We went to Japan's legendary Tsukiji Outer Market and feasted on wagyu beef, uni and more! This is a food market you don't want to miss if you're in Tokyo because they serve the freshest seafood and street food you can find in the city. It is also easily accessible by public transportation but make sure to come early (and hungry!) because it can get very busy!

Thank you F & N ........for reliving old memories of Tsukiji Market and the delectable food items available.
That moment you savour the wagyu was definitely the highlight of this video.
I will heed Flora's advice to go early to escape the long queue.
Thanks!
It was better than I expected... and we already got the cheapest one 😅
Thank you so much for watching 🙏🏻🙏🏻😄😄
Tsukiji market is one of the truly enjoyable Japanese experiences in Tokyo. Foodie haven. Funny reaction from Nora to the actual price of the knife. Enjoyed your vlog. Thank you.
yes, I too, know that feeling of having your first wagyuu. It's heavenly
Wow, amazing best Japanese cuisines. Great video, keep it up ! Thanks for sharing Flora & Note.
Thanks so much, Chaw!
@@FloraandNote lt's my pleasure 🫰
Drooling! OMG, what a amazing market.
We miss that wagyu already! But we're on a mission to find more affordable beef so we can eat more 😆
Very good video, someday I have to get there to Tokyo. I guess the Wagyu was the height of the trip, looked great. Thanks again for a great video. Stay safe.
The food looks soooooo good❤
We're still drooling thinking back to the uni and wagyu 😋
Watching your videos make me want to go Japan immediately 😍😆😆 thank you so much for sharing your happy moments and I can’t wait to watch more Japan episodes from you two!!! 👍🏻🙏🏻😃🥰
Thank you so much! We have a new Japan video coming this Saturday!
Hi @FloraandNate. What time were u in Tsukiji Market? TY
I'm so loving this new Japan series from you both Flora and Note. You both should visit The Tokyo Sky Tree Tower. Also I would love to see you both be on the Super Mario carts in Tokyo.
I love having my leftover sashimi/sushi for breakfast 🤤 Raw fish is surprisingly a tasty breakky 👌
you guys are so precious, youve earned my subscription to your channel _
thats a nice video . good food there
Hi guys Japan looks awesome 👌 I'll put on list 😊
New favorite channel ❤️
Thank you so much 😊🙏🏻
I remenber the matcha ice cream from the fish market . that was really good.
the moment when you guys were eating the wagyu....it looked like Note was having an epiphany....so funny. Man...can't wait to be in Japan next year!!! that market is pure awesome. And I love how you guys did the intro of the video...the fast flipping of the pictures along with the beats of the music was sooooo amazing!!!! you guys are the best!!!
Thanks so much! Happy planning for your trip next year!
Omg, high quality wagyu beef, uni rice bowl, steamed abalone... you all ate a luxurious treat for the Japanese in one gulp, didn't you?
It was all too tempting!
The wagyu skewers with uni are expensive I wanted to try but passed we ate all you can eat wagyu and unlimited beer at Rokkasen in shinjuku it was melt in your mouth delicious for just a bit more than just 1 skewer , hope u try 🎉🎉🎉
I’ve never had sushi for breakfast either, lol. “Abalone poo” 😂😂😂 You guys were suddenly so quiet eating /savoring the Wagu! What an awesome experience. Poor Flora having to fight for a bite! Looking forward to the next one!
The wagyu was life-changing. We need more while we're in Japan ....but maybe we can find something more affordable 😅
It was nice running into you guys ;)
Thanks for saying hi! Good luck with your plans!
You guys make me hungry and I wouldn’t even eat everything you did but still made me hungry 😂😂
You'd love the wagyu beef!
@@FloraandNote can’t wait to try ❤️
Very good smile!😁
Oishi oishi😋every food in Japan’s super yummy👍🏻but expensive 🤣Enjoy😊
There are definitely expensive places but it balances out well when somedays you eat cheap ramen and convenience store food 😆
So much food - You must be so full all the time :)
Good thing we have to walk soo much everyday in Japan 😂
I did the same mistake - I skipped a zero and ended up in the best and iconic Tokyo hotel at $600 per day - it was worth every cent though - nicest place and nicest staff and smack in the middle of the city
love ♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️you both bro and sis🙏🙏🙏🙏
Love you guys. Love Japan, but I'm still going to Koh Samui
We miss Samui a lot too 😍 We've been gone for so many months.
