I am in love. I am 78 yrs old and you got me girl with all your projects, but this creation for Christmas is 😚I love the wild side of this tree. I can see it in my home.❤
I think the tree is beautiful, Dani. And you're not alone when you say you have two competing styles battling it out in your creative psyche. I am a colour-loving, maximalist, boho, art deco lover and a minimalist, elegant, luscious, glamour-loving freak. I can borrow from both realities but it's definitely a challenge and a balancing act 🙂Thank you for doing what you do. I feel inspired and part of a larger community because of you and some other great women like you.
Omg! I love it!! I love the Christmas season but have gotten to the point in my life, I'm 65, that I'm over putting up and taking down a tree and all that goes with it. Currently giving all my Christmas decorations to my daughter and son. BUT I can see me doing this!! Just the tree for me. The possibilities are endless and if stored correctly... easy peasy for each year!! And it is definitely THE statement piece.
Love you showing how DYI is an evolving process....I kept hearing Ross yell "Pivot" in my head on every change. Thanks for being real about the process and loved the final tree.
This is adorable! I created holiday trees for my porch by using wire tomato trees, turning them upside down and then wrapping them with garland. I used floral wire to attach the garland to the frame. Once the garland (which is anything I want to use) was on, I was able to easily attach all my decorations. I can change these up as I want every year. There is nothing quite as magical as a dopamine tree for any holiday!🌸🎄
I love this tree. Very beautiful. You never seize to amaze me. The pom pom package is adorable. So glad you are putting out an x-tra video. Thank you for all your inspiration.
OMG I love it. It is perfect for your studio and I can see a lot of people having fun with this. Have a joyous holiday season and of course send it to your mom first. Yes she would tell you it is great but I bet she would never let you embarass yourself so as a mom of adult children i approve your decision. My love to mom as well she did a great job raising an exceptional daughter that shares her joy with the world.
I’ve noticed recently when reading through my mom’s magazines (benefit of a boomer parent) that holiday DIY and crafting is in! Bright colors are in! I didn’t see a single spartan tree with all light wood ornaments and only white decor. Instead it was bright colors, glitter, felt, paper chains, and bows! They had instructions for children’s crafts (including a bell ornament made out of a paper cup). I feel like joyful, colorful, nostalgic Christmas is back!
I put baby's breath and red and cream flowers all over my tree this year! I'm alllllll for any kind of floral tree 💐🌲 It's gorgeous! I totally need to try this!
Fairy lights…I have a love hate relationship with them! I currently have 7 strands of fairy lights around my room! I love the light they give but getting them on,whew! I have to be honest, when I saw the inspiration picture, I thought I wasn’t going to like it. But then you made it and oh my gosh! I’ll be trying this! I love it all. I don’t decorate to normal standards, I do what I love! I have bright yellow and fushcia pink walls, lots and lots of dopamine! I never understood how much my environment affected me. Then I decided to just do what I wanted and I love it! So this tree would fit right in! I have only one more person to buy for and then I’m done with Christmas shopping! I did a lot of online shopping yesterday so that got a lot done. I decorated last week because I was going to be out of town until today and didn’t want to have to face it when I got home. So glad I did! Donna
Hi Dani, I loved everything about this episode! The holiday intro was so cute, and as a beige minimalist girly I actually LOVE this colourful tree. It is chefs kiss, and has such a cuteness factor!! Great job!
Love this!!!! I feel like sometimes people forget how much courage it takes to be creative. Trying new things all the time is very brave, and that's at the essence of creativity. So you're like a warrior and your weapon is DIY. :)
Does anyone else find it ironic that Danie is asking for a dopamine rush while sitting in front of a poster that says “Don’t Rush Me?”. Wonderfully whimsical project.
I love your channel and that tree is amazing, like everything else you do. Can I just say how much I relate to your sewing issues. Tension, bobbin tension, bobbin facing the wrong direction...gah!!!
When I sew annoying fabric sometimes I use washable glue, the purple one, to attach things together temporarily. And sewing is so hard and if you don’t do it often it’s such a struggle so never feel bad ❤
at first i wasn’t sure the skirt for the tree was necessary, but when the vision came to life I understood how necessary it was to complete the vibes the look the joy 😳😎💖
It’s your Frida Kahlo tree!!! Nobody knows how to work through that creative process with more perseverance than you, Dani! It turned out beautifully and it truly is perfect for your studio 🩷💙
I love the result! Unconventional trees are the best. Because I don't buy decor and keep a minimalist household, I have done some wall trees with paper, postcards, ribbons, and recycled material. It's fun to think outside the box, and fairy lights are a must (I keep those on year-round). Happy Holidays to the team
I love the tree!!!!!!!!!!!!! (When I spray paint anything with stems or fronds I lay out decent paper under it, changing between sets, then I have yards of 'free' artistic wrapping paper. If it works with what I am doing, sometimes it is more than one colour.)
You get an A+ for creativity and perseverance. I'm happy that the tree makes you so happy. As for me... well... I'm happy that you're happy! 🤣 I DO love your hair! It looks gorgeous. And I always enjoy your enthusiasm and creativity.
Perfect tree for your studio! I have a Barbie tree that I've had for 25 years with a Christmas Barbie as a topper, Barbie ornaments, and old Barbie doll heads over the light bulbs.😊😂❤
I know you're not a sewing channel, but a trick I found (through various sewing/costuming channels) for sewing Tulle by machine is if you put some tissue paper underneath the Tulle. It keeps the fabric from getting eaten/caught by the machine and the paper tears away really easy when you're done sewing. Also if your sewing machine keeps giving you problems, you might consider taking it to a service to be cleaned. I had trouble with mine just being weird™ and I couldn't figure out what was wrong and once I got it serviced, the weird problems stopped. Just a couple thoughts! Love your channel and all the projects you've done!
I like how we got to see your process, and how you showed us when things went wrong and how you overcame those difficulties. I feel like I learned more than just how to put a beautiful flower tree together, I will be watching more of your videos to see more solutions! You have a new subscriber!
Hey Dani! I just had a thought! 😯 What if you cut out a bat on cricut and add it to your moon light? I was thinking that surely cricut has heat tolerant sticky material you could use. It probs wouldn’t work but it would be so cool to be able to call Batman! (Just when you need extra help!🤭)
When spraying the foam it looked like the shape of a tall garden gnome. That may be another future art project. I loved the white and blue before the additional spray. But in the end it turned out beautiful. It is absolutely adorable with the tree skirt.
Absolutely gorgeous! Oh my goodness you are so hilarious 😂😂😂! Love your videos you bring so much inspiration and happiness to us all! Gorgeous tree idea! 😊❤
You did great. People need to realize you need to try things. Sometimes they are great other times not really good. Thats the way we learn😊. Keep on crafting ❤☃️🎅☃️
Love the tree so much, it's just so different and so adorable! As someone else said, your hair is STUNNING! Just such a pretty cut and color on you. Also, the red lip is iconic. And lastly, I am still madly in love with Kenobi, he is such a perfect, beautiful dog!
I have a ton of thrifted artificial flowers I bought to help decorate for a friend's birthday party, and I love love love this idea as another use for them! I know you said it's hard when you're doing everything for the first time and don't know if it will work, but watching you do that always inspires my creative juices. Thank you so much for sharing with us!
This is beautiful for a colour loving personality. I have made myself a Halloween themed tree this year out of dead branches and cute skull, ghost and pumpkin ornaments I painted. It has brought me so much joy to see my funny little dead tree.
I can relate to feeling split about decor styles. I love to see dopamine decor but couldn’t live in it full time. Also love that you send your mom a photo of everything first!
So cute! Love this! I think the tree with a bit of white would look as pretty. Giving more of a wintery-vibe. The tree skirt! I applaud your determination. That's where I get into trouble. If the process is not working out as planned, too many "bumps-in-the-road", I give up. I get so frustrated with myself as well. I want the one-and-done, don't make me do a do-over. I am working on pushing through!! Have a blessed day!! xxoo
Uhhh....HELL YES I'D TRY THIS!!!!! At my 2nd job we started Christmas decorating on November 2nd and it hated it because it felt so forced. We have a smaller Styrofoam cone leftover and I SO want to make this tree with it!!!! Thank you for sharing this DIY with us!! I'm so grateful for you Dani!😍😍😍💜✌️

