    Trust me, the 7th gen nano is where it’s at 👌🏼 you still get radio, have Bluetooth, and better charging with the lightning cable

      Yeah for these days it's the better one, it's the newest that came out from the Nano line, you lose the built in speaker & microphone and the video camera but you get lightning port and bluetooth

      @@TamaraGirodie Yep, it’s pretty easy. You can either buy a classic midframe and transplant the board over, or if you’re creative you can use the 5th gen midframe even though the screws don’t line up.

      + it's a real life subscription service, because most of the time you can't replace the batteries, so you are forced to buy new headphones every few years.
      Cable-bound headphones stay good if you tread them good

    I love my iPod classic I modded with 256GB SD card and 2000MAH battery. Last year I attended a wedding and left my phone at home. The fact I did that and just had my iPod and DSLR on me, made me enjoy the day so much more because I knew i would have just doom scrolled social media. I got to interact with the people that are now family. I really think we all need to put our phones down and take a look at the real world.

    My solution to this was get a 7th gen iPod touch and just don’t connect any Apple accounts to it. At that point you can load MP3s onto it like any other iPod touch but get full Bluetooth headphone functionality (example noise cancellation on AirPods Pro). 7th gen nano is great too but an iPod touch has way more storage. Another benefit to the touch is you can save music from a streaming device offline and just turn off WiFi. It’s still way smaller than a modern smartphone

    You need to look at hiby m300, its a DAP (digital audio player) made by hiby. Its an android mp3 player or DAP but the thing is it has small screen and using it daily gives me all the creature comfort while not distracting me. Just need an extra small power bank if you use it too much. Also its very cheap at 170, have a look at it if you can, you probably will like it

    You know you can sync any old MP3 to any old iPod, right? You don’t need to use iTunes to buy music, you just need it to add songs to your device. Best part is, if you’re like me, and have a large collection of cds, you can rip them to your iTunes library.

    The iPod Classic 7th generation is a solid choice if you're looking for a device with substantial storage and a familiar click wheel interface. It typically offers 160GB of storage, which should be ample for music, movies, and TV episodes. The battery life is around 36 hours for music playback and 6 hours for video playback. It has a 2.5-inch color display, good for browsing music and watching videos. The click wheel interface is intuitive and easy to use. Given the budget, consider second-hand or refurbished options.

    I mostly use mine in the car. It’s still got all my favorite songs from when I first got it and it’s literally like nostalgia anytime I use it. I also keep headphones in my bag and occasionally if my AirPods are dead or I have no cell service (I don’t have any songs saved for offline) it’s nice to always have my nano and some earbuds in my backpack. The camera is horrible though and I never use it, although I did when I was a kid. I thought having that camera on me at all times was the coolest thing ever.

  • @b3naqua
    @b3naqua หลายเดือนก่อน +2

    I have the same iPod nano (have had it since back in the day!). I whipped it out recently to see what the experience was like and I kinda loved the nostalgia of it. It was like opening a time capsule. But the downfall of it was the battery life is awful and charging it constantly got old FAST lol. I could def see it as a fun little escape from the web of algorithms we now somehow dwell in. And I looooove how light it is. I miss light, tiny tech. Excellent video 👏🏼

    I think the best option at that point is to find an iPod Touch 7th gen. You can get them in higher storage sizes, have retina screens, cameras that are somewhat tolerable, internet access, bluetooth, and you can just not download any applications or connect it to anything that will give you notifications. They aren't as small and light as nanos, but very light in comparison to any modern smartphone

  • @Miles-Oldenburger
    @Miles-Oldenburger หลายเดือนก่อน +1

    also, anything prior to the 6th gen nano's are basically bombs now since there wasn't enough space inside for the batteries to swell... so now that the chemical makeup of the batteries is deteriorating and starting to expand, they become spicy combustable pillows...

    Apple is dedicated to earn via iTunes badly since its existence that is why they didn't gave appstore in Nanos to download any music streaming apps like Spotify etc and strategically kept Nanos solely dependent on either iTunes paid content or other free sideloaded content ! ( I wish Nanos could have spotify or any other music streaming app as they saves our storage )😭 Another thing that breaks heart about Nanos is that some of them do have BT functionality but are unable to connect with the Airpod pros 💔 ( Man ..... This could be an outstanding breakthrough in Nanos portabilty and overall efficiency ). Maybe they can support some other Chinese BT earphones .... who knows ? 🤔 I personally will buy Nano 7 in Pink😍 as i have a sealed boxed iPhone 7 in Pink as well and its an unknown fact that Apple made Nano 7 Pink and iPhone7 Pink for Each other as they both have exactly the same Pink colours and together they look like Bride and groom whose Match was made in Garden of Cupertino ! 💖💖🥰💯
