Great tips. You are proof that protective style can be used wisely.. Thanks for sharing. I see comments about people telling you want to do just because they see your hair length but don't care to know how you did it.. Some said why don't you straighten your hair so they can see the length, some ask why you use weave since your hair is long... Amazing people.. .........Please do what you feel right for your hair...you hair, your personal business..
Gorgeous hair!! Your hair has grown so much ova the past 2years can't wait till you flat iron it.....keep the natural hairstyles coming.......I have been watching your videos since day one and I am currently wearing weaves as my protective styles to grow my hair out as well so you are definitely my motivation lol.
8 years later, I still come back to this upload as a reference when I take take sew ins or my braids under my wigs...the oil prepoo helps the braids unravel more easily and the shed hair to slide out easier without feeling like it's tangling and pulling.
wow, what a great video. i am a transitioning 4b/c hair type and this helped so much with retaining length and how to properly take down braids after a sew in. thanks so much!
@katelyn vickers I sure do in my wash routine.. you'll see in the video I say I continue into my regular wash routine, so that's when I whip out the shampoo. I already have a couple videos on my wash routine so I didn't feel the need to repeat that in this video..you can check those videos out to see what I do though. :)
Super helpful video! Your videos are awesome and really informative. I've been looking for hair tips for my specific hair type, and I think I've found them! :D
Suggestion on detangling hair after removing a weave is to use a spray in detangler (the one for kids works good for me) let it soak for about 5 to 10 minutes, gently massage, then begin combing through.
Thank you so much for this video. Every single time I remove my weaves, I find that I have soooo much shed hair once everything is detangled...I'm going to give your methods a try to see if I will retain more length. Thanks again :)
I was wondering if you do your own weave? Can you show your braid pattern before the install? I want to use weaves as a protective hairstyle to achieve my hair goals. I need and idea of how to do it. Thank you
OMG Your close to waist length and your still wearing weaves lml but great retention of length hopefully you'll soon do wash and gos or curly hair routines
I love that animal print scarf. When taking my sew ins down it takes me forever. Then it takes another hour to wash it. Sometimes I just want to shave my head
This literally made me laugh out loud. LOL. I already know how you feel girl ! It was such a beautiful relief and change taking down the 10min unit. It definitely saved a lot of time from my usual takedown day long "productions" so I was beyond grateful lol.
great video. I am just wondering why you dont use an enclosure instead of having a leave out? That way you would have 100% protection for your hair. I'm not trolling you...I am just wondering.
can you talk about your natural hair more, it look like you jumped from shoulder length to waist length so fast a haha. I watch all your videos, do you think your hair grew because of your diet, protective styling, biotin or hairfinity use, drinking water? I know you can't really speed up hair growth but it would be nice to know if you're consistent with hair routines =]
Your hair is so fab! What are your goals? And just curious- why are you still wearing weaves so heavily when your hair is so long and healthy? Do you ever want to wear your real hair? Just wondering!
I've been relaxer-free for 6-7 years but I definitely was not educated on how to care for or grow out my natural hair..so I was basically damaging it for 6-7 years too (-_-) lol. So I've only been on a healthy hair journey for a little over 2 years. :)
I want you hair so bad it grew so long i wish my hair would grow that long but I'm impatient and my mom won't spend alot of money to get me a protective style like a sew in
you retained a lot of growth girl!
Oh Thank you hun !!

kim ciccone I love that suggestion !
I'll have to give it a try :)
I hope it works for all who try it!! I did have some hair loss when combing through BUT, not even close to the amount I had experienced in times past.
Thank you so much for this video. Every single time I remove my weaves, I find that I have soooo much shed hair once everything is detangled...I'm going to give your methods a try to see if I will retain more length. Thanks again :)

Your hair is so long and thick! How u got it into a flat braid pattern girl?
She didn't do big braids
I love that animal print scarf. When taking my sew ins down it takes me forever. Then it takes another hour to wash it. Sometimes I just want to shave my head

Your are so nice ! Thank you so much my love.
Yes, I work about 3-4 days a week.
:)
you're very welcome... thanks for the reply!
So you rinse out the conditioner and then do an acv rinse? What do you do after the rinse?
Goals ✊🏾
How do you take care of your hair when you have single braids, and minimizing breakage.
What growth products if any did you use while you were wearing the weave?
nice
how long do u keep ur sew ins in?
did you do the braid pattern yourself?
You should also saturate your with the conditioner all over the braids and then do your take down .. You be amazed at how moisturizer it is.
Is your hair naturally thick? Or is there some stuff you do?
Why didn't you oil your hair after you took it out?
For the ACV how much water did you mix into it?
Your hair is noticeably longer ! I could tell in the first few seconds of watching
How long u do u keep your u - parts sewed in for?
You are soo very beautiful!
great video. I am just wondering why you dont use an enclosure instead of having a leave out? That way you would have 100% protection for your hair. I'm not trolling you...I am just wondering.

Why don't you Straighten your hair it is so long and how did you get it that long?
how long did it take you to reach waist length?
What is your hair type? My hair is similar to yours but I don't know what my hair type is.
So you don't use shampoo ?
Besides the ones in the video
You are soo pretty u remind me of Kelly Rowland
is this the ten minute sew in?
Yes , that was the unit I took out in this video.
Thank you for watching by the way love !
How long do you keep your sew-ins in?
3 months
How long did it take you to detangle?
No more than 20-25 minutes :)
What?! It must be nice! I am gonna try your detangling method though, because it typically takes me hours to detangle my hair.
how long did you have the install in ?
I wore the 10 min unit for 4 weeks.. I installed it over older braids basically
10minute sew-in?? Tutorial?
Andrea Evans coming today ^_^
xoxo
how long have you been natural?
I've been relaxer-free for 6-7 years but I definitely was not educated on how to care for or grow out my natural hair..so I was basically damaging it for 6-7 years too (-_-) lol.
So I've only been on a healthy hair journey for a little over 2 years.
:)
Sorry for the typos but I think you know what I mean
I want you hair so bad it grew so long i wish my hair would grow that long but I'm impatient and my mom won't spend alot of money to get me a protective style like a sew in
Why don't leave your hair out?
Sometimes I do , sometimes I don't. Right now though I'm consciously trying to grow out my hair.
Your hair longg
Thank you love !