I am totally making this tree!
I know, I know.. this is about that super AWESOME tree.. but your hair.. 10/10 this whole episode. And you deserve the compliment!
amazing what a blow dryer can do for a girl LOL
Yes!
Came to the comment section to write the same😂 Purple, blond, rainbow..Dani is stunning!
It's beautiful! It just needs something on top. Maybe a sunflower instead of a star or a bird instead of an angel or fairy, or maybe a flower fairy!
Isn't it funny how you can use that tree as a decoration all year round? It's such a fun idea!
Right? Such a whimsical little to have! I think I want to repurpose it into a wreath after the holidays!
FABULOUS! I love the blue with pops of bright color! I think a bird peeking out from a nest somewhere on your beautiful tree would be cute.
That.....thing being beautiful is VERY questionable but yes little nests with birds would be nice to feel the Huuge gaps of just blue
I am in love. I am 78 yrs old and you got me girl with all your projects, but this creation for Christmas is 😚I love the wild side of this tree. I can see it in my home.❤
I’m 70 and she is awesome for any age🥰
I love that you kept going for the tree skirt! So cute!
My sanity doesn't! haha
Tule is a monster! 😅 but you made it look amazing! ❤🎉

Now you need a tree topper. ❤❤
Yes absolutely...feel the same way....something's missing at the top
@@lorieastside1I also agree, perhaps a star like flower.
Yay Saturday morning with Danie 🎉.
My adult cartoons! Love the tree Danie!
hurray! Thank you so much and happy saturday to you!
Love you showing how DYI is an evolving process....I kept hearing Ross yell "Pivot" in my head on every change. Thanks for being real about the process and loved the final tree.
I love when people think out of the box and run with it!
love...Love...LOVE IT!!!!!
Whimsical, magical, beautiful! I'm going to make a miniature version.