Like I said it is fun watching you.
Good Morning. Flora and Note.
Enticing intro.
Lovely seeing you enjoying the food. That seemed expensive.
Good knives make the difference. My other half brought me a knife from Switzerland. Spent 110 pounds. It slices through everything like butter.
Did I read the price right of that Wagyu?. That was expensive.
Love all the food. Thank you for sharing. Have a wonderflo day.
Seafood and wagyu are not very budget-friendly for sure 😆 We miss the prices of Thai street food!
@@FloraandNote Lovely to splash out. Looked so good. 🥰
nice 👍
I prefer it when old Tsukiji market was still around…it is becoming expensive and touristy especially after covid … doesn’t have the same vibe
Tried the Wagyu stick too ….For ¥6000+ you can get A5 Wagyu Yakiniku buffet 😅
“45,000, that’s like $45 for a sushi knife” 💀
Hi. Flare. And note I am new in your channel Tokyo is beautiful.
Thank you for visiting Japan. Tsukiji Market is known for gathering high-quality ingredients from all over Japan. Since it's a wholesale market, dining here is much more budget-friendly compared to eating at a restaurant.
I've been to Samui over 20 times, but I've never come across the same level of ingredient quality as in Japan. Samui offers a wide variety of seafood ingredients, but unfortunately, they often lack the effort to keep them fresh, which is quite disappointing. During my visits to Samui, I often go on fishing tours and use the fish I catch for making sashimi using the "Ikejime" technique.
The "Wagyu" beef available at TOPS doesn't match the high quality found in Japan, which is quite regrettable.
"Ikejime" is a Japanese technique for preserving the quality and flavor of fish immediately after catching it. This method involves the rapid and humane killing of the fish to minimize stress, which can negatively affect the taste and texture of the flesh.
From japan.
I was recently two weeks in Japan and I gave the sea urchin 3 chances, but everytime I hated it 😂 My boyfriend also didn't like it.. you are right, it tastes like the ocean. But in my opinion it doesn't taste like fresh oceanwater, more like the ground of the ocean and fish innards 😂 I couldn't even get rid of the taste hours after eating the uni. I ate it at a Sushi Conveyer Belt (maybe not the best option), as a topping on unagi and at the Tsukiji fishmarket. The best one was at Tsukiji but I wouldn't order it again. Still didn't like the taste 😢
The wagyu you are eating looks so good ❤
Gotta love you two!!! LOVE THIS AWESOME VIDEO!!! My husband and I are definitely planning on heading to Japan together one of these days because of this wonderful video! Thanks so much for sharing you two😊
We're so happy to hear that! It's a beautiful and very interesting country to visit... you'll love it :)
👍❤️
Tsukiji has too many tourists basically all tourists and everyone with all their camera equipment and bags crowding out the place.
It's way overpriced and overrated
I spy paolo from Tokyo 😂
18:07 is that Paolo From Tokyo on the banner/poster 😂
I am Japanese. 1:06 I was surprised. They used ginger to add soy sauce to their sushi. I'm sorry if I sound bossy, but this is the first time I've seen a non-Japanese person eat sushi correctly. Maybe the sushi chef taught you how to eat it?
I just looked around and saw other Japanese people doing that and I thought, it's so smart! This way the rice won't get too salty 😊
Hi were you able to buy food with Suica or Amex card? @17:42 Paolo
We didn't try ... we made sure to bring cash to the market.
The US dollar is strong. ¥45000 is only $300 so go back and buy that knife.😂 Street food is amazing in Japan. Go to a restaurant called Jige opposite corner from Tsukiji in an alley across the buddist temple. They serve you an entire tuna center bone. The meat is aged and uou scrape the meat from between the bones. Eat it as sashimi, or they make sushi. They also serve oher seafood that is so delish. Nothing like a picture of you eating a large tuna center bone.
