pillows and a blanket, using the landing as a reading nook!! 💚
I love your ambition for such a small space, I bet it's so satisfying walking through it!!
the lighting is CHEFS KISS!!
This was so much fun to watch. Becky your design triggered memories of several family homes I visited when I was growing up in the 60's and 70's. This looks really luxe! Not tacky or dated at all, very well executed! Bravo! 🎉
Absolutely amazing, Becky!! The lights are the perfect solution! Brilliant. Love this series!!!
Oooh I love it!! 💚 It makes every beige staircase look soooo boooorrring!! 😮 The lights are genius and Danny is just the most sweetest fur baby 🧡💚🧡

The lights are truly impressive! What a great idea!
Also, the carpet color and the wood tones are PERFECT!
Seeing the results, the previous stair looked like from a hospital, an old hospital 😅 I LOVE IT NOW and I love it for you ❤
Underestimated how much I would love the final product. ALSO you look absolutely radiant this entire video. The colour of that burgundy/plum hoodie suits you SO well.
I love the retro vibes in your home and this stair makeover coordinates perfectly. Danny is adorable too ❤
I think this is my favorite reno you’ve done in the house!! Those stairs came out GORGEOUS
thank you so much 💚
It's such a good example of what is a NEXT LEVEL design! Investing in this is not obvious but the outcome is CRAZY! Love it so much!
The colour feels more avocado than citrus! The teak colour worjs perfect! The lights too! Oh my goodness so lovely!! Congratulations!
Becky, ❤ the color combination and the lights are genius! Absolutely beautiful! I have enjoyed your remodeling videos!!!
Love the staircase! It turned out beautifully!
I'd add a runner rug on the landing, too. To break up the light coloured flooring and for comfort.
I love everything about this makeover. Love the color of the carper, love the color of the stain. Love love the addition of the lights on the stairs. A++
Great choices on the carpet and lighting! I love how you know what you want and just GO for it!
70s is my favourite decade too....fashion, hair, afros, disco, funk, soul, rock. I often think I was born in the wrong decade or I had a past life where I lived and loved it up in the '70s

Love your house! What’s next? We ll we get to see a 70s kitchen?

I would never do this at my house but Becky never ceases to amaze me with her style and how beautiful everything always comes out!! You are so talented and so true to yourself and it's such a pleasure to watch, it's definitely an extension of becky and the perfect addition to this beautiful home
Loooooove! Have had the house you referenced saved on my inspo board for ages and I’m so happy to see someone else make the green carpet magic happen!
Didn't realize I could love a stair makeover this much! Such a small space but what a huge impact!
They turned out so perfect! Now you have to either use that green carpet to add a rug to your house or put it in a room for Danny!!
I think it turned out amazing. I never would’ve considered green carpet but it ties really well with the other pops of green in the house.
I love this!!! The green and the teak/walnut color is perfection!!!! ❤❤
I love the wood panelling and green shag carpet combo! Can't wait to see more makeovers in your home.
WOW, so that foam spray precluded your need to replace the vapor barrier?! THAT IS AMAZE
Becky!! 2 questions
1. How does your skin look so amazing what are you doing for it?
2. Please tell us where you got that calendar in your stairwell I love it so much and would love one like it as well!
Congrats on the new staircase it’s incredible! So so good, you really popped off with those lights. 🎉✨
Finally! The Video Series I love the most on the Channel... Great title picture and outfit!!
THIS IS MY FAVORITE SERIES
This is my favourite stairwell makeover I’ve ever seen before 🥰
Such a fantastic makeover. The complexity alone is something of a marvel ! The lights in the wall are the perfect finishing touch. Congratulations and the green carpeting was so worth it. You have exquisite taste :)
Oh I’m OBSESSED!❤️ This adds so much character and 70s charm to your home!!
Becky!!
Dead. Done. Demolished. 😵
This space is so, so beautiful and I'd take pictures there all day, every day! Also, love that Danny has found a new favourite snooze spot, so cute! Great job, girl!! 💖
Woah! I was like yeah that’s cool but then seeing the before and after-STUNNING! So vibey/fresh/clean?!
I love what I would call bold minimalist- the green is doing the talking/the wood paneling is singing/and the lights are a humming
Great vision! Great execution! Great job!
That's beautiful and so on point with your style! Danny's coat looks very pretty on that green!
WOW!!!! Love the colour combination and your brilliant idea with the lights is amazing!!