“I could even like *snap* take the top off” 😂
this is why I shouldn't be allowed to craft LOL
@ such confidence!!! It would have taken me like seven days to decide to go for it hahaha
I love this tree. Very beautiful. You never seize to amaze me. The pom pom package is adorable. So glad you are putting out an x-tra video. Thank you for all your inspiration.

This has to be the cutest tree ever!!!! Im in love!!
Hi Dani, I loved everything about this episode! The holiday intro was so cute, and as a beige minimalist girly I actually LOVE this colourful tree. It is chefs kiss, and has such a cuteness factor!! Great job!
Joy to the world!!!! Danie has graced us with Christmas video 🤗🎄
Love this!!!! I feel like sometimes people forget how much courage it takes to be creative. Trying new things all the time is very brave, and that's at the essence of creativity. So you're like a warrior and your weapon is DIY. :)
awe thank you xx
Thank you from all the diy people for not buying a tree and showing us how to make your tree
It's cute. I liked the babies breath with the white showing. Looked more like Christmas to me.
Perfect for an art studio. Very cute.
I thought so too! It wouldn't fit the vibe in my home but it's great for the studio!
Sewing literally makes me cry hahaha My machine hates ME!!!!
When I sew annoying fabric sometimes I use washable glue, the purple one, to attach things together temporarily. And sewing is so hard and if you don’t do it often it’s such a struggle so never feel bad ❤
haha thanks for saying that! Always a struggle for me but I do enjoy the challenge 😅💀
at first i wasn’t sure the skirt for the tree was necessary, but when the vision came to life I understood how necessary it was to complete the vibes the look the joy 😳😎💖
It’s your Frida Kahlo tree!!! Nobody knows how to work through that creative process with more perseverance than you, Dani! It turned out beautifully and it truly is perfect for your studio 🩷💙
I adore it!!! So,so pretty 💙 my only suggestion would be a tree topper! Maybe a huge multicoloured butterfly?🦋
I love the result! Unconventional trees are the best. Because I don't buy decor and keep a minimalist household, I have done some wall trees with paper, postcards, ribbons, and recycled material. Omggg I love this!! I’m the same with the moody and then bright and colorful personality. This is perfect and I’m obsessed!!
So you !!!! Love the colors, the flowers, and the tree skirt. 🧑🍳 💋
I love the tree!!!!!!!!!!!!! (When I spray paint anything with stems or fronds I lay out decent paper under it, changing between sets, then I have yards of 'free' artistic wrapping paper. If it works with what I am doing, sometimes it is more than one colour.)
Not sure you could smile even bigger. That’s the joy of the season! Great job!!
You can use this all the time. Put it in a good place and enjoy all year round. So beautiful!
This is beautiful and it can be an all season tree...for ever!!! I love love love this!!!
Love the baby's breath! Amazing creativity.
Super cute…I think this would be fun in a kid space too…it’s so bright and colourful🥰🪻🥰
Wheee! Your personality is everything! 👏🏻🫶🏻Love ya DANIE!
Omgggg this tree is so cute!!! The colors and flowers are 😙👌🏻
awwee thank you love! Love back at you!
Just love the tree! So whimsical, it certainly fits your space. Bring on the JOY!
I love it! The tulle tree skirt is really thinking outside the box and goes perfectly with the tree.

Stunning!!! Such creative people in this world! Great job. 😍😍
Turned out adorable! Love all of the bright colors!
This tree is wild and crazy and adorable. Love it!
I make something like this...I put alot of baby's breath and dried flowers into a table top tree....people love it.
Very fun tree! I think it would be a fun project to do with the Grandkids💖💖💖
Diane, I love this tree for you. The height is perfect. The fact that it's giving such joy and happiness is everything. ❤❤❤❤❤

@ you never disappoint hitting thst mark love ya girl
It brings Summer vibes into the dreary Winter vibes! Love it!
When spraying the foam it looked like the shape of a tall garden gnome. That may be another future art project. I loved the white and blue before the additional spray. But in the end it turned out beautiful. It is absolutely adorable with the tree skirt.
Looking back, I wish I had left it... LESS IS ALWAYS MORE!
Me encanto la idea .. jamás hago arbolitos convencionales ... perfecta la idea ❤
I especially love the tree skirt!❤
I think you worked your way through this project without more drama than was necessary, and it is a BEAUTIFUL tree.
I love this...and I loved watching you create this. I hope you leave it up long after Christmas is over.
I love the tree! I want one to put up all year round! 😍

It's lovely Dani! Great job and imagination! 😊💖🌲🌸🌺🌼

I can relate to feeling split about decor styles. I love to see dopamine decor but couldn’t live in it full time. Also love that you send your mom a photo of everything first!
The 💙🎄is awesome 👏 but your skin is glowing !!!🤩
Dani, JOY is right! Fabulous! Love it!
I’m in ❤ love with this tree even better you can keep it up all year around.

Dear Danie, only you can pull out this beauty tree for Xtmas....Congratulations... you can keep it until late spring....

Love it. I might try a table top one
I understand your artistic thoughts and talent, the tree works for your new studio vibes.
