    Your the best!!!!!!
    P.S. I really love taking "picture" , Pls help me to decide and get the updated camera and give me extra pointers to it Tnx man.

    Great video, and like the first few seconds where it says we've all come home and viewed our photos / videos and been disappointed. I honestly think this video is very helpful without going to technical, and within 5 mins I have my landscape and portrait AF points locked in. Hope it'll work.......p.s. he sounds and looks a bit like Hugh Grant ! :)

    Great presentation, but now you should make a follow up video, in which you take each individual 'scene' and explain step by step how to get these settings done. Remember, some of us are novice in photography... :)

    The Canon EOS 70D has a very big defaults, when it is used in video mode for sequenses a little long it boils then the internal electro card is off, it costs close to 300 euro to repair it is a very Frequent and the major of those who opted for the Canon EOS 70D have had this problem, think 1000 times before buying one and learn about the forums

      i have a canon 70 to 300 that is superb and does real well but the 28-135 is a bit of a trial it is good upto about 18 feet but between 18 feet and 40 it is out of focus but after 40 or so feet it does quite well it is a pain when it shoot well as i try it at different ranges. i have a sigma 18 to 200 that never fails but some times i get a shaky hand so that throws the shot of i keep looking out for a lens the same as my 18 to 200 with is but up to now what i have seen are out of my price right now.
      thank you for your comments all the best Jack A B

    Canon is making a mistake with a lot of Canon users. We have the Canon 70D with the err80. They don´t say anything to us, but in Brazil they recognized it as a manufacturing error and not because the users do a wrong use. Because of that, we are bound to make sound in social networks since we get a proper answer. WE NEED A SOLUTION RIGHT NOW! #canon #canon70D #canonEurope #err80

    This is somewhat helpful as an overview but then you need to go back to explain more fully how and where you changed the settings.You move so fast that I had to actually stop the video and play it over and over to try to catch what you did. I still cannot find the exact settings that you used. Very frustrating!

      This isn't supposed to replace the manual that you got with the camera, and only if this is your first Canon camera I can see how this is hard to follow, but you should be starting with simpler stuff.

      i disagree if your trying to capture kids running about and the dog/birds locking on focus is no good at all ive revised manual what came with it and no help the options just dont seem to be onscreen

      Kudos for the Video! Sorry for the intrusion, I would appreciate your thoughts. Have you thought about - Riddleagan Create Memories Remedy (erm, check it on google should be there)? It is a good exclusive product for mastering the DSLR camera and creating stunning photos minus the normal expense. Ive heard some interesting things about it and my cooworker finally got great results with it.

    It's really a pity for all that moire and artifacts on water and on the wires while they're jumping...

    • @wldktz1
      @wldktz1 10 ปีที่แล้ว

      That's because they were cramming a 20mp picture into a HD video. That is not uncommon at all when inserting hi-resolution images into a video.

    • @trafficarte
      @trafficarte 10 ปีที่แล้ว

      Robert Weaver I'm aware of it, but I'm also aware that other cameras, like the 5DIII are almost moiré-free, as other brand cameras.
      This 70D would be the perfect camera for run&gun shooter, but the artifacts are really distracting.

  • @lachlanstott
    @lachlanstott 9 ปีที่แล้ว +3

    At the 4:19 mark you can clearly see that these are faked. You have the water rippling below two perfectly stationary people on the zip line. If you're going to fake it, at least put some effort into making it convincing.

    • @lachlanstott
      @lachlanstott 9 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Sorry, 4:14

    • @Riviner
      @Riviner 8 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      +Lachlan Stott Are you serious? It appears so. I'm not an expert on photography nor video shooting, but i know enough that it's happening due to the static picture being slowly zoomed in, larger amount of pixels being squeezed to a smaller space. Sometimes you see such an effect, especially when thin lines of pixels of high contrast are in concern. Thin lines, some texture etc. being squeezed and fitted to a smaller space of pixels. Is the Moiré effect / pattern applicable here, i wonder? It's quite similar. Just take any picture of a sweater (as an example) where you can see proper texture / contrast and start scaling it down.
      I know there's plenty of fake business happening for whatever advantage in photography, movies, advertising, games, media industry in general. Here though, what would they gain by animating that particular sequence? Dozen of half-excited "wooow"'s, i doubt it. Don't be silly dear people, not everything is a scam. Happy shooting!

    • @sugashack74
      @sugashack74 7 ปีที่แล้ว

      You are right. This is not the Moiré effect. Obviously Ville did not look at the video closely.

    • @villemononen5303
      @villemononen5303 7 ปีที่แล้ว

      Well, i tried my best to give it many many good looks. Stopping the speed down to 0.25 helps. I don't see any fake business here. Water is supposedly "moving", but the reflections are not changing, thus the water is not in motion. Seagulls gone rigor mortis, everything frozen in fact etc. It's a static image being scaled down.
      I know marketing business can get dirty at times, and sometimes they do everything in their resources to sell something on fake terms. But it's not in this video, no matter what is one's opinion on Canon. Why "fake" just one picture out of dozens and dozens of pictures, which appear to have every-day quality to them (which is good, meaning they weren't trying to go all super pro perfect clinical fake). Why fake just one picture? Why? It would simply be waste of time.
      It's good to be healthy critical, but it's harmful to go all-out "everything's conspiracy". Some balance and decency goes a long way. Have a lovely day now.