Oh my goodness, that sounds like the ultimate tuna experience!
The 'Abalone poo' is probably the liver.

Hi ! Mind asking if you are related to a TH-camr named Maya Lee ? Because the both of you looked very similar almost like twins 😂
Haha really? I'll have to look her up ... and we're definitely not related 😂
Its abalon knee
Wow, to say it’s poo is more of an insult than the rubbing of the chopsticks to the Japanese.
Great reactions to great street food at Tsukiji. Just some comments on your pronuciation -- I've never heard anyone pronounce "abalone" - aba lown - The Japanese guy who took your order even corrected you - abuh=low=nee -- Is yours the Canadian pronunciation? Floraʻs Japanese pronunciation isnʻt bad, but, especially in Japan, please don't perpetuate the English-speaker mispronunciation of "wagyū" as "wag -gu." "Wa" (wah) means Japanese and "gyū" (one syllable and long "u" sound) means beef.
Haha it's not a Canadian pronunciation but more so how my family has been pronouncing it my whole life 😂 It's not common we get to eat abalone so I never knew I was saying it wrong.
go to Taiwan
🙏👍👍👍👍👍🤗🇦🇺🇦🇺🍦
In Japan, it's okay to rub disposable chopsticks together.
Tsukiji in Tokyo and Kuromon in Osaka are very expensive because they are aimed at tourists! Next time I come to Japan, I will guide you 😊
Note , aren't you allergic to shellfish? I recall you mentioning eating river shrimp because you were less allergic to the freshwater. It's generally believed the iodine is the cause but it's actually tropomyosin , present in roaches and dust mites as well . FYI
How dare you speak that word like that!😝😝😝😳😳😳HUH??? Just another reason to dislike roaches or bugs yuck! Lol, but good to know! Are you a chemist or scientist or a field combines them? I love learning but thats a word ive no idea how to pronounce! Thanks🙏🏻❤️🤨🧐
@@lindabuck2777 I'm a retired carpenter
I am allergic to the preservatives so when it is fresh seafood, I notice I don't react to it. But when I was living in Canada, I often had horrible reactions to the frozen seafood.
4:13 yea, don't do that in Japan. She is 100% correct and the first I've heard from a tourist. If you go to a fancy restaurant, they will offer you wooden chopsticks rather than reusable chopsticks. You know it is clean and never been used. 18:03 Wat the!! That poster of the dude is Paolo from Tokyo??? Don't watch the channel. No interest, but I can't figure out how to get rid of him on my recommended list .
Any girl that will eat shellfish poop and like it is a keeper. Don't screw up Note! lol
😂😂😂
you are very cute. (I'm japanese.)
Thank you 😊
@@FloraandNote Please have a nice trip, have a nice day. you look like Japanese.
It seems we could get much more for the same price in the States.
Why people are lined up just to try street food? 🤔
Because this market serves super fresh and delicious food!
Ladies first, man! She has to take food from you. It looks like you don't want to share!
Haha that's not true. He always shares and saves me the best bite... but between the two of us he's the scallop lover and he knows it 😂
@@FloraandNote good to hear!
Street food in Japan? Not really.
There are some festivals/parks with stalls, and Fukuoka has a few yatai, but it's not a street food country. Nor is Japan a place that wants anyone to eat while walking!
You're right that's why Tsukiji is such a unique place that everyone can buy from stalls and eat on the street 😄
Tsukiji Market is overrated. Everything there is twice the normal price. The only good thing is the variety that's offered in one place.
Lost my respect for you man, you try to eat all the biggest pieces of scallops not leaving any for your girlfriend. My bf always gives me the biggest piece and the tastiest food first, I never ask him, he just does it.
Can't seem to change the video quality. Pretty much unwatchable.
Could be your internet connection 🤔
Only your video impacted. Tried clearing cache but no change. All good I'll check out the vid tomorrow, hopefully fixed by then. 😊
